Spider-Man is getting another trilogy after No Way Home and series star Jacob Batalon addressed his part in whatever comes next. During the red carpet for the MCU film, Variety caught up with the actor and asked about those three movies dancing in the distance. Batalon offered, “That’s something I can’t really speak on. You know? Whatever happens, happens. But, we’re supportive of Spider-Man no matter what.” So, clearly, the star is behind his buddy Tom Holland no matter what....

Studio Trigger has celebrated Kill la Kill’s 8th Anniversary with a special new key visual! It’s quite a monumental time for Studio Trigger as the Hiroyuki Imaishi and Masahiko Otsuka founded company recently celebrated its tenth anniversary. While it’s been ten years since the studio has been founded, it’s been eight years since their first original anime production actually debuted in Japan. Kill la Kill was the new studio’s first original anime effort following Imaishi and Otsuka leaving Gainax, and it’s still regarded as a major classic by many anime fans to this day....

A new action figure from The Batman includes a key detail about Catwoman that the trailer didn’t show. DC FanDome recently gave fans an even more in-depth look at Selina Kyle in the upcoming DC Comics movie. Zoe Kravitz will be rocking that iconic whip at some point in the film. The cat burglar was all over that trailer with Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader. But, there was no sign of the signature weapon in any moments from the clip....

It feels like forever ago, but two years ago in September 2019, it was announced that Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell were teaming up to star together in a new holiday musical. The film, Spirited, finally entered production back in July and while it’s unclear exactly when fans will get to see the finished product, fans don’t have to wait to see the two actors bring on the songs. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has shared new details for the anime’s next big ending theme sequence! The anime is now in the midst of a string of original arcs in order to give the manga more time to develop its story beyond Isshiki Otsutsuki’s invasion of the Hidden Leaf Village, and that means the the staff behind the series is now able to experiment more with the opening and ending theme sequences attached to the series....

WrestleMania 38 week will feature a special Superstore Axxess convention for fans in the Dallas area from Thursday through Sunday, and C4 Energy confirmed they’re bringing holographic meet & greets to the event. The announcement for the event reads, “C4 Energy is redefining the traditional “meet & greet” with a technology-imbued hologram consumer activation at the WWE Superstore. As the march toward the premiere of Marvel Studios’ Loki on Disney+ gets closer, the official Twitter account for the streaming service has announced #LokiWednesdays for every Hump Day leading up to the premiere with Watch Parties of his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The event started tonight with Marvel’s Thor and will continue for the next three weeks: May 19, starting at 4 PM PT, will be a double feature of The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World; May 26, starting at 5 PM PT, will be Thor: Ragnarok; and on June 2, starting at 4 PM PT, will be the extra-long double feature of Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame....

Escape from Tarkov players got a new update to download this week that comes with another wipe as well as several other features and fixes to check out. Battlestate Games, the creators of Escape from Tarkov, shared the latest on the game ahead of the update’s release with a full set of patch notes detailing everything that would change. The update took a bit longer to release than usual, but after some extended maintenance, it’s now out and available for players to install....

Filmmaker James Wan’s latest film, Malignant, is now in theaters on HBO Max and it’s a return to the horror genre for the filmmaker after 2016’s The Conjuring 2. The genre-bending film is unlike anything Wan’s made before, but it also comes at an interesting point in the filmmaker’s career. Malignant is placed in between two superhero films, 2018’s Aquaman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which is currently filming, and while the films are all very different on nearly every level, Wan says that things he learned making Aquaman influenced Malignant and that he’ll be taking new tricks to Aquaman 2 as well....

John Cena joked about stealing the Peacemaker costume on Friday Night SmackDown this week. The Leader of the Cenation has been quite busy lately. He was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week to promote his part in The Suicide Squad. During that appearance, director James Gunn revealed that the WWE star has been making off with the Peacemaker costumes when he leaves the set. Naturally, Cena wanted to clear the air a little bit....

Leonard Nimoy’s children and his Star Trek co-star William Shatner are remembering the late actor on the seventh anniversary of his death. Nimoy played the iconic role of Spock in Star Trek: The Original Series and the six films featuring the show’s cast opposite Shatner as Capt. James T. Kirk. He also appeared in 2009’s Star Trek and 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness. In 2015, Nimoy died at age 83 due to complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease....

More sad news has hit Marvel’s Avengers as a developer has stated there is no formal roadmap for the game and it seems as though the game is being scaled back. Marvel’s Avengers has been fighting an uphill battle since its proper reveal at E3 2019. When the game was announced, many were concerned with its live service nature, the way the characters looked, and much more. Fans had major reservations regarding the game and it only grew worse once the game released....

Nash Bridges is coming back for a new revival movie with Don Johnson and Cheech Marin both returning to reprise their roles as elite investigators on the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit. The movie will air on USA Network on Saturday, November 27th. USA Network shared the release date and key art for the upcoming movie on social media on Friday writing “the boys are BACK”. According to Deadline, the movie will also see the return of original cast member Jeff Perry and a few new additions as well including Joe Dinicol, Diarra Kilpatrick, Angela Ko, Paul James, Alexia Garcia, and Bonnie Sommerville....

The Old Guard was a massive hit for Netflix in 2020, breaking multiple records and becoming one of the streamer’s most popular original films to date, so it’s no surprise that a sequel is on the way. While the sequel has been in development for a while, Netflix revealed on Thursday that the project is officially moving forward, albeit with a new director at the helm. Gina Prince-Bythewood is stepping down as director of The Old Guard 2, though she’ll be staying on as a producer of the next film....

Cypher,a thriller series, released its first trailer for Roku. A deal with the streaming giant allowed the movie to release on the Roku Channel. Cypher focuses on an FBI-based crime drama. March 19th is the day that everything really gets rolling on the service in the United States and Canada. There are seven episodes with each installment being about an hour-long. Viewers can look forward to this offering being free as well, because it’s hosted on the Roku Channel....

Star Trek: Discovery season 4 has officially wrapped production! co-showrunner Michelle Paradise made the announcement that the crew of Discovery had finally finished production on the fourth season, in a tweet that states: “…and that’s a wrap on S4! A huge THANK YOU to our amazing cast and crew. I can’t say enough about the effort, teamwork, and heart they brought to this challenging season. We’re now turning off the lights and leaving the stages in good hands....

The future of the Star Wars franchise is expected to be expanded in some major ways on Disney+, with a number of live-action and animated projects set in a galaxy far, far away. Among them is Star Wars: The Acolyte, a live-action series that will be set in the tail end of the High Republic era, a point in time that is currently being explored in comics and novels. The series was first announced to be in the works over a year ago, and with production rumored to begin sooner than later, fans have been curious for any update surrounding the series....

Star Wars could be hinting that Luke Skywalker’s evil clone will soon become a part of the new Disney canon. After rebranding it as the non-canon “Legends” line, Star Wars has borrowed elements from the old Expanded Universe, from characters like Thrawn to entire storylines for the sequel trilogy. A new issue of Marvel’s canon Star Wars: Darth Vader comic book dropped a hint that another Star Wars Legends character, Luke’s clone Luuke, could be the next to make the jump into the franchise’s new canon....
