WWE announced another batch of releases on Wednesday comprised of Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Buddy Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett. That puts the total number of released Superstars in 2021 at 26, most of whom were cut in just the past two months. Andrew Zarian of The Mat Men Podcast, who has broken a number of big stories lately, reported in the latest episode of his podcast that, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like WWE is done cutting talent....

A reported leaked photo from the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania set appears to reveal an alternate logo for the upcoming Marvel Studios sequel. The new movie, reuniting size-shifting superhero duo Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) with returning director Peyton Reed, will return to the Quantum Realm after the Multiversal madness unleashed in Disney+ series Loki. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Ant-Man threequel reveals time-traveling adversary Kang the Conqueror (Loki’s Jonathan Majors), potentially explaining the bizarre translation of the “Quantumania” logo in the leaked photo....

Archer’s Season 12 finale paid tribute to Jessica Walter after the actress’s death earlier this year. Her time as Malory Archer was beloved by fans as the long-running sitcom completed another season of espionage hijinks. Also notable was her role as Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development. Before her passing, she finished recording for Archer Season 12. It wouldn’t be a finale of this show if there weren’t some heartfelt sentiment smashed between the one-liners and explosions....

British horror actress Barbara Shelley has died after being diagnosed with COVID-19. The actress, born Barbara Kowin, was 88 years old. Shelley was best known for appearing in Hammer horror movies. Thomas Bovington, Shelley’s agent, tells the Press Association, “She really was Hammer’s number one leading lady and the technicolour queen of Hammer. On screen she could be quietly evil. She goes from statuesque beauty to just animalistic wildness.” She acted opposite Christopher Lee in 1966’s Dracula: Prince of Darkness....

Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman and its sequel, 1992’s Batman Returns, are seminal works of superhero cinema leaving an indelible mark on Batman’s mythology. The original film can rightly be regarded as one of the earliest dominoes to fall in the sequence of cinematic releases that would lead to today’s glut of superhero films. Both films also laid the groundwork for Batman: The Animated Series, which many still regard as the definitive Batman....

Last October, a group of Fallout 76 fans on Facebook calling themselves the “Free States Militia” were banned from the social media program, after seemingly being mistaken for a real-life militia. It appears that once again the problem has reared its ugly head, as the group’s Twitter account has revealed that it is dealing with a similar suspension on Facebook. This time around, the group cannot post on the social media platform until February 7th....

Not only were fans excited about Home Depot bringing back the skeleton for 2021, but they also confirmed they were releasing the all-new “Inferno Pumpkin” variant, and for those who want to get into the spooky spirit year-round, they are also selling outfits that allow owners to dress up their skeletons as a witch, a scarecrow, or as Santa Claus....

It seems like every TV show that gets cancelled earlier than expected sees a fan campaign to save it appear online, as TV-lovers everywhere are hoping to use social media to keep their favorite shows on the air. Most of the time, these campaigns don’t really work, as only a select handful of cancelled shows have been “saved” by a network or streaming service. Manifest feels different, though. The mystery series was cancelled by NBC after three seasons, just after its first two seasons were released on Netflix....

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has released an adorable new visual for Season 2! The fan favorite anime first made its debut back in 2017, and has since gone on to massive success with fans. Now after a long wait due to tragic events for Kyoto Animation and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the anime will finally be returning for its second season later this year as part of the Summer 2021 anime season....

Last year, the world of Ghostbusters was expanded upon by bringing together the old generation and the new via Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and it seems that the film, which has yet to arrive in Japan, has gotten a unique crossover with the supernatural series known as Shaman King. With the anime franchise recently receiving a new rebooted series thanks to Netflix, it seems that the cast will have a hand in the upcoming ghost-busting film and have created a special collaboration to get fans in the spirit of the movie....

The CW has released a synopsis for “Magical Thinking”, the fourteenth episode of Supergirl’s sixth and final season. The episode is set to air on Tuesday, October 5th. Since returning from the Phantom Zone, the Super Friends have found themselves dealing with not only some personal challenges but a threat like none they’ve ever dealt with before in Nyxly (Peta Sergeant), a Fifth Dimensional Imp that is determined to not only get revenge on Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) for what she sees as betrayal in leaving her in the Phantom Zone but also in assembling seven magic stones to grant herself unlimited power, power she needs to get vengeance on her father, King Brppx....

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the biggest games on Nintendo Switch, so it should come as little surprise that the game is getting another new statue from First 4 Figures. This time around, the company is offering a PVC take on Revali, the winged Champion from the Rito tribe. Pre-orders are now available for the statue, and it will retail for $124.99. After a thrilling opening segment between LA Knight, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler, it was finally time for the main event match between Knight and Ziggler for the NXT Championship. They locked up pretty much immediately, and then Knight just ran over Ziggler with a shoulder tackle. They locked up again and spun around as they both attempted to lock in a hold and then Ziggler kicked Knight and sent him into the corner....

Recently, two of the platform’s biggest streamers – xQc and Valkyrae – have come out with opinions on the trend, and the pair of takes are vastly different. All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per-view of 2021, Revolution, was originally scheduled for Feb. 27 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. But Dave Meltzer is now reporting via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the show has been moved to March 7, making it AEW’s first event to take place on a Sunday. The move was reportedly made in order to avoid going head-to-head with a boxing pay-per-view headlined by Canelo Alvarez on Feb....

Marvel fans were in shock earlier this week when it was revealed that Scarlett Johansson had filed a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company due to breach of contract in regards to the release of Black Widow, with her Avengers: Infinity War co-star Dave Bautista weighing in on the matter, joking that Marvel Studios should have given Drax a solo film instead of Natasha. Given that Johansson has been involved in the MCU for more than a decade, it came as a major surprise to fans to see the conflict with the studio, with Bautista’s comment sure to ignite more speculation among fans about whether he’s supporting his co-star or siding with the studio, potentially implying there wouldn’t have been a lawsuit if they made a Drax movie....

The Walt Disney Company has announced that Susan Arnold will succeed Bob Iger as chairman of the board at Disney. Iger, who has served as chairman of the board since 2012, will depart the role on December 31st (via The Wrap). It will mark the first time since 1996 that Disney has not had Iger in a senior operating role for the company. In a statement, Iger described Arnold as an “incredible esteemed executive” and said that she was the perfect choice for the role....
