The Teen Titans are undeniably a unique part of the DC Comics mythos, with their more lighthearted adventures currently being showcased on Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans GO!. The series takes a strong approach to characterizing its core team of characters — and a new graphic from the network’s official social media account takes things a step further. Cartoon Network recently sorted some of the characters of Teen Titans GO! — particularly Raven (Tara Strong), Cyborg (Khary Payton), and Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) — sorted into the Hogwarts houses of the Harry Potter universe, in celebration of the latter movie franchise’s twentieth anniversary....

Ubisoft’s XDefiant is making a significant change to its name. Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s XDefiant to mixed reception in 2021, some felt it didn’t separate itself from other shooters on the market like Call of Duty and others thought that the Tom Clancy branding was inappropriate for the less self-serious tone of the game. Given late author Tom Clancy made his name by writing stories about espionage, tactical teams of soldiers, and more, XDefiant came off as a strange way to invoke his name....

Mechagodzlla is looking a bit different in Godzilla vs. Kong, and the VFX Supervisor on the film revealed a cool detail about the evil version of the Kaiju legend. You can’t see it in the film, but there is increased articulation on all those tiny joints on the machine. That means more room to hide weapons before squaring off with Godzilla and Kong. ScreenRant talked to VFX supervisor Bryan Harota about the menacing robot design....

Loki’s Richard E. Grant reflected on his acting journey with some humor this weekend. The Classic Loki actor has been working on his craft for a long time. On Twitter, the star explained how his father approached the profession, saying he would be in “makeup and tights” for the rest of his life. A new Lord of the Rings board game is coming soon, which recreates one of the most iconic fights from Fellowship of the Ring. Games Workshop, best known as the publisher of Warhammer 40,000, recently announced Battle in Balin’s Tomb, a skirmish board game for two or more players. The game is being released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Fellowship of the Ring, the first in Peter Jackson’s Academy Award-winning trilogy of movies....

When The Suicide Squad finally debuts in theaters and on HBO Max next week, it will bring a number of unexpected DC Comics characters onto the big screen, including Idris Elba’s Robert DuBois/Bloodsport. The very nature of who Elba was playing in the blockbuster film was shrouded in quite a lot of secrecy, leading to theories that Elba could be playing everyone from Bronze Tiger to Vigilante to Deadshot, the latter of whom previously appeared in 2016’s Suicide Squad played by Will Smith....

The kids are all right — and alive! Former The Walking Dead stars Sarah Wayne Callies and Chandler Riggs, who played Lori and Carl Grimes, reunited to pose for a Grimes family photo with Judith Grimes actress Cailey Fleming. “The kids are all right,” Callies captioned the now-viral photo posted to Twitter. After their first family photo snapped aboard a Walking Dead convention cruise in 2019, the Grimes clan reunited over the weekend for a panel at the Fandemic Tour Atlanta convention....

WWE and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America announced on Wednesday that the pair have signed a new multi-year partnership in order to support the “Be a STAR” bullying prevention program. The press release for the announcement read, “The ‘Be a STAR’ program provides students the tools they need to drive effective learning, decision making, creativity, relationships and mental health. Since 2011, ‘Be a STAR’ bullying prevention rallies, resources and programs have reached more than 500,000 children globally....

When WWE initially announced its 2022 pay-per-view schedule, this year’s Money in the Bank was slated for Saturday, July 2, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. However, the UFC confirmed on Saturday night that its annual International Fight Week would be held in Vegas from June 27 through July 3, which includes UFC 276 at T-Mobile Arena on that Saturday running at the same time as Money in the Bank. WWE has yet to confirm whether or not they’ll move the show, though Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noted WWE also has that Sunday (July 3) on hold just in case....

The Perfect Dark reboot might be one of the most highly-anticipated games on Xbox, but very little information has been revealed about the game over the last few months. Last September, it was announced that Crystal Dynamics would be joining The Initiative in co-developing the game. Reliable Xbox leaker @Shpeshal_Nick previously reported that Perfect Dark could be released as a “Games as a Service” title, or that the single-player campaign could be broken up into individual episodes....

Filming has been underway on Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and DC fans have gradually gotten glimpses at the upcoming blockbuster. On Monday, director David F. Sandberg delivered a surprising new look at the film, with an official photo showcasing the entire Shazam! family clad in their updated costumes. Detroit finally finished their giant RoboCop statue after 10 years of work. The Metro Times caught up with Brandon Walley and Jerry Paffendorf to talk about the project they began in 2011. The story goes that some Detroit resident told the city’s mayor, Dave Bing, that they needed a RoboCop statue. From there, the duo crowdfunded an effort to build the monument and raised $17,000 in just three days. Fred Barton Productions helped with a design of the character and then the delays hit....
