That celebration will take the form of a Block Party set in KO City with an event schedule set up for that including things like Twitch streams, cosmetics, and more. According to a new GTA 6 rumor, the map of the next Grand Theft Auto game will span several different cities and regions, including both familiar and new locations. According to the rumor, players will return to both Vice City and Liberty City, the series’ fictional take on Miami and New York City. The rumor also claims Carcer City is back, which is never featured in GTA, but it is referenced and it is the setting of Manhunt, a different Rockstar Games series....

It’s “lucky” Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 couldn’t open in 2020 like originally planned, says returning writer-director James Gunn. The threequel, which Marvel Studios set for May 2023 with a title treatment reveal on Monday, was expected to release in 2020 on one of the dates the Disney-owned studio marked for that year: May 1, August 7, or November 6. In summer 2018, Gunn was fired by then-Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn over resurfaced offensive tweets; by March 2019, Gunn was reinstated as director and it was agreed Disney-Marvel would wait for Gunn to complete The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros....

AEW Dynamite: Beach Break opened this week with Sammy Guevara defeating Cody Rhodes in a Ladder Match to become the Undisputed TNT Champion. The pair battered each other with ladders for well over 20 minutes, including Rhodes hitting a CrossRhodes from the top of a ladder while Guevara was propped up on the other. After a brief interruption from Fuego Del Sol, Guevara nailed Cody with a Go To Hell outside the ring....

Wheel of Fortune star Pat Sajak welcomed new Jeopardy host Mike Richards to the world of game show hosting. Just this week the executive producer ended up selecting himself for the role of the man behind the podium. After some swift backlash, Jeopardy! reached a compromise. Mayim Bialik also would get some hosting duties in primetime specials and a possible spinoff show. Sony Pictures Television has been weathering the storm of this for almost a week now....

A new No. 1 contender for Kenny Omega’s AEW World Championship was crowned on this week’s AEW Dynamite as seven men battled in a Casino Ladder Match in the show’s main event. Hangman Page, who had been out of action since August while on paternity leave, made his surprise return as the “Joker” final entrant. He successfully nailed Pac with a Deadeye from atop a ladder through a table, took out Lance Archer with a Buckshot Lariat and stopped Jon Moxley from winning by punching him off the top of the ladder....

All Elite Wrestling officially introduced the TBS Championship during Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite. The title will be a part of the AEW Women’s Division and will celebrate AEW Dynamite’s upcoming move to the TBS network beginning in January. It was then confirmed that a tournament would be held to crown the first champion (similar to how Cody Rhodes became the first TNT Champion) and that Thunder Rosa, Skye Blue, Ruby Soho and Jade Cargill will all be involved in January....

AEW president Tony Khan has made numerous comments over the past week leading up to and following AEW Rampage’s ratings victory over Friday Night SmackDown in the 30 minutes the two shows ran head-to-head last week. E3 2021 organizer the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has finally announced the first significant details for this year’s all-virtual event. Taking place from June 12th through June 15th, E3 2021 will include press conferences and presentations from the likes of Xbox, Nintendo, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Capcom, and more. Given the currently available schedule, it seems like Sunday, June 13th, and Tuesday, June 15th, will be the busiest days respectively given that Xbox will happen on the former while Nintendo will happen on the latter....
