Studio Chizu has debuted the first international trailer for Mamoru Hosoda’s newest film, Belle! Hosoda has made a major name for himself among anime fans for feature film projects such as Summer Wars, The Boy and the Beast, and the most recently released Mirai, and now the prominent director is returning for a brand new feature film project. A celebration of Studio Chizu’s tenth anniversary, this new film will be a collaborative work between Hosoda and a number of creators such as Academy Award nominated studio Cartoon Saloon (Wolfwalkers, Song of the Sea) and legendary Disney animator Jin Kim....

Emily in Paris finally got a release date for the show’s second season. Things will get rolling on Netflix on December 22. The streaming company announced that Season 2 would be happening late last year and fans celebrated that news instantly. This time, Emily and the main cast are in Saint Tropez, and the action is looking fun and fashionable. A lot of conversation sprung up on social media about the show and its validity....

The voice behind Dawn (Hikari in the Japanese language original) has broken her silence about coming back to the Pokemon anime after nine long years! Pokemon Journeys has seen Ash Ketchum reunite with a number of familiar fan favorites from his past, and it was recently announced that another one Ash’s old travelling buddies will be making their return to the anime soon. As part of an upcoming special arc later this month, Dawn will be returning to the anime as she and Ash will cross paths once again in Pokemon Journeys....

After Pikachu, Charizard might be the Pokemon most closely associated with Ash Ketchum. While the Fire/Flying-type was mainly responsible for Ash’s loss in the Indigo League, the two formed a close bond that continues in more recent seasons of the show. British cosplayer @LittleJem4 played up the bond between the two at Birmingham’s MCM Comic Con last month. While her Ash costume offered a great likeness, the Charizard design truly stole the show....

2021 is a big year for The Seven Deadly Sins, with the anime series coming to a close and a new anime movie being released later this summer, but fans of the anime series might be shocked to discover that an official crossover with Netflix’s live-action series, Stranger Things, has landed. Via the mobile game, Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, the youngsters of Hawkins and the Sins meet face to face as they battle threats from both worlds....

Spider-Man: No Way Home has some massive ticket presale numbers. In fact, the movie will be the biggest pre-ordering bonanza since Avengers: Endgame back in 2019. Fandango announced this massive wave of buyers and social media would seem to confirm that claim. The ticket company says that this is the best first-day resale performance of 2021. Even more impressive is the fact that No Way Home has managed to outsell titles like Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Spider-Man’s previous appearance in the MCU....

HBO Max will be getting a Virtual Classic Film Festival from TCM this year. The network decided that the coronavirus pandemic wasn’t going to stop them from sharing these films with audiences. TCM viewers with cable will also get some complimentary programming as well. 80 classic films will be available during the festival. West Side Story is the first one up and that screening will feature some interviews and discussions with special guests and the TCM hosts....

Dwayne Johnson had some kind words for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow after his big win on Sunday. The NFL star channeled The Rock with an iconic black turtleneck and chain ensemble. Most fans of the WWE superstar are familiar with the Throwback Thursday picture Johnson posted years ago of his younger self with a fanny pack. Social media exploded when he shared that snapshot to Instagram. With the AFC Title on the line, Burrow decided to give the fans out there a taste of what The Rock was cooking headed into Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City....

It has been twenty-four years since the arrival of one of Cartoon Network’s most popular programming blocks in Toonami, which helped introduce a ton of new viewers to anime series that they might have never seen otherwise, and one of the co-creators of the outlet took time to reflect on its creation decades ago. The first segment of the night had Jericho invite Eddie Kingston out to the ring and eventually shake his hand for the loss he suffered on Sunday at Revolution. The members of 2.0 hit the ring and attacked both men, prompting Santana & Ortiz to run out and make the save with a baseball bat....

Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T. is going up for auction, and you can be the proud owner of David Hasselhoff’s personal ride. The current top bid was $450,000 at the time of writing, but that will only climb as time moves forward. Knight Rider is a 1980s classic TV series that featured the actor solving crimes with his talking car. For years, people have wanted something like K.I.T.T. in their own cars. Now, that chance is here thanks to Live Auctioneers....

Dr. Stone’s original manga run might have come to an end earlier this year, but the series is already preparing for a special comeback later this Summer! Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s original manga series wrapped up its five year run with Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine earlier this Spring with 232 chapters under its belt. The series left some room for the potential future as Senku Ishigami and the Kingdom of Science advances further than ever, but it was a clear end to the long journey....

Photos from the set of Dungeons & Dragons have appeared online, giving fans their first glimpse of the upcoming fantasy film. The Chronicle newspaper has posted several photos from the Dungeons & Dragons film set, which arrived at Alnwick Castle this week for several days of shooting. While the photos don’t show any of the stars in costume, it did provide fans with a tantalizing tease of what the movie may look like....

The next Dungeons & Dragons book will be Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons, a new product focused on all things dragon-related. The new 224-page book will contain a large bestiary of new dragons and dragon-related creatures, including Fifth Edition statblocks for five types of gem dragons with psionic abilities and unconventional breath weapons as well as new Greatwyrms, which are even more powerful than Ancient Dragons and uses the Mythic monster rules introduced in Mythic Odyssey of Theros....

Edens Zero has confirmed its release date with the debut of its first teaser trailer! When Fairy Tail’s anime came to an end, fans had been wondering whether or not series creator Hiro Mashima’s newest work, Edens Zero, would be getting an anime adaptation of its own. This was confirmed to be the case last Fall when it was announced that not only would Edens Zero be getting an anime, but it would be making its debut some time in April 2021....

Ethan Hawke says that his Moon Knight character is inspired by David Koresh. The revelation came last night on Late Night with Seth Myers as they discussed the upcoming Disney+ series. His role in the MCU show has been tightly guarded since his casting was announced. Koresh was a cult leader who led the Branch Davidian cult before all of that got blown up by the federal government. But, some fans are wondering how this might forecast which Moon Knight villain he could be playing....
