In the large library of legendary anime movies in the roster of Studio Ghibli, one of the most striking was definitely Princess Mononoke, which featured a mystical world that revolved around a young warrior encountering a girl raised by wolves and a setting for man and supernatural to come to blows. While Princess Mononoke was originally released in 1997, it seems that Ghibli is looking to revisit the beautiful story with a question and answer session that will allow fans to see new revelations unearthed that might give us a new outlook on the magical adventure....

The Batman has already made $5.3 million at the international box office, going into the film’s official Thursday night preview screenings in the US. Reports state that Matt Reeves’ Batman reboot has already made $1.7M in Korea starting from Tuesday, March 1st; The Batman has also made $2.1M in France, $414K in Sweden, $362K in Indonesia, and $193K in Belgium, all starting from Wednesday, March 2nd. The Batman is now set to open in 47 additional markets on Thursday, with an additional 19 being added on Friday....

Filmmaker James Gunn has been very open about the process behind getting The Suicide Squad made, especially today as we’re one month away from the release of the film and the embargo on our visit to the set also lifted. In response to a story revealing new details on the film from the set, Gunn revealed he told the studio in his first meeting about making the movie that it needed to be “an R-rated war film with no-holds-barred,” and that they agreed since he’s “always up front with partners about what I want to do....

Dungeons & Dragons is testing out some major changes to one of its core classes. Earlier today, Wizards of the Coast released a sizable Dungeons & Dragons Unearthed Arcana playtest filled with new Draconic Options. The new playtest completely overhauls the Dragonborn and Kobold player races, bringing them in line with the recent design changes started in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything and providing several new useful abilities. The playtest introduces three new ancestries that serve as unofficial sub-races for Dragonborn....

After the smash success of Ghostbusters: Afterlife last year, we now have our first official details about the franchise’s next live-action movie. On Wednesday, during the annual Ghostbusters Day celebration, it was confirmed that the next film will be set in New York City, and will be operating in its production under the working title of “Firehouse.” As returning director Jason Reitman put it, “The last time we saw Ecto-1, it was driving back into Manhattan: the home of Ghostbusters....

Zack Snyder has commented on Joss Whedon’s Justice League investigation. This legal process has been brewing for the better part of a year after Ray Fisher’s initial calls for an official process. Now, the investigation has concluded on the part of Warner Bros., but the actor is still looking for more action on the part of the studio. Whedon famously stepped in for Snyder when family tragedy caused him to take a leave from the project....

Kevin Hart revealed why he opted not to go to space recently. Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos managed to leave Earth, but they left the beloved comedian behind. In a conversation on his SiriusXM show, he talked about how a production wanted to document a celebrity’s experience up there. However, Hart wasn’t buying what they were selling. He’s not a huge fan of the possible danger that could come with such a mission....

This Thursday will see the three-episode series premiere of Peacemaker, the latest collaboration between writer-director James Gunn and actor John Cena. The live-action series is set after the events of The Suicide Squad and chronicles a personal and emotional story for Christopher Smith / Peacemaker (John Cena), a pacifist vigilante who will kill anyone to fulfill his mission. The show takes the stereotypically-masculine aspects of Peacemaker’s comic tenure — from his comics debut in the 1960s, to his DC renaissance in the 1980s, to his modern appearances — and uses them to tell a character-driven and often-surprising story....

Spy x Family has revealed some key new cast additions to the anime with the second episode of the series! With just over a month to go until the premiere of Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, the marketing campaign is starting to kick off, which includes the series being the focus of an upcoming issue of Total Film. In honor of the upcoming story, the series is the focus of two different covers for the magazine, with one being the standard cover and the other being a subscriber exclusive, focusing on Obi-Wan’s lightsaber instead of promoting the various stories that are inside of the issue....

We’re only a few months into the year, but we’ve been treated to some pretty buzzworthy installments within the world of superhero storytelling. In addition to countless comics, 2022 has already brought the launch of two wildly-different DC properties: the HBO Max television series Peacemaker, and the theatrical film The Batman. Both projects could not be more different in concept and execution — Peacemaker is a violent, foul-mouth action comedy that spins directly out of the events of The Suicide Squad and stars a largely-obscure antihero; while The Batman is a noir-fueled crime drama that is set in its own continuity and surrounds some of DC’s most recognizable heroes and villains....

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is reportedly releasing sooner than we thought, or at least that’s what a new release date leak indicates. Former NXT Champion Finn Balor made his surprise return to WWE main roster this week, arriving on Friday Night SmackDown to interrupt Sami Zayn as he ranted about his conspiracy in front of the Houston fans. After struggling in the midcard on both SmackDown and Raw, Balor made the jump back to WWE’s Black and Gold Brand in October 2019 and quickly reinvented himself as “The Prince.” With his new heel character and significantly more aggressive in-ring style, Balor started feuding with the likes of Matt Riddle, Johnny Gargano and Damian Priest before becoming a two-time NXT Champion last September....

The next wrestler to be inducted into the Ring of Honor 2022 Hall of Fame is AEW sensation CM Punk. He is the final member of the inaugural class, joining the Briscoes, Bryan Danielson, and Samoa Joe. ROH made the announcement on Twitter with a graphic displaying CM Punk’s time in the federation. After a stint in WWE, Punk retired from pro wrestling for seven years, only recently making a return to the ring at AEW’s Friday, August 20th edition of Rampage....

Peach Momoko has made a name for herself as a cover artist, but Marvel’s Demon Days offered this “Stormbreaker” the opportunity to show her storytelling abilities. No one can fault her ambition. Demon Days is an attempt to reimagine the Marvel Universe through the lens of Japanese mythology and folklore, casting many of its extraordinary beings as yokai, spirits with supernatural powers that come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes....

Epic Games just announced a new headquarters for their United States operations. Cary, North Carolina will play host to the massive games company now. They said that the purchase of the Cary Towne Center has made the entire move possible. A lot of companies have been shuffling around since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. In this effort, they are looking to provide a boost to that region and have a lot of their operations set up in one spot....
