There’s already been a lot of fanfare in the past few months surrounding Future State, the two-month-long comics event that is set to reinvigorate and help revolutionize the DC Comics universe. Even before a page of the event was officially published, fans have speculated and hoped about what the event could entail – especially when it comes to Yara Flor, the new character who will be taking on the mantle of Wonder Woman in the event....

Halo is coming to Paramount+ later this month, but fans of the Xbox series can see the first two episodes in theaters a few hours before the show’s official debut. The special screenings are part of a collaboration between Collider and the Alamo Drafthouse, which will host the event on March 23rd in Los Angeles, New York City, Denver, and Austin. After the two episodes, attendees will also be able to watch a Q&A with Halo’s cast and producers....

Horizon Forbidden West is out on PS4 and PS5, and it seems poised to be another sizeable success for Guerrilla Games and PlayStation. We don’t have any sale figures yet, but over on Metacritic the game has earned an impressive score of 88, and social media impressions suggest the Internet is enjoying the long-awaited sequel. That said, it’s not a perfect game. The game doesn’t have any game-breaking issues, but it does have some that are vexing players....

Disney+ just gave fans a look at Muppets Haunted Mansion before it debuts on the service. In the trailer, Gonzo takes on the challenge of staying an entire night in the iconic Disney destination. There are references to both the Muppets’ long history and to all four Haunted Mansion attractions at the various theme parks. A highlight of this clip has to be a ghostly version of Fozzie getting crushed by the usual crowd of hecklers as he tries to provide some dinner entertainment....

My Brother, My Brother & Me just announced that they will be changing their theme song after all this “Bean Dad” controversy. If you’ve been on Twitter today, you have seen all the “Bean Dad” discourse. John Roderick performed the theme tune for the popular program, and he decided to tweet about his experiences teaching his daughter. A long thread about trying to encourage his child to use a can opener to get some beans....

My Hero Academia and Inuyasha stars have joined the cast of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime! Jujutsu Kaisen might be nearing the end of its inaugural season, but the newest episode is still making time to plant seeds for the future with the addition of two new characters. The Kyoto Goodwill Event arc has reached the climax of its big fight as Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo are now fighting against the cursed spirit Hanami, but the newest episode throws a wrench into things by introducing both a new ally and new enemy during all of the chaos of the episode....

Netflix continues its march toward anime streaming supremacy with new series, Yasuke, which will be premiering on the platform on April 29th, with a new key visual giving us a better idea of the samurai action we can expect from the creator of Cannon Busters, LeSean Thomas. In the series, which takes a number of elements from real-life events, a retired samurai must pick up his sword once again to protect a village in a world that is filled with magic and mechs, with Atlanta star LaKeith Stanfield providing the voice of the titular ronin....

Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam event closed out with Brock Lesnar making his surprise return to the company and confronting Universal Champion Roman Reigns, prompting “The Tribal Chief” to retreat with Paul Heyman. Reigns then appeared on this week’s The Bump and was asked about that confrontation. Reigns dismissed Lesnar as being any kind of legitimate threat to his title reign, saying (h/t WrestleZone), “I think he wanted to get the best look possible at what’s going on here, the most dominant Universal Champion to ever do this thing....

Rapper Soulja Boy decided to take a shot at WWE seemingly out of nowhere on Sunday when he tweeted out “Rap game faker than WWE.” As you might expect, this got responses from a number of current and past WWE stars. Randy Orton fired back with the harshest tweet by writing, “Fake? Dare this prick to step up. He dont like movies? Consider us actors that do stunts, without pads 200 days a year and don’t b— when we get surgically repaired and come right back....

A new set video from Spider-Man: No Way Home confirms that one character from Spider-Man: Homecoming will be back. It looks like Coach Wilson is here for the next installment of the franchise. Hannibal Buress posted a video to his Instagram of the cast shooting some hoops on set, and fans quickly wanted to know what was going on. You can also spy Jacob Batalon and Zendaya in some of these photos from filming as well....

This Is Spinal Tap actor Tony Hendra has died at the age of 79. The news about the former National Lampoon editor was delivered by his wife to the New York Times. Cambridge University Footlights is where the comedian got his start in 1961 and 1962. Hendra appeared alongside John Cleese and Graham Chapman in some of those shows. But, in 1964 he made the choice to move to the United States and make a go of it here....

A first look at Tom Hanks’ new Apple TV+ film Finch has been released in the form of a photo image, which depicts Hanks’ character alongside two faithful companions: a pet dog and a robot helper. It’s an image that’s both intriguing on a sci-fi level and wholesomely heart-warming in the way you’d expect from a Tom Hanks dramatic role. Finch is being directed by Game of Thrones’ Miguel Sapochnik - and no doubt there are plenty of GoT fans who will see this first image and immediately have jokes about how well-lit it is, given Sapochnik’s controversial work on the HBO hit series....

Riot Games officially released Valorant Episode 2 earlier today, giving players a compelling new agent to choose from. However, Valorant’s latest update has a few more things to offer than just that, including tweaks to some of the game’s existing characters, such as Brimstone and Omen. It’s a little too soon to gauge how players are feeling about the game’s new update, but it will be interesting to see how fans react and adapt to these changes....

News broke back in December 2019 that NXT United Kingdom Champion Walter had his championship belt and passport stolen during a “smash and grab” while he was in Chicago. The entire Marvel Universe Canon is up for grabs in What If…? Comicbook.com’s Brandon Davis sat down with head writer A.C. Bradley and executive producer Brian Winderbaum for an exclusive interview.
