DC fans got a big treat yesterday when James Gunn finally released the first official trailer for The Suicide Squad as well as some sweet character posters. It was finally revealed that Rocky and Rambo legend, Sylvester Stallone, is the voice of King Shark in the movie. Previously, it was only known that Steve Agee was the on-set reference for the character, and there were many guesses as to who was voicing the role....

The seventh episode of WandaVision is now available on Disney+ and it was a big one! Not only was there a big reveal about who is really pulling the strings in Westview, but there were also some new Marvel easter eggs. One moment in the episode, “Breaking the Fourth Wall,” that has people talking is the commercial. Each commercial break so far has seemed to tie in with Wanda Maximoff’s (Elizabeth Olsen) trauma in some way and the latest really hit the nail on the head by being an ad for antidepressants....

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman is getting an NFT tribute in this year’s Oscar Nominee gift bags. 3D artist Andre Oshea got commissioned to make the artwork for the festivities. The Colon Cancer Foundation is selling the NFT to raise money for their cause. Boseman is actually up for Best Lead Actor for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. A lot of people think that he stands a great chance of winning after his tragic death....

Sebastian Stan decided to give fans a look at Bucky and Sam as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier hit Disney+. People are excited to have Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes back in their lives with the show. It seems as though Stan and his co-star Anthony Mackie are absolutely loving all this time together as well. After Zack Snyder’s Justice League hit HBO Max last month, one person involved with the film who has gotten the most love from fans is Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg. Gintama’s creator secretly cameos in the anime’s final film! Following the end of the original series’ manga run in 2019, Gintama has returned for the final outing of its anime franchise. Adapting the final moments of the original series with new material specifically for the film, Gintama: The Final is a new feature film now making its way through theaters in Japan. As revealed by the franchise’ official Twitter account, it turns out that creator Hideaki Sorachi actually has a secret cameo in the film just as how he’s popped up in the anime series in the past....

65-year-old actress Lisa Banes, known for her work in Gone Girl and Cocktail, has sadly died following injuries she sustained in a hit-and-run accident. Banes was visiting New York City for the first time since the pandemic began, working on a theater production and visiting the Juliard School, her alma mater. The actress was crossing Amsterdam Avenue when she was struck by someone riding a scooter or motorcycle, and was placed in intensive care at Mount Sinai Morningside with a traumatic brain injury....

Storied superhero artist John Romita Jr. is returning to Marvel Comics. Marvel announced the news on Wednesday, marking the end of Romita’s tenure at DC Comics and move back to the publisher he worked for decades prior on titles including Daredevil, The Amazing Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Uncanny X-Men. His work will begin appearing in Marvel releases again in July (which, perhaps coincidentally, is when the Extreme Carnage event, which has no artist named to it, begins)....

Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin’s podcast Fat Man Beyond returned this week after a hiatus due to the filming of Clerks III and the new episode gave the hosts a chance to catch up on sharing their thoughts about all sorts of entertainment and pop culture moments from recent weeks that they hadn’t yet had a chance to talk about. Among those items was James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and Smith not only said that he loved the movie, but declared that the movie “ruled” as well....

After several teases on social media, Marvel has announced a new volume of Savage Avengers, featuring an all-new, all-different team of heroes. Savage Avengers also has an all-new creative team, with Ringo Award-winning writer David Pepose (Spencer & Locke, Scout’s Honor) making his Marvel Comics debut alongside artist Carlos Magno (Kang the Conqueror, RoboCop: Dead or Alive). The new lineup consists of Conan, Daredevil (Elektra), Anti-Venom, Black Knight, Cloak & Dagger, and Weapon H, and the series follows them as they’re being chased by an evil Deathlok....

Marvel’s Avengers continues to bring new costumes from the comics into the game, and the latest to get a look pulled straight from the books is the Iron Avenger Iron Man. Stark’s latest suit is his Mark II Prometheum Armor, which first appeared in Iron Man Volume 2 #1. The armor is one of the more stylistically-unique armors in Stark’s collection, as despite having the traditional red and gold colors the armor has a very distinct helmet, two huge exhaust pipes on the back of the chest piece....
