Also, the entire day has been one long victory lap for Warner Bros. accounts all over social media. Snyder has to feel pretty good about all the celebration of this film. It’s a definite moment of jubilation for anyone who was invested in the DCEU....

Rey Mysterion and Dominik Mysterio made history at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday night when the pair defeated The Dirty Dawgs in order to become the first father-son duo to win tag team championships in company history. Dominik, despite being attacked backstage by the champs during the kickoff show, managed to limp his way down and pick up the win by hitting a Frogsplash onto Robert Roode. Rey took to social media on Monday and posted a series of photos dedicated to his son growing up and following in his footsteps in the WWE....

Today’s Nintendo Direct presentation concluded with a reveal trailer for Splatoon 3, a new Nintendo Switch entry in the online multiplayer franchise. While the game won’t release until sometime next year, Nintendo has started to reveal information on Splatoon 3 that did not appear during today’s presentation. The game will take place in a new region known as the Splatlands. The desert area seems like it would be inhospitable to Inklings and Octolings, but both seem to thrive in the new city of Splatsville....

In case you somehow missed it, Square Enix and Embracer Group announced today that the two have entered into an agreement for Embracer Group to acquire Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montreal, Square Enix Montreal, and a bunch of intellectual property like Tomb Raider and Deus Ex. The deal for $300 million is expected to close somewhere between July and September 2022. Square Enix, for its part, has explained the purpose of the sale to Embracer Group as being down to a number of factors, but that it notably helps the company with “the launch of new businesses by moving forward with investments in fields including blockchain, AI, and the cloud....

Sword Art Online Progressive has revealed a new poster and cast addition for this next big movie in the Sword Art Online franchise! The anime reached a major conclusion with its massive third season, but that doesn’t mean the end of anime releases for the franchise overall. In fact it was confirmed following the third season that the anime will be continuing with a brand new feature film adapting the Sword Art Online: Progressive spin-off series that puts the events of the Aincrad arc under a microscope with a greater focus on Kirito and Asuna’s journeys through those floors....

Today Nickelodeon announced their full list of nominations, and The Boss Sasha Banks and King Xavier Woods find themselves in the mix for the Favorite Female and Male Sports Star categories. Banks is nominated alongside Candace Parker, Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams, and more, while Woods is nominated alongside LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Tom Brady....

Andy Serkis’ long-gestating adaptation of Animal Farm is one step closer to being a reality. On Tuesday, it was announced that Serkis will be directing the long-awaited animated adaptation of George Orwell’s novel for Aniventure and The Imagiarium, with production currently underway at Cinesite. The film will be written by Nicholas Stoller (Storks, Captain Underpants), and will be produced by Adam Nagle (Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank), Dave Rosenbaum (Hitpig) and Imaginarium’s Jonathan Cavendish (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle)....

Attack on Titan’s final chapter is selling out magazines all over Japan! After a nearly twelve year run, series creator Hajime Isayama officially brought Attack on Titan to an end with the latest issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. This is already a huge deal for a number of reasons, but now the manga’s success is pushing the magazine to a new milestone. The magazine featuring the final chapter of the series is now selling out across stores in Japan, and has been such a success that the magazine will be doing something pretty rare....

Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin carried out its most recent flight with its New Shepard space craft on Saturday and the latest mission paid tribute to Star Trek icon Leonard Nimoy as part of the flight. On the flight with the passengers aboard Blue Origin New Shepard Mission NS-19 was a token of Nimoy’s memory in the form of a silver pendant with the initials of Spock’s phrase “Live long and prosper” engraved on it....

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Ranked Play overseers Treyarch Studios recently updated the mode’s Skill Rating gains and losses with heavier penalties now levied against those who quit games often, but that’s not all the developer did. In addition to taking a harsher stance on future quitters, Treyarch also penalized those who were labeled prolific quitters prior to the latest Ranked Play update. For one particularly egregious quitter who left close to 300 Ranked Play games before their completion since the mode was available, Treyarch issued a substantial penalty by taking away 2,000 Skill Rating points....

Singer-songwriter Rita Ora has joined the cast of Disney+’s live-action Beauty and the Beast prequel series. Hot on the heels of the release of Fear Street Part 1: 1994, the follow-up film Fear Street Part 2: 1978 has the difficult task of not only continuing the groundwork of what came before it, but also of traveling to an earlier point in time in the mythos of Shadyside to help elucidate the overall storyline, as well as craft its own unique narrative. While the debut film could have easily only minimally set the stage for the directions of the trilogy, filmmaker Leigh Janiak clearly didn’t want to take the easy way out and went above and beyond what was necessary for a definite first part in a series, though this sophomore installment doesn’t quite as successfully navigate the ambitious narrative threads while also delivering a compelling standalone adventure....
