With the 10th anniversary of his passing yesterday, fans from all over shared their love for a creator who revamped the entire DC Animated Universe slate. Static Shock recently hit HBO Max to near-universal approval. Justice League and Justice League Unlimited are always highly regarded. Ben 10 has been on longer than some of the fans have been alive now....

Harley Quinn returns to the big screen with James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, alongside a team comprised of some of the world’s most dangerous villains sent on a dangerous mission to the island of Corto Maltese to destroy a Nazi-era laboratory. As the third outing for the character played by Margot Robbie, fans are excited to see what’s next for the brash and colorful character after her appearances in 2016’s Suicide Squad and 2020’s Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) — especially with this new film not really connecting to either previous movie in any established way....

A Milestone Media animated feature is in development and even more was announced at DC FanDome. DC Comics just gave Milestone fans a wild gift as there will be so much content for the community in 2022. An all-new Blood Syndicate comic book series is scheduled for next year. There’s also an amazing Milestone Compendium coming in 2022 as well. The Black History Anthology will be a must-have for fans of these characters....

Wizards of the Coast has organized its first preview of its next Dungeons & Dragons sourcebook. Several influencers have released preview images of Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons on their respective Twitter pages, giving fans their first sneak peek into the contents of that upcoming rulebook. Wizards of the Coast runs similar previews for its Magic: The Gathering sets and ran a similar promotional campaign for the release of Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything last year....

Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather’s blockbuster boxing match apparently made over $50 million in Pay-Per-View buys. The latest report from Boxing Scene lays out how many people ordered the fight and it is astonishing how many people tuned in to see the YouTube star in the ring. Even more impressively, this was the biggest single-day of new subscribers for Showtime since the launch of their streaming platform in 2015. All of these developments can be staggering, but that doesn’t give credit to the massive hype train this promotion created....

Godzilla vs. Kong is a wild success, having brought in numerous new subscribers to the streaming service of HBO Max while also taking in hundreds of millions of dollars in profits in theaters around the world, and new concept art has arrived showing off the earlier designs for Mechagodzilla and how the legendary doppelganger was made to be a “Terminator”. Though Mechagodzilla was kept out of most of the marketing material and trailers for the long-awaited kaiju crossover, several clues were dropped that made the arrival of the mecha the movie’s “worst kept secret”....

Earier today, comedian and actor Adam Sandler took to social media to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Happy Gilmore with a recreation of the title hero’s famous golf shot from the 1996 comedy hit. All this time later, Happy Gilmore remains one of Sandler’s most beloved films – so much so that even the bad guys wanted in on the action. When Sandler took his shot, he dedicated it to Shooter McGavin, his onscreen rival played by Christopher McDonald....

The star of Netflix’s hit series Lupin explained why he wanted that role specifically. Omar Sy is French and that heavily factored into his decision. The X-Men: Days of Future Past star spoke to The New York Times about the streaming smash-hit. For those who don’t know, Arsene Lupin is a character from Maurice Leblanc’s series of tales. The fictional thief provides both the metatextual inspiration for the show and proves to be a catalyst for Sy’s character Assane Diop....

A new Persona update has some bad news for fans. With Persona 6 on the horizon, Persona 5 Royal port rumors circulating, and Atlus bringing forward installments from yesteryear, it’s a great and exciting time to be a Persona fan, but perhaps not as great and exciting as previously anticipated. Back in April, the Persona 25th anniversary website was updated to show an extra announcement, taking the expected announcements, at the time, from eight to nine....

One Piece hasn’t been afraid to pull any punches with the latest War For Wano Arc, pitting Luffy and his friends against the terrifying power of Kaido and Big Mom, but in the latest installment, the Straw Hat Pirates’ resident swordsman unleashed an attack that might turn the tide for the resistance forces of the isolated nation. Overlord has confirmed the release window for Season 4 of the anime with a new trailer and poster! The third season of the anime taking on Kugane Maruyama and so-bin’s original light novel series wrapped up its third season back in 2018, and while that season ended with the tease or where Ains Ooal Gown could go next, a fourth season of the anime was not confirmed to be in the works until earlier this year....

While the anticipation for Paddington 3 continues to keep fans going around the world, star Ben Whishaw and production companies Heyday Films & Studiocanal were secretly putting together a new short film featuring the bear and an unexpected co-star, Queen Elizabeth II of England. Deadline brings word that on the occasion of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking the 70th anniversary of her ascent to the throne, an original short film featuring Elizabeth and Paddington Bear premiered on the BBC....

Niantic accidentally unveiled an early look at its new Pokemon Go Collection Challenge feature. Some Pokemon Go players have reported that their Unova Collection Challenge went live ahead of tomorrow’s Unova Celebration Event. The Collection Challenge is a new feature that gives players rewards for capturing certain Pokemon during the event. Players will earn 3,000 Stardust, 30 Poke Balls, and 5 Rare Candies if they catch Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Lillipup, Herdier, Zebstrika, Roggenrola, Solosis, and Ferroseed during the Unova Celebration event....

Ming-Na Wen is a Disney Legend known for voicing Mulan, playing Melinda May on Agents of SHIELD, and starring in The Book of Boba Fett as Fennec Shand. Throughout her career, Wen also appeared in The Joy Club, Street Fighter, ER, and has made guest appearances on multiple sitcoms. Most recently, she cameoed in an episode of Netflix’s Pretty Smart and played Awkwafina’s aunt on Nora From Queens. Next, Wen will be the latest Star Wars actor to guest-star in the Big Bang Theory universe....

The Emmy Award-winning Live in Front of a Studio Audience will return in December with two new reenactments of beloved, classic television series. This time, the third iteration of Live in Front of a Studio Audience will feature The Facts of Life and Diff’rent Strokes. Both reenactments will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, December 7th beginning at 8 p.m. EST. As has been the case for the previous events, this round of Live in Front of a Studio Audience will be a one-night-only event that will stream the next day on Hulu....

Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar is officially making the jump from Twitch to YouTube Gaming, it was announced today. The announcement that TimTheTatman had signed an exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming comes just one day after the announcement that Ben “DrLupo” Lupo had done the same. As with DrLupo, TimTheTatman is no stranger to YouTube, but the number of followers the popular streamer has on YouTube is roughly half of that on Twitch, which could make for a rocky transition....

Kraft-Heinz, the maker of Kool-Aid, has announced an urgent recall on the popular drink mix due to some of the Kool-Aid items potentially containing glass or metal particles. According to BGR, Kraft-Heinz maintains that the particles do not pose a serious threat if ingested, however, the recall is in place out of an abundance of caution and consumers are being urged to check their pantries. The specific Kool-Aid product in question is the Tropical Punch flavor with “Best When Used By” dates that fall between June 13, 2023, and October 3, 2023....

Andrade El Idolo made his in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling during AEW Dynamite: Road Rager on Wednesday night. The former NXT Champion arrived with new gear channeling the DC Comics villain Black Mask, complete with a white pinstripe suit and all-black luchador mask. The villain, typically a part of Batman’s rogues’ gallery, was depicted in live-action by Ewan McGregor in the 2020 film Birds of Prey and has been in a number of animated features including Batman: Under the Red Hood and Batman: Bad Blood....

Digimon Adventure 02 is gearing up for its own major return with a new feature film, and the first footage for this upcoming project will be officially released later this Summer! The Digimon franchise is now in the midst of celebrating its 20th Anniversary and as a result fans saw the eight original Chosen Children from the original Digimon Adventure series make their return with not only a full reboot TV anime, but the Last Evolution Kizuna film that also brought their series to an end....

Dr. Stone might have ended its manga run, and a new season of the anime is currently in the works, but there are also new plans to bring it back for a stage play overseas as well. Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s original manga franchise is now bigger than ever following the release of the final chapter earlier this Spring, and thus Shueisha has kicked off a whole new wave of celebrations for the franchise....
