Spider-Man: No Way Home hit theaters earlier this month, and it’s already managed to reach $1 billion at the box office. The big draw of the film has been the cameos from past Spider-Man stars ranging from actors who appeared in the Tobey Maguire-led films as well as the Andrew Garfield-led ones. In No Way Home, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) attempts a spell for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) that would make everyone forget he’s Spider-Man....

Spider-Man: No Way Home star Willem Dafoe says that one Green Goblin complaint affected the movie. In a conversation with The New York Times, the beloved actor admitted that some fans may not have been too fond of his grandiose helmet. The Goblin headwear is unmistakable if you’ve seen the 2001 Sam Raimi movie. With those weird translucent yellow eyes and pearlescent green paint, they grab attention. However, some members of the fanbase wanted a bit more comic-accurate version of Spider-Man’s greatest nemesis....

Star Trek: Lower Decks’ first season comes to Blu-ray on May 18th and ComicBook.com has an exclusive clip from the home media release’s special features. The clip comes from the Lower Decktionary, an episode-by-episode look into the creation of Star Trek’s first animated comedy. This clip sees star Dawn Lewis, creator Mike McMahan, and other members of the show’s staff digging into Ensign Mariner’s relationship with her mother, Captain Freeman, and how that relationship mirrors the dynamics between the bridge crew and lower decks crew aboard the USS Cerritos....

Today was a big day at CinemaCon, especially for Tom Cruise. Not only did the actor reveal the title for the seventh Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, but the long-awaited Top: Gun Maverick had its first screening. The first reactions for the movie out of CinemaCon were extremely positive, with people claiming it was worth the wait. The movie was originally supposed to be released in 2019 but was delayed until 2020, and then the pandemic set it back a couple more times....

Roman Reigns was a guest on Wednesday’s The Pat McAfee Show, where he was asked a number of questions about his upcoming WWE Universal Championship match with John Cena at SummerSlam. Reigns stayed mostly in character throughout the interview, tearing into the 16-time former world champion for daring to come back and try to challenge his spot as “The Head of the Table.” Reigns kicked things off by saying, “Like anybody at the top of their game I think there’s a very polarizing effect....

Andrade El Idolo arrived on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night with a few surprises. The first was that he had hired a new executive consultant, who turned out to be none other than Chavo Guerrero Jr. The former WWE star departed from the company in 2011, then had runs in Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground, Nacion Lucha Libre and various independent promotions. He also consistently found work in Hollywood, most notably working as the fight coordinator for the hit Netflix series GLOW....

WB Games and developer Turtle Rock Studios are today pushing out a new update for Back 4 Blood across all platforms. This latest patch for the co-op zombie shooter is the big one for the month of December 2021 that Turtle Rock had previously promised would be coming. Filming is continuing on DC’s Batgirl movie, which is poised to finally bring the solo story of Barbara Gordon / Batgirl (Leslie Grace) to life onscreen. The upcoming HBO Max-exclusive film features a surprising supporting cast, including J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon. While Simmons already briefly portrayed the character in both Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the confirmation that he was returning for Batgirl definitely pleasantly surprised fans....

Black Widow packed a surprise into its storyline with a reveal of Taskmaster’s identity. In comics, the character is known as Tony Masters. First appearing in The Avengers #195 in 1980, Tony Masters has since developed a loyal following (many of which are sharing their opinions of the Marvel Cinematic Universe version). When the marketing for Black Widow kept the identity of Taskmaster a secret, it became an expectation that the character would not be a replication of its comic book counterpart (major Black Widow spoilers ahead)....

After being removed from the release schedule so that Paramount could reconsider its options, the Clifford the Big Red Dog movie is going to come out in 2021 after all – and will be delivered to Paramount+ on the same day, taking a cue from the release strategy of the Paw Patrol movie, which ViacomCBS (Paramount’s parent company) believes helped Paw Patrol to actually make more money at the box office, rather than less, as is often claimed for non-kids’ movies....

We’re just a little over a month away from the premiere of Peacemaker, the first television series set in the DC Extended Universe to make its debut on HBO Max. Logan Paul will be a playable character in WWE 2K22, as confirmed by WWE and 2K Sports on Thursday. The lineups for the games various DLC packs dropped as part of a press release and Paul will be available as part of the “Whole Damn Pack” on July 19. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has released a cute new key visual for the second season! Kyoto Animation first announced that a second season was in the works back in 2019, and after some tragic setbacks, the much anticipated second season of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid will finally be making its debut later this year as part of the Summer 2021 anime schedule. With a currently planned release some time this July, Kyoto Animation has been celebrating with a series of cute new key visuals for the upcoming season highlighting each of the returning favorites we will get to see with the show’s return....

Fans of the Saw franchise will tell you that what keeps them coming back for sequels is the ever-evolving plot full of twists and turns that keep you guessing until its final moments, but another key component which much of the general public has latched onto is its gruesome and violent traps, which are once again on display in Spiral: From the Book of Saw. Director Darren Lynn Bousman is no stranger to Saw traps, having directed three previous installments, with Bousman recently detailing that, while the series is known for its carnage, the traps play only a small role in developing the narrative and the attention the production pays to making sure the fictional devices would be just as brutal in real life....
