On August 31st, developer Motive Studios will offer an early look at the upcoming Dead Space remake! The livestream will air on Twitch starting at 10 a.m. PT, and will offer footage of an early prototype for the game. In a press release, Motive noted that this build is “not final in any capacity,” instead offering some insight into the upcoming project and the studio’s vision for the game. Senior producer Philippe Ducharme and creative director Roman Campos-Oriola will both be on-hand to showcase the footage and discuss the project....

Destiny 2 is finally set to begin Season 14–also known as Season of the Splicer–tomorrow on May 11. Prior to the start of this new season of content, however, Bungie is preparing to roll out the major new update that will accompany the seasonal shift. As you might expect, the update contains quite a few changes to the base game and should make things quite interesting in the coming months....

A deleted tweet by a Disney executive may have leaked when EPCOT’s highly anticipated new ride. Earlier today, Disney Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Geoff Morrell posted a seemingly innocent tweet about test riding the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, which is set to open sometime this year. However, a previous version of the tweet that Morrell deleted may have spoiled when the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride will open at EPCOT....

Disneyland wants fans to know, the Dole Whip is coming back when the park reopens later this month. A lot of people have been waiting for their chance to get back into the Disney park and this month will provide them an opportunity. The company confirmed that the beloved frozen treat will be making its return when the gates open on the 30th. When Disney opened up reservations for Disneyland resort earlier this week, there were reports of people waiting more than 8 hours to get into he system....

The directors of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves seemingly showed off a first look at their upcoming movie, which shows what appears to be an iconic Dungeons & Dragons locale. Yesterday, directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley revealed the title of their upcoming Dungeons & Dragons movie during a D&D Direct presentation. While the news focused on the title of the movie itself - Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves - the duo also had what appeared to be an easter egg for fans on the monitor behind them during their announcement....

The Night of the Moth update is now live in all versions of Fallout 76, and it looks like a pretty significant one! Players have the new Mothman Equinox seasonal event to participate in, with Mothman Cult themed rewards to acquire. The event lasts until December 21st, so players should have plenty of time to take part. Today marks the beginning of Season 7: Zorbo’s Revenge, as well. Last but not least, today’s update features a slew of bug fixes and quality of life improvements that should make for a better overall experience....

Godzilla vs. Kong is riding high on Rotten Tomatoes with a certified fresh rating on the aggregate site. 217 reviews are in and the movie is sitting at 80%. That’s nothing to sneeze at with multiple big projects over the last year having trouble reaching those heights. Warner Bros. decided to make these massive movies release on the same day at home and in theaters. That decision continues to pay off for their studio....

Godzilla vs. Kong has taken the top spot for its opening weekend at the Japanese box office! Following a delay due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the fourth film in the MonsterVerse has finally made its way to Japan. While it might not be the end of the MonsterVerse overall as initially thought as Legendary has already expressed interest in continuing this universe further with new projects, but it will likely be the final time we see both Godzilla and Kong share the screen....

James Gunn is currently one of the busiest names in the comic book movie/tv business. Not only did he start working on DC’s Peacemaker as soon as he finished with The Suicide Squad, but he also has big plans to return to Marvel to helm Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Disney+ has officially ordered a third season for its fan-favorite original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, from Disney Branded Television. Created and executive-produced by Tim Federle, season three will follow the Wildcats as they leave the hallways of East High for the ultimate summer at sleepaway camp, complete with campfires, summer romances and curfew-less nights. According to Disney’s announcement, production for the third season will relocate from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles and begin later this year....

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord has confirmed the release date for Season 2 with a new key visual! The first season of the anime adaptation taking on Yukiya Murasaki and Takahiro Tsurusaki’s original light novel series was such a success that fans have been waiting quite a while to see what was next for Diablo and his party. It was confirmed late last year that the new season of the series, officially titled How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Omega, would be hitting in the Spring....

Marvel Studios has dozens of projects in development at any given time, and most fans expected to see at least nine or 10 projects released from the Burbank-based outfit this year. A petition to have Johnny Depp return as Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is gaining new traction with fans. The petition (titled “Justice For Johnny Depp”) set a goal of reaching 500,000 signatures; at the time of writing this, it has gotten over 430,000 signatures. The petition was started two years ago by Kimberly Giles, but it’s clear that the pop-culture focus on Depp’s current trial against ex-wife Amber Heard is sparking an entire new wave of support for Giles’ rally cry of support for Depp....

Pokemon Unite has revealed its next playable Pokemon. Pokemon Unite announced that Tsareena, a Grass-type Pokemon best known for its variety of brutal kicks with her stalk-like legs, will be coming to the game on December 9th. What’s more – Tsareena will be part of a new limited-time campaign in which players earn Tsareena’s Unite License for free just by logging in on multiple days. Snapchat’s popular crying filter is not a reference to Amber Heard according to the company. TMZ received confirmation that this is all just one big misunderstanding from Snap. A representative from the company clarified that the crying filter serves as a companion piece to the big smiling AR filter that recently debuted on the social media platform. Users quickly speculated that the filter was in response to Heard’s testimony during the Johnny Depp trial....

Niantic recently held another Pokemon Go event where Trainers were able to take part in the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto festivities and have a shot at catching some rare Pokemon throughout a day in February. This limited-time event required players to purchase a ticket to make the most of the occasion, but like some of the Pokemon Go events held prior to the Kanto Tour, some issues were encountered.
