McDonald’s is making a major change to their Happy Meal toys. In a statement issued by the brand, the company is shifting its manufacturing process to reduce plastic use in the coming years. They stated a goal to have sustainable Happy Meal toys by the end of 2025. McDonald’s would be adjusting a lot of how they source their plastic and how those little objects get made in the immediate future....

An Outlander prequel series is in development at Starz, a new report claims. It’s being reported that Outlander executive producer and showrunner Matthew B. Roberts will be the writer and EP of the prequel series and that a writer’s room is being formed to start scripting the series in the coming weeks. No plot details are being revealed at this early stage. Outlander creator Ronald D. Moore will also be attached to the prequel as an executive producer, alongside Maril Davis, with Sony Pictures Television handling the production....

Resident Evil Village features some of the most unique monster designs in the franchise, but Frankenstein’s Army director Richard Raaphorst doesn’t find them all that unique. In a post on LinkedIn, the director accused Capcom of stealing a creature design from his film “completely without authorization or credit.” The creature from his film has a propeller for a head, while the design from Resident Evil Village has three chainsaws in a similar design....

WandaVision’s latest episode includes a sly nod to The Office. During the theme song for their “show within a show” this time, there is a direct focus on the “modern” era of sitcoms and that takes the form of Modern Family for most of the episode. However, The Office’s theme song obviously inspires both the cadence and tone of the wildly popular show. There are more than four instances where characters look directly into the camera for comedic effect over the course of the episode and none of them hits quite as hard as Paul Bettany doing his best Jim impersonation in the car with Darcy....
