On Sunday, news broke that Friends actor James Michael Tyler had died. Co-creator of The Matrix franchise Lilly Wachowski has taken to social media to announce that her Showtime original comedy series Work in Progress, co-created with and starring Abby McEnany as a “45-year-old self-identified fat, queer dyke,” has been cancelled by the premium cable network. Wachowski revealed that she learned the series wouldn’t be returning in November after the show had wrapped up its second season. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has once again been running its Make March Matter campaign, an annual fundraising event in support of children’s health and their organization to raise money to benefit sick and critically injured children. This year’s event looks a little different than others due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s still raising money and bringing smiles to all the kids in need. American Jesus is risen at Netflix. Creator Mark Millar’s Millarworld announced Monday filming has started on the latest comic book adaptation from Netflix, behind Millar’s Jupiter’s Legacy and the in-development Supercrooks and The Magic Order. The official Twitter account for the Kick-Ass and Kingsman creator announced the start of production in Mexico with director Everardo Gout (The Forever Purge, Luke Cage), who serves as co-showrunner with Leopoldo Gout (Instinct, Molly’s Game)....

Peacock has released a trailer for the third Psych movie, Psych 3: This is Gus as well as revealed the release date for the film. It was announced at New York Comic Con on Saturday that Psych 3: This is Gus will premiere on the streaming network on Thursday, November 18th. The film is the sequel to 2020’s Psych 2: Lassie Come Home which itself was a sequel to 2017’s Psych: The Movie all of which are based on the USA Network series Psych that ran from 2006 until 2014....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players who’ve been looking for something new to try out can now test a much different sort of game mode called “Zone Tag.” Instead of solely taking out players and trying to survive until the later stages of the match, Zone Tag involves taking and maintaining possession of a ball while keeping yourself safe from others. The mode is playable now for the next few days on the PC platform through the PUBG Labs feature and will be playable on consoles starting on February 23rd....

Static Shock’s movie just got a big spotlight at DC FanDome. Last year’s edition actually surprised a lot of fans by announcing a brand new project featuring the character. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is coming to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo announced on Wednesday during the company’s Indie World Showcase. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game from Dotemu and Tribute Games was nestled among the other indies featured during the event with a gameplay trailer released alongside the news to introduce people to the game if you missed the initial announcement from last month. The game still doesn’t have a set release date, but it’s supposed to come to the Nintendo Switch, other consoles, and the PC platform at some point this year....

Terry Crews is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he isn’t appearing in a Marvel Studios movie. Instead, Disney Parks announced that the Brooklyn 99 actor will appear in the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride, which opens next month at EPCOT at Walt Disney World resort. You can take a first look at Crews, who will play Centurion Tal Marik, a close advisor to Nova Prime (played by Glenn Close, who is reprising her role from the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie) below....

Paramount+ has rolled out the first trailer for The Real World Homecoming. In case you missed it, MTV is getting the band back together after 30 years. All the original cast members from the New York season are back, meaning fans get to see what Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, Eric Nies, and Kevin Powell have been doing all these years since. Last week saw the MCU star looking very casual on the set of Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania.
