This year’s edition of DC’s Round Robin tournament is getting a major twist. The contest, which allows fans to vote via social media about which title they would like to see published as a miniseries, is currently in the middle of its rounds of voting, and fans have definitely had a lot of thoughts about what series come out on top. On Thursday, it was revealed that DC will be publishing six page short stories for four of the finalists that did not make it to Round 3 of voting — Ghost Tour From Hell, Hawkman & Hawkwoman: The Changeling, Kid Flash: The Speed of Fear, and Green Lantern: Birth of a Conspiracy....
Doctor Strange is reportedly coming to Fortnite. The Marvel hero made his big mainstream debut in 2016 with his first live-action appearance in the MCU. The character quickly became a fan-favorite thanks to his mind-bending powers and Benedict Cumberbatch’s charismatic performance. Doctor Strange has continued to grow in popularity following his appearances in the last two Avengers films and Spider-Man: No Way Home. To continue his hot streak, Marvel is releasing the Sam Raimi-directed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness this May and it seems like Marvel will once again utilize Fortnite as a marketing tool....
Ahead of the first round of the NFL Draft yesterday, The Walt Disney Company naturally flexed their brands having Marvel style covers created for some of the players expected to be taken among the first 32 picks. They weren’t the only one wearing their Marvel love though as one player did it literally. Former Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts last night with the 21st pick and Paye sported a Black Panther inspired suit just for the occasion....
A star from the upcoming Moon Knight series has died after a ski accident. Gaspard Ulliel was said to be in serious condition according to ABC News. The French actor was riding along in the Alps when he suffered an accident on the slopes. Savoie’s prosecutor’s office say that the incident occurred in the Rosiere ski area. Ulliel was reported to have a skull injury. France Bleu claims that he collided with another skier at a crossing point....
WWE’s Matt Camp released his latest injury report for the NXT roster this week, announcing that four wrestlers are dealing with injuries following this week’s episode. It was already confirmed during the show that Kyle O’Reilly would be out four-to-six weeks due to the Brainbuster on the steel steps he took from Adam Cole last week, but Camp also revealed that MSK’s Wes Lee suffered a broken hand after Zack Gibson smashed it with a chair backstage....

Following the release of a new Halo Infinite update earlier this week, 343 Industries has now pushed out a new hotfix for the game as well. This hotfix is much smaller in scope when compared to a normal update, but it does rectify a handful of issues that have continued to linger in the latest Halo installment. Last night, James Gunn joined some of the cast of Peacemaker for a watch party of the HBO Max show’s fourth episode, “The Choad Less Traveled.” During the online event, Gunn shared some fun stories about creating the series, including the fact that he asked his friend Elizabeth Banks to verify whether or not Freddie Stroma was an “as*hole” before agreeing to cast him. Thankfully, Banks vouched for the Harry Potter alum, who now plays Adrian Chase, the sociopathic costumed killer known as Vigilante....
Next month, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will release on Nintendo Switch, offering a number of differences from the game that originally released on DS. While The Pokemon Company has already highlighted a number of changes players can expect to see from the original, a new trailer released today put a big emphasis on two of the Sinnoh region’s Gym Leaders: Candice and Volkner. The Gym Leaders from the cities of Snowpoint and Sunyshore respectively, Candice and Volkner look similar to their appearances in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, but with some small updates that reflect the strength of the Switch platform....
The official Star Trek convention experience is heading to Chicago in 2022. ReedPop and ViacomCBS announced on First Contact Day that they would launch Star Trek: Mission Chicago in April 2022. The event will be ReedPop’s first as the new official convention partner of the Star Trek franchise. The three-day event is a co-production of ReedPop and ViacomCBS Consumer Products and takes place at McCormick Place. Per the announcement, Star Trek: Mission Chicago will feature celebrity guests, interactive exhibits, exclusive merchandise, photo opportunities, costume exhibits, autograph sessions, gameplay, and other special surprises all set within the ever-evolving and expansive Star Trek Universe and offering fans the chance “to boldly explore” the past, present, and future of the franchise while embracing the ideals of diversity and inclusivity that remain at the center of Gene Roddenberry’s beloved creation....
One way to close out Star Wars Day 2021 is with an unlikely cosplay photo. Amblin took to their social media account to reveal an amazing photo of company founder Steven Spielberg in a Darth Vader costume. Frankly it’s unclear if this is one of the actual Vader costumes that Lucasfilm may have had laying around, because it looks authentic even if Steven can’t quite fit in it well. The Irregular at Magic High School has debuted the first teaser for its brand new spin-off anime series! Tsutomu Sato’s original light novel series is currently in the midst of celebrating its milestone tenth anniversary, and part of this celebration is an expansion of the franchise into new anime projects. Not only is the main series returning for a new anime project (which has yet to confirm whether or not it’s a new season) taking on the Reincarnation arc of the original light novel series, but a new anime adapting the Miyuki Shiba focused series will be coming our way soon as well....
