My Hero Academia has revealed a new original character coming in the third feature film, World Heroes’ Mission. Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia has quite a lot to celebrate this year as not only is the fifth season of the anime now airing new episodes each week, this Summer will see the release of the franchise’s third feature film in Japan. This new movie tasks Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo with a dangerous new mission that pulls in heroes from all over the world, and it will feature an original story and characters from Horikoshi himself....

In the new episode of Empire magazine, Warner Bros. has released a handful of new images from Matt Reeves’ upcoming superhero adaptation The Batman. Featuring Robert Pattinson in the title role and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, the film is set for a release in March, and centers on a young Batman trying to outwit The Riddler (Paul Dano) while dealing with his own rage issues following the death of his parents....

The tabletop roleplaying game publisher Paizo has announced several new products to kick off its annual PaizoCon. Today, publisher Erik Mona announced a few new Pathfinder and Starfinder books that will be released in the coming months during his keynote presentation at PaizoCon. The most notable of these is the upcoming Treasure Vault rulebook for Pathfinder, which will add a variety of new mundane, alchemical, and magical items, including fan-favorite items from Pathfinder 1E, a massive expansion of alchemical items for the alchemist class, and rules for making custom magical items....

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart developer Insomniac Games has released a new patch for the recently released video game that “improves general game stability and addresses some known issues.” The new version, 1.001.003, is available now, and while it does not sound like the beefiest update in the world, making an already stellar video game that much better is never frowned upon. Prior to this update, if “Enable 120 Hz Output” was set in the system settings, using the Performance RT or Performance mode would auto-detect a 120 Hz-capable display and use a 120 Hz output mode....

The popular strategy game Rome: Total War is getting a board game adaptation. PSC Games has announced plans to publish a board game adaptation of the popular PC video game that follows Rome’s military exploits over nearly two centuries. PSC will launch a Kickstarter to fund the project later this year. The board game will replicate many of the features of the original video game, including a balance between military maneuvering and economics....

Star Trek: Lower Decks, the first animated comedy set in the Star Trek universe, brings its second season to a close today. The season finale episode, “First First Contact,” brings back an unexpected Star Trek: The Next Generation character as the crew of the USS Cerritos must save an entire Starfleet starship from disaster. Among them is Lieutenant Commander Andarithio “Andy” Billups, voiced by Paul Scheer. Episodes from earlier in the season revealed that the chief engineer with a pleasant demeanor is royalty on his home planet....

WWE put out a press release on Wednesday confirming that it will be teaming up with Blockchain Creative Labs (an NFT business created by FOX Entertainment and Bento Box Entertainment) on a multi-year partnership for a new NFT marketplace centered around the sports entertainment company. The release read, “WWE (NYSE: WWE) and Blockchain Creative Labs, the new non-fungible token (NFT) business and creative studio formed by FOX Entertainment and Bento Box Entertainment, today announced an exclusive multi-year agreement to launch an NFT marketplace for licensed digital WWE tokens and collectibles....

Big E and Bobby Lashley saw their WWE Championship match thrown out at the start of this week’s Monday Night Raw when Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander suddenly reformed The Hurt Business, causing Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to run out and start a brawl that eventually spilled into the ring. Adam Pearce then ran out and said that the better man would be decided by the end of the night, but only by keeping everyone else away from the ring....

Zombie Land Saga has announced that its undead saga to reclaim Saga’s fame will be continuing with a new movie! Following the successful debut of this original anime series back in 2018, avex pictures returned for a much anticipated second season earlier this year as part of the Spring 2021 slate of anime releases. The second season unfortunately came to an end without any potential news of the anime’s return, but had dropped a major cliffhanger with the final seconds of its final episode....

Gal Gadot is ready to sing and dance as the Evil Queen. Disney’s live-action Snow White is coming up and people are excited to see the Wonder Woman star in a decidedly villainous role. Forbes spoke to Gadot about her time in London filming the project and what she’s looking forward to most with Snow White. After The Walt Disney Company absorbed 20th Century Fox you might think that Marvel Studios would have free reign to do anything they want with the characters that have appeared in their decades worth of comics, except for Spider-Man which is still over at Sony. The working title for Marvel’s Secret Invasion has reportedly been revealed. The announcement of the series was a big surprise on Disney’s Investor Day late last year. Now Charles Murphy of Murphy’s Multiverse has divulged that the series is operating under the working title Changeup Productions. This isn’t a strange occurrence for big-name productions as many of them operate under another title before a lot of the work is shown off....

James Gunn has been filming Peacemaker in Canada with John Cena, and the director recently teased on Twitter that “people have no idea what’s coming.” Fans are excited to see Cena star in the HBO Max series, which will be released sometime after he makes his debut in The Suicide Squad. Returnal is the latest PlayStation 5 exclusive to finally release on the next-gen console today, and for the most part, the game has been incredibly well-received by critics out of the gate. That being said, one lingering qualm that many have already brought up comes with how the game uses saves. Since Returnal is a roguelike, players are forced to restart from the beginning of the game every time they die....

The series finale of Supergirl aired Tuesday night on The CW and with the Super Friends in a final showdown against Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer), it’s to be expected that there were some casualties.
