Star Trek: Lower Decks’ first season comes to Blu-ray on May 18th and ComicBook.com has an exclusive clip from the home media release’s special features. The clip comes from the Lower Decktionary, an episode-by-episode look into the creation of Star Trek’s first animated comedy. This clip sees star Dawn Lewis, creator Mike McMahan, and other members of the show’s staff digging into Ensign Mariner’s relationship with her mother, Captain Freeman, and how that relationship mirrors the dynamics between the bridge crew and lower decks crew aboard the USS Cerritos.
