Brad Venable, a prolific video game and anime voice actor that has appeared in series like Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Call of Duty, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Shenmue, Attack on Titan, and One Piece, has died at the age of 43. Decades after the book series first debuted, Netflix finally delivered audiences a trilogy of Fear Street films starting earlier this month, which found ways to pay respects not only to the sprawling book franchise from author R.L. Fortnite’s latest superstar concert is finally a go. On Sunday, the popular Epic Games battle royale confirmed that pop musician Ariana Grande will be performing a virtual concert within the world of the game, which will air five shows across the weekend of August 6th through August 8th. The concert, which will be part of what Epic is dubbing the “Rift Tour”, will also offer fans with certain themed quests and rewards to unlock....

Isaac actually revealed that the team name did in fact mean something to him. Starting tomorrow, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will get a chance to check out a new full-game trial. This time around, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is the one taking the spotlight! As with previous trials, this one will last one week, starting January 13th at 10 a.m. PT and running through January 20th at 11:59 p.m. PT. The entire game is available to subscribers during that period, and save data can be transferred to the full version, should players decide to purchase it after the trial ends....
Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games has been steadily offering more updates for the horror title, and the latest patch should bring about some welcome changes! Most notably, the new update has changed the range of the game’s Parabolic Microphones. Previously, the microphones had a range of eight meters and a width of two meters. Those have now been increased to 10 and three, respectively. In perhaps an even more welcome change, Kinetic Games has also fixed a bug where ghosts could target and kill players outside!...

It’s been over a year since the sequel to Train to Busan, Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula debuted and while filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho currently has a new series, Hellbound, that just debuted on Netflix it seems like a third Train to Busan film isn’t entirely of his mind. Sang-ho told Variety that he has some ideas for a third film in the series and while he did note that there are a lot of projects he’s currently working on, the zombie action series is one he’d like to continue....

Star Trek star William Shatner’s trip into space aboard one of the Blue Origin rockets has been delayed. On Sunday, Blue Origin announced that the flight, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 12, has been delayed to Wednesday, October 13 due to anticipated wind conditions. The flight is set to take off from the Blue Origin Launch Site One in Texas at 8:30 a.m. on the new date. “Due to forecasted winds on Tuesday, October 12, Blue Origin’s mission operations team has made the decision to delay the launch of NS-18 and is now targeting Wednesday, October 13,” a statement from a Blue Origin spokeswoman read (via Variety)....

Critical Role is losing one of its longtime party members. The studio has announced that Brian W. Foster, the host of the companion show Talks Machina and several other shows produced by Critical Role, has left the studio to “embark on some wild new creative endeavors.” Critical Role announced the news on its social media, which was then subsequently confirmed on Twitter by Foster himself.
