Yesterday saw the release of the Golden Globe nominations, and some of our favorite shows made the list, including Star Wars: The Mandalorian. The Disney+ series is up for Best Television Series - Drama against Lovecraft Country, The Crown, Ozark, and Ratched. Another nominee this year is Mark Ruffalo, who is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for playing Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in HBO’s I Know This Much Is True....

Stranger Things 4’s teaser trailer is finally here as Netflix gave fans what they’ve been asking for all year. The new clip says that things are going to get weird in 2022 as the Hawkins crew visits the upside down. As with the previous couple of seasons, everyone is looking just a bit older than before. (Of special mirth is Caleb McLaughlin’s new hi-top fade haircut showing the passage of time....

James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is out now and features a vast cast of characters. The movie opens with Savant (Michael Rooker) in Belle Reve before Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) recruits him for Task Force X. Recently, Gunn has been answering some fan questions on social media and revealed how they filmed the fight scene between Peacemaker (John Cena) and Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) that was seen through Peacemaker’s helmet. This led to another fan asking about the opening shot of Savant, and Gunn shared that the moment wasn’t originally in his storyboards....

Treyarch and Activision detailed Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Season Four Reloaded update this week with some good news for those hunting for high killstreaks: Nukes are back in business. The breakdown of the update confirmed that the 30-kill Nuke killstreak will be brought to pretty much every Multiplayer game mode with the exception of just a few. Dropping Nukes won’t end the match like it did in games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but it will wipe all players when it’s called in....

Disney+ has announced a new original series for the streaming platform. On The Edge will follow the exploits of Free Solo subject Alex Honnold as he tries to climb some of the toughest terrain in Greenland. Plimsoll Productions is bringing the three-part original docs-series to life with National Geographic. Honnold has so many fans all over the world after those wild climbs of America’s biggest cliffs. More importantly, he founded the Honnold Foundation, which is a nonprofit fighting climate change with solar energy technology....

Though Demon Slayer: Mugen Train had a firm grip on the Japanese box office for months since it was released last year, the latest, and final, film of the Rebuild of Evangelion series is looking to topple the current number one film in the East with some serious profits in its first week of release. With Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon A Time having already broken records when it comes to its first day in terms of overall IMAX profits, it’s clear that the final adventure of Shinji Ikari and the warriors of NERV is a sought after film....

A new Gundam game is in the works from Bandai Namco Online with Gundam Evolution announced on Thursday. The Gundam game is described as a team-based, first-person shooter where players suit up in the Gundam Mobile Suits to do battle, and for those who are already interested from that description alone, you’ll be happy to know that it’s also free to play. A beta will be held soon to give some lucky people their first hands-on experience with the game, but it won’t be until 2022 that the game’s fully released for everyone else to play....

WWE’s YouTube channel released its latest Top 10 video on Sunday, breaking down the biggest crowd reactions in WrestleMania history. Plenty of the usual suspects were on there — Daniel Bryan’s win at WrestleMania XXX, Hogan vs. Rock at WrestleMania X8 and Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 35 took to the top three spots — but there was an entry from WrestleMania 33 that was noticeably absent. A Pokemon Go player caught an astounding 11,400 Pokemon in 24 hours during yesterday’s Community Day event. The player, who goes by “tarotirota” in the game and on social media, shared his accomplishment on Twitter. According to his Tweet, the hardest part of the whole thing was managing the number of Poke Balls necessary. After all, players only have so much item storage capacity, so keeping the number of balls needed on-hand would take a lot of management....

BlockBusted podcast saw an image of a bus advertisement showing the Statue of Liberty holding Captain America’s shield. It seems as though the local tourism board is billing Lady Liberty as the newest Avenger. But, what could this mean? There isn’t a definitive space in time where No Way Home is supposed to take place....

Marvel fans aren’t going to like the record that Thor: Love and Thunder just set. In a post by The Direct, they pointed out that the Chris Hemsworth feature will be the MCU movie with the least time from the initial trailer to the movie’s premiere. Previously, The Incredible Hulk was the record-holder with 93 days between the clip and a debut in theaters. But, at the time of writing, Love and Thunder had eclipsed that as there are just 92 days until the movie hits the big screen....

The Man of Steel and Oscar-winning Gladiator actor plays the Olympian god Zeus​, who will ride the lightning and feel the thunder in director Taika Waititi’s ’80s throwback sequel to Thor: Ragnarok.
