The makers of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance has announced they’ve pushed a fix for a persistent issue involving players suddenly disconnecting from their group. Earlier today, Tuque Games announced that they had deployed a fix to reduce the number of group disconnects experienced by players. This was one of the more persistent bugs that plagued players during the first day, with some players reporting that they couldn’t complete a run on multiplayer due to repeated disconnects with the server....

Wizards of the Coast is looking to use the Dungeons & Dragons game system for outside brands and IPs. During yesterday’s quarterly investors report, Wizards of the Coast president Cynthia Williams spoke about plans to expand Dungeons & Dragons into other worlds, with the newly acquired D&D Beyond acting as a hub for these new tie-ins. Speaking about future plans involving Magic: The Gathering, Williams spoke about the expansion of that game’s Universes Beyond program, which focuses on crossovers with other IPs....

Midnight Mass was released this weekend and it marks the third Netflix limited series from horror director Mike Flanagan. The new show is already “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes with a 94% critics score and a 70% audience score. ComicBook.com’s own Charlie Ridgely gave the show a 5 out of 5 and called it Flanagan’s “career-best work.” Flanagan is known for working with a lot of the same actors, so you’ll recognize some Midnight Mass stars from The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor....

The latest film in the Shonen series My Hero Academia, World Heroes Mission, has been the most profitable film of the franchise released in Japanese theaters to date, and while we still don’t have an official release date for when this latest adventure of Class 1-A will hit North America, the movie is continuing to release new information and images from the battle against Humarize. With the film seeing Deku framed for mass murder, it seems that he won’t just have to battle against all-new villains, but also against public perception which sees him as a criminal....

Pokemon Journeys has taken Ash Ketchum to a whole new level with his latest win in the newest episode of the series! Ash has been tearing his way up through the ranks of the World Coronation Series with each episode of the newest iteration of the anime so far, and most recently brought Ash up to the highest ranking within the Ultra Class tier. This brought him his next and only opportunity to try and make his way up into the top eight trainers within the Master Class with the newest episode of the series, and it resulted in a fierce battle with the eighth ranked trainer, Raihan....

While last week’s edition of Monday Night Raw did see a couple of surprise returns, the show was overall panned by critics for not living up to the usual hype surrounding the first Raw after WrestleMania. A report came out later in the week via Fightful Select that the brand was “just short-handed in general,” partially because some of the wrestlers were banged up following WrestleMania 37 weekend while others were showing COVID-19 symptoms and had been taken off the show as a precaution....

The Blacklist creator Jon Bokenkamp is Exiting series following the season 8 finale. As part of a lengthy statement to fans posted on Twitter, Bokenkamp states “Dear Blacklisters: I wanted to write you directly to let you know that I’ve made the difficult decision to leave ‘The Blacklist.’ I love this show with all of my heart, and it’s been an incredible journey, but after eight years I feel it’s time for me to step out of my comfort zone, try something new and explore a few of the other characters and stories that have been crawling around in my head....

We’ve known for some time that the plan has been for a few months to begin production on The Boys season three in the early part of 2021. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the series was forced to delay filming, and delay even further as the cast returns to Toronto and undergoes mandatory two-week quarantines, but cameras are about to start rolling. Series creator/showrunner Eric Kripke took to Twitter to talk about a panel he’s speaking on this weekend and in doing so confirmed that production on the series begins sometime next week....

Eternals has a CinemaScore and it’s the lowest for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor was the previous record holder with a B+. However, this is a curious moment where some of these numbers aren’t adding up. Eternals might have this distinction along with the constant chatter about its Rotten Tomatoes score. But, it’s also cruising toward the chance at the best International box office of the year for Marvel. Pair that with the fact that its opening in the United States has been strong when compared with other releases and it’s a bit confusing to cut through the noise....

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams talked about her experience working on the new Warner Bros. fighting game, MultiVersus. Nickelodeon Animation has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at the character posters for Monster High: The Movie, which will premiere on Nickelodeon and stream on Paramount + this fall. Based on the beloved toy line from Mattel, Monster High: The Movie follows Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris, Just Beyond), who was born half human and half werewolf, after she arrives at her new school, Monster High. She quickly makes friends with her classmates Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot, Dispatches from Elsewhere) and Draculaura (Nayah Damasen, Grey’s Anatomy), and for the first time in her life, Clawdeen feels like she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret....

The next Assassin’s Creed game is reportedly further away than we thought. A recent report relayed word that a new Assassin’s Creed game is releasing before Assassin’s Creed Infinity. According to the report, the game is going to be a traditional Assassin’s Creed game, which is to say, not a live-service game like Assassin’s Creed Infinity. It’s also not going to be like the most recent installments in the franchise or, more specifically, like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Assassin’s Creed Origins, which is to say, a bloated open-world injected with action-RPG elements....

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s 11.0.0 update is now live on Nintendo Switch, adding the game’s latest DLC fighter, Pyra/Mythra. The two Xenoblade Chronicles 2 characters represent the fourth addition to the Fighter’s Pass Vol. 2 DLC, leaving just two spots left in the game for additional fighters. Now that the update is live, Nintendo has released official patch notes for version 11.0.0, and it seems that there are a number of changes that players can expect in addition to the new fighter and stage....
