One of the few that ultimately did not come to fruition was Green Arrow and the Canaries, which would have followed the ongoing adventures of Mia Queen / Green Arrow (Katherine McNamara), Laurel Lance / Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) and Dinah Drake / Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy)....

The English voice actor behind Yuta Okkotsu has shared their reaction to joining the Jujutsu Kaisen anime cast for the new Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie! First hitting theaters in Japan last December, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has already gone on to all sorts of success and broken records. Now that it’s making its international debut next month starting with theaters in North America, it’s gearing up for that success all over again....

Whoa: Keanu Reeves is revving up for a Ride With Norman Reedus. The John Wick and Point Break actor filmed an episode in (Johnny) Utah for the sixth season of Ride, AMC’s unscripted motorcycle travelogue series following The Walking Dead star and motorcycle enthusiast Norman Reedus on his travels around the world. In a photo posted to Instagram by Nic & Norman’s — the Senoia, Georgia restaurant co-owned by Greg Nicotero and the Daryl Dixon actor — Reedus and Reeves slowed down long enough to pose for a scenic peek at their upcoming episode of Ride With Norman Reedus Season 6....

League of Legends players who’ve been active in the game throughout the past week or so have had the chance to delve further into the Rise of the Sentinels event. Mark Ruffalo and Ryan Reynolds are best known for playing Marvel characters. Ruffalo has been the MCU’s Hulk/Bruce Banner since The Avengers was released in 2012, and Reynolds first played Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine way back in 2009 before revamping the character for the 2016 Deadpool film. Since the Disney and Fox merger, it’s been announced that Disney is moving ahead with a Deadpool 3, which means Deadpool could potentially share the screen with some MCU characters....

Marvel’s Avengers from developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix is set to release its next beefy expansion, Black Panther - War for Wakanda, in August, and as the name implies, it will introduce both the iconic Marvel superhero Black Panther and his home, Wakanda, to the title. While information about the upcoming release has been fairly limited, it is known that Black Panther will need to defend his homeland from the villain Klaw as the latter attempts to steal Vibranium....

Marvel’s Shang-Chi and Eternals movies are having their release dates in China called into question. That doubt stems from a report on China’s Movie Channel CCTV6, which did a feature on the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 slate of films. According to reports from those who saw the report, the CCTV6 discussed ten upcoming MCU projects - but did not mention either Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, or Eternals....

After testing out some changes in Minecraft’s Experimental Snapshots, Mojang has now released some new content in the first bit Snapshot of the game’s next update. This means new biomes and more are now available for players to test out in Snapshot 21W37A for those who are playing on the Java version in addition to some content added to the Bedrock edition. The fact that this content is being previewed in a Snapshot means it’s nearing release, so those interested in what’s to come will want to check out the preview of the content even if they don’t plan on testing it out themselves pre-release....

My Hero Academia has debuted the official anime designs for the big villains still to come in Season 5! The anime might currently be in the middle of a break, but once it returns it will continue making its way through a brand new arc where Izuku, Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo work under Endeavor, the number one hero. But while this Endeavor Agency arc is the main focus of the fifth season’s second cour for now, it won’t be the story the season ends on overall....

Multiple PlayStation insiders are teasing a really big acquisition from Sony in the near future. As it stands, the industry is in the age of acquisitions. Although these buyouts are not a new concept, the amount of them as of late has been rather overwhelming. Microsoft has been buying up big studios left and right, such as Bethesda and Activision, some of the largest teams in the industry. Earlier this year, Sony purchased Bungie, which is a smaller buy relative to Microsoft’s recent acquisitions, but still very notable....

The Walking Dead actor Andrew Lincoln is among the star-studded cast opening a Cabinet of Curiosities in the Netflix horror anthology series from Guillermo del Toro. The Rick Grimes actor, whose upcoming projects include the long-stalled Walking Dead Movie for AMC and Skybound, joins Essie Davis (The Babadook) and Hannah Galway (Sex/Life) in an episode written and directed by The Babadook filmmaker Jennifer Kent from a story by del Toro. The acclaimed filmmaker behind The Shape of Water and Pan’s Labyrinth hand-picked the talent for Cabinet of Curiosities, a “macabre mashup of genre-defining horror” previously known as Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight....

One surprising Chadwick Boseman movie is topping the streaming charts this week. When a lot of fans think of the beloved actor, they probably picture Black Panther. But, this week viewers are tuning in for 21 Bridges. According to FlixPatrol’s monitoring, the police drama sitting in the Top 10 on Netflix. This isn’t too surprising as a familiar concept combined with a fan favorite actor is usually a recipe for success....

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the slasher film Valentine, director Jamie Blanks will be taking to YouTube this weekend to take part in a live Q&A commentary. Blanks also noted that he hoped to have select members of the crew joining in on the conversation, which will be hosted on Pizowell’s YouTube channel. The original film hit theaters on February 2, 2001, so while the event won’t be on the official release date anniversary, it will be held on Valentine’s Day itself to keep in the spirit of the film....

WWE fans will recall the chaotic scene in the first hour of WrestleMania 37 Night One last week when, due to the thunderstorms in Tampa, the show was forced to take a roughly 30-minute rain delay after Vince McMahon’s introduction and Bebe Rexha’s rendition of “America The Beautiful.” The company chose to fill that time by cutting backstage to various wrestlers and having them deliver unscripted promos, leading to monologues from stars like Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, Shane McMahon, The New Day and Kevin Owens....

Batwoman has already covered quite a lot of ground in its second season, both through the introduction of Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie), and the further expansion of the show’s Gotham City mythos. In the first three episodes of the season, fans have seen that manifest in some epic Easter eggs and character introductions – and it looks like that will soon come to a head in a major way. The CW has released a new synopsis for “Gore on Canvas”, the fifth episode of Batwoman’s second season....

A lot of people didn’t make it out of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier alive. Spoilers for Episode 6 of the Disney+ series ahead. The Flag Smashers were the primary antagonists of the story, and their leader died in the final chapter of this story. Erin Kellyman played Karli Morgenthau and her ending was pretty sad. Over the course of the finale, she ends up killed by Sharon Carter in a bit to keep the Power Broker’s identity a secret....

Scarlet Witch had one major connection to Gargantos in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that everyone missed. In the commentary track for the film, producer Richie Palmer revealed that the creative team used Elizabeth Olsen’s eyes as a model. It’s a clever bit of foreshadowing that no one has talked about until now. Wanda Maximoff was revealed as the villain of the MCU movie very early in its runtime....

Paramount+ is getting that iCarly revival rolling this week. Production on the next version of the hit Nickelodeon series began today and fans are absolutely excited about the news. This new season will be 13 episodes long and take on what’s happened in the decade since the show ended. Carly Shay is trying to live life in her twenties, but as with real life, things are rarely that simple. While it’s great to see Miranda Cosgrove and the cast back together, there are some newcomers aboard as well....

Kingdom is hyping its big return for Season 3 with a new promo! Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom was one of the big series that was hardest hit by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While it had begun its run in Spring 2020, complications from the pandemic had a major impact on its release schedule. The series was delayed and put on an indefinite hiatus for a while, and later confirmed last Fall that the third season would be returning to screens in the Spring....
