Witchcraft and Bandai Namco have apparently delayed Digimon Survive once more with the new Digimon game now scheduled to be out at some point in 2022. The information about the latest delay comes from the most recent Toei Animation financial report which listed the game as a 2022 release. A more specific release date beyond some time next year was not given. Gintama’s creator hilariously referenced Neon Genesis Evangelion in a special comment for the anime’s final movie! Gintama will be bringing the massive anime franchise to an end with a final theatrical outing that will be adapting the final moments of the original manga with new material for the film. Series creator Hideaki Sorachi has been promoting the film with his trademark quirky humor, even going as far as to offer sketches of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s characters for the film’s release....

After an entire decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fighting with the Avengers in five big screen adventures, Clint Barton is finally getting his own story. Hawkeye, coming soon to Disney+, brings Jeremy Renner’s bowman out of the shadows and into the spotlight, pairing him with younger archer Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). The Avengers movies saw heroes fighting massive aliens and ultra-intelligent androids to save all of humankind. Hawkeye, on the other hand, operates more at Clint’s speed, exploring the deeper moments between all the world-ending threats....

Netflix is developing a movie based on Boom! Studios’ Irredeemable. In addition, the complimentary series Incorruptible will also be put into production as well. Netflix teams Kemp Powers with The Harder They Fall director Jeymes Samuel for Irredeemable. If there was a need for any more star power, Jay-Z himself, Shawn Carter, is also aboard as a producer with James Lassiter. People who might not be familiar with the graphic novel series should expect super hero intrigue....

Next week is a week for wrestling fans, as WrestleMania and NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver will both have massive two-night events. During tonight’s NXT much of the Stand & Deliver card was finalized, so aside from some random surprise we now know what will happen on each of the two nights, and trust us, both nights are loaded with big matchups. Between both nights all of NXT’s Championships will be defended except for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, though they were defended successfully tonight, with Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon retaining....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is poised to kick off its new season next week, and ahead of Season 13’s release, Krafton shared the patch notes to show off everything that’s changing. Within those notes are details about changes coming to the Sanhock and Taego maps, the latter being the map introduced last season that’s sticking around again for Season 13. The update in question will first arrive on the PC platform on August 4th before it comes to consoles, too, on August 12th....

The long-running horror-themed soap opera Dark Shadows has lost another former cast member as actor Robert Rodan is reported to have passed away on Thursday, March 25 in Oregon at the age of 83. Dark Shadows News on Twitter and Deadline bring word of Rodan’s passing. On the long running series Rodan played the part of Adam aka the show’s Frankenstein-like character. He joined the series in 1968, appearing over 75 episodes as his character throughout the year, Rodan would later lend his voice in a Dark Shadows audio drama in the early 2000s....

After an entertainment landscape marked by delays in both release and production of new films in 2020, movie fans everywhere had a veritable feast of new movies in 2021. Things aren’t necessarily back to normal just yet, and quite a few movies have still been pushed back to next year, but 2021 gave us a lot to enjoy and be excited about in the world of film. Star Wars: The Mandalorian continues to win big at the Emmy Awards this year. After bringing home the Emmys for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup, Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour), and Outstanding Sound Mixing For a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour) at the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday night, the Disney+ series followed it up with another trio of wins on Sunday night as well. On Sunday, The Mandalorian brought home the Emmys for Outstanding Stunt Performance, Outstanding Stunt Coordination, and Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie....

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is off to a roaring start at the box office. The Sony sequel managed to snare $11.6 million on opening night as people just can’t get enough of Tom Hardy and his symbiote friend. Sony is actually predicting a weekend of $50 million, according to Exhibitor Relations, which would be great for the film. However, with opening night bringing in this kind of return it would be easy to see a number even more massive at the end of the weekend....

Vince McMahon took part in WWE’s quarterly investors’ conference call on Thursday and was asked to give his thoughts on All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan’s rising promotion based out of Jacksonville. The caller made a note of AEW’s “significant investments in their roster” (recent signings include Andrade El Idolo and Aleister Black while CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are both rumored to be arriving soon) as well their progress in viewership and the target demographic (AEW Dynamite once again broke one million viewers this week)....

On Nov. 21 tragedy struck the town of Waukesha, Wisconsin when alleged driver Darrell E. Brooks drove an SUV through the annual Christmas parade, killing six while injuring 62. Tommaso Ciampa, WWE star and the current NXT Champion, took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he would be auctioning off some exclusive merchandise in order to help the victims and their families. The Xbox Series X has reportedly picked up a huge exclusive, though it may not surprise anyone. It’s early in the life of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but so far the former is continuing where the PS4 left off and is trouncing the latter in exclusives. Right now, the Xbox Series X doesn’t have a single notable exclusive while the PS5 has Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Returnal, and soon Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart....

Earlier this month, American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy asked fans about what storylines they’d like to see explored in the future, presenting six potential narratives, with Murphy revealing the four that have gotten the most votes. Murphy didn’t explain what he might be doing with these suggestions, whether they could be part of an upcoming season of the series or potentially being explored in spinoff adventures, but seeing that the filmmaker is interested in knowing what his fans are most interested in will likely excite audiences, knowing that they could have a potential impact on future events in the frightening franchise....

Justice League fans are pumped because Aquaman and Arthur Curry are getting emojis ahead of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The account for the Snyder Cut posted the update today and it’s been a glorious Saturday for people who love the Atlantean king. Earlier today there was an Aquaman trailer put out by HBO Max to feed the fans. The hype is reaching a fever pitch with just a little time left before the premiere on the streaming service....

Attack on Titan has confirmed that Part 2 of the fourth and final season will be making its return in January! The final season of the series got off to a strange start as not only did the anime switch over to a completely new animation studio and staff for its final slate, but it began its premiere outside of the usual anime release schedules and kicked off last December. When it wrapped up its first cour of episodes earlier this year on a huge cliffhanger, it was also confirmed that a second part of the season would be coming our way in 2022....

Dan Levy’s mom is calling out his childhood bullies ahead of his Saturday Night Live hosting gig. It seems like the actor’s family is getting in on the act before things get rolling on NBC tonight. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train has been shattering box office records in both the East and the West, with the anime film recently taking the number one spot at the box office in North America over Warner Bros’ Mortal Kombat, but it seems as if a birthday celebration for the Flame Hashira, Rengoku, has been delayed as a result of COVID-19. With Japanese theaters being given a new manga chapter titled Rengoku Chapter 0, the upcoming celebration was set to give theatergoers a brand new set of cards depicting the powerful swordsman by the animation studio of Ufotable....

Last month, Fortnite saw the arrival of content based on Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it seems that more will be arriving in the near future! According to reliable Fortnite leaker @HYPEX, three NPCs will spawn at the game’s Daily Bugle location. One of those NPCs will be Mary Jane, who will be selling a web-shooter that can fire an infinite number of webs for the price of 400 Gold. @HYPEX speculates that the second of these is the Green Goblin, based on the glider animations that debuted with the Foundation this season....
