The tenth anniversary of Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World happened just months ago and the film is already scheduled to return to movie theaters. Ahead of the film’s new Dolby rerelease Wright has revealed that a cast and crew reunion will take place live tomorrow on Twitter including himself and stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Mark Webber, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, and Satya Bhabha, plus co-screenwriter Michael Bacall and creator of the comic series Bryan Lee O’Malley....

As 2021 comes to an end, it’s safe to say Marvel Studios dominated the year’s content. MCU fans were treated to five Disney+ shows and four feature films, and it doesn’t look like they’re slowing down. The next movie on the studio’s line-up is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is expected to be released in May. Based on the trailer, it looks like the hero will be dealing with the aftermath of his spell-gone-wrong in Spider-Man: No Way Home....

One of Dragon Ball’s classic manga covers has gotten a cool new makeover from the creator behind Spy x Family! Akira Toriyama’s original manga franchise continues to be one of the most popular action series running today, and it’s such a big deal that Shueisha has actually begun celebrating its next monumental anniversary years before the anniversary actually kicks in. Dragon Ball’s manga will officially be 40 years old in 2024, and Shueisha has begun slowly honoring the series’ massive milestone with a new collaboration featuring many of the creators in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine....

Studio MAPPA has made a name for itself as an animation studio by producing some major names within the world of anime, including the likes of Attack On Titan’s final season, Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of High School, and Yasuke to name a few, but it is looking to enter its bloodied tale to date with the arrival of its Chainsaw Man adaptation. The young hero finally admitted to the rest of the Justice Society of America that she killed Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) during the team’s showdown with the Injustice Society only to realize that she’s the only member of the team who is truly capable of killing. But the challenges didn’t stop there for Yolanda, who soon discovered that Brainwave might not be as “gone” as she thought he was....

Jarod Nandin, who was known by fans as “The South Park Guy” cosplayer has died due to COVID-19. As reported by Wowhead, Nandin, who was known by the World of Warcraft community as NWBZPWNR, has passed away after contracting COVID-19. Nandin revealed his initial condition with friends and family on Twitter on December 18th, and after officially testing positive a few days later, he unfortunately passed. Nandin is known by many in the World of Warcraft community for faithfully recreating one of the most notorious jokes in South Park history....

The Snyder Cut of Justice League has been out into the world for several weeks now, and fans have been relishing in all of the new moments from the four-hour epic. Kevin Smith’s latest project, Clerks III, may be a deeply emotional and very personal achievement for the filmmaker as he goes back, as it were, to the film that jump-started his career, 1994’s Clerks, but fans concerned that the threequel will be Smith’s final film can breathe a sigh of relief. A new kind of miniature is coming to Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Earlier this week, Atomic Mass Games announced a new “Nick Fury & S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents” Character Pack. The new pack introduces a brand new affiliation to the game – S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as a new kind of miniature. While Nick Fury Jr. appears to be a “normal” character for Marvel: Crisis Protocol, the character pack also introduces a trio of generic S....

Moon Knight came to an end last week on Disney+ after the finale featured an epic battle between the gods Khonshu and Ammit. However, for many, the fan-favorite Egyptian god of the series was Taweret, the adorable hippo who helps Marc Spector and Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac) and eventually chooses Layla (May Calamawy) as her avatar. In ancient Egyptian mythology, Taweret was the goddess of pregnancy and fertility, but in Moon Knight, she guides souls as they transition into the afterlife....

Naruto fans are still reeling from the latest episode Boruto’s anime. (WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS Follow!) That’s because episode 218 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ anime marks a major character’s death: Kurama, the Nine-Tails beast that has been bonded to Naruto since the beginning of the franchise in 1999. In a tragic twist, it was Kurama who sacrificed himself to spare Naruto’s life, after the pair unlocked the power of their new Baryon Mode form in order to fight Isshiki Otsutsuki....

Peacock has reached a new milestone as they count 28 million monthly active accounts in the United States alone. There are 13 million paid subscribers according to a Q1 earnings call on Thursday. Comcast is happy with the streamer’s efforts in the early days of the show. NBCU’s Jeff Shell had a lot to reflect on during the call. Peacock has found a way to leverage legacy content into positive growth....

Record of Ragnarok has revealed new cast additions and poster for its upcoming anime debut! Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and illustrator Ajichika’s original Coamix Monthly Comic Zenon series has been rapidly picking up steam among manga fans for the grandiose nature of its battles and that fervor is sure to pick up with the debut of its official anime adaptation later this year. Shumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok takes several figures from various cultural mythos and puts them to battle against one another, and now its anime is taking shape with studio Graphinica....

If you’re a Resident Evil fan who’s played any of the recent games prior to Resident Evil Village, you likely heard that Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 were all coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Cody Rhodes opened this week’s Monday Night Raw with a promo celebrating his victory over Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell, but roughly 20 mintues later he was knocked out with his torn pec likely in even worse shape. World Trigger has confirmed its release date for Season 3 of the anime with a cool new trailer! Following the massive 70 plus episode order for its debut season, there had been a few years of waiting before Daisuke Ashihara’s original action series came back for its much anticipated second season. Although the second season (which had made its debut during the Winter 2021 anime schedule earlier this year) was nowhere near as long as the first, one of the big announcements was that a third was planned for a quick return during the Fall 2021 schedule....
