Osvaldo Trejo, a voice actor who has lent his talents to series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Dragon Ball Super, and many other series and video games, has passed at 32. Announced on May 6th, Trejo had been originally hospitalized for COVID-19 in April, succumbing to the virus that has torn its way across the world for over a year. Having breathed life into the likes of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sukuna, Dragon Ball Super’s Auta Magetta, Attack On Titan’s Reiss Fritz, Genya in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and more, Trejo also lent his talents to video games including Overwatch and Detroit Become Human to name a few....

Yesterday, fans of The Walking Dead got some bad news when it was announced that Melissa McBride had exited the planned spinoff series focusing on Carol and Daryl, the characters played by McBride and Norman Reedus. Now, the show will focus solely on Daryl. It was said the decision to drop Carol from the spinoff was “purely creative,” but it lead to fans attacking Reedus online. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan on the show, called out some fans for their behavior....

The CW’s Arrowverse of shows have been going through some surprising changes as of late, particularly amid the cancellations of both Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow. The decisions, which were announced late last month, meant that both shows would not be coming back for the 2022-2023 season, despite being fan-favorites and wrapping their previous seasons in pretty ambiguous ways earlier this year. In the time since Batwoman’s cancellation, fans have taken to social media to campaign for the show possibly being saved, either by The CW itself or by the HBO Max streaming service....

Bradley James Allan, Australian stuntman, stunt coordinator, and actor has died at the age of 48. Allan was a famous member of Hollywood’s stuntwork world, having been a member of Jackie Chan’s stunt team for years; he is also the supervising stunt coordinator and second-unit director on Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the martial arts action epic hitting theaters in September. Jackie Chan shared the news of Bradley James Allan’s passing on his personal website, stating that “A fourth generation JC Stunt team member, Bradley James Allan, also passed away from illness…....

It was just over a year ago that actress Cameron Diaz, star of fan-favorite films like Shrek, Charlie’s Angels, The Mask, and more, revealed she had no intentions of returning to acting. Funny how things change. The Hollywood Reporter now brings word that Diaz will star in Back in Action, a new Netflix movie that reunites her with her Annie and Any Given Sunday co-star Jamie Foxx. Foxx made the announcement on social media with an audio recording between he and Diaz and none other than Tom Brady....

CM Punk was a guest on the Wrestling Perspective podcast recently and shared a hilarious story involving legendary comedian Robin Williams and Lars Frederiksen, lead singer of the band Rancid. Doom Patrol is back for its third season with the first three episodes now streaming on HBO Max and with a new season comes new challenges for the team of heroes both in terms of villains and more personal challenges for the characters. Even before Season 3’s debut, fans knew that the mysterious Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez) was coming, as well the Sisterhood of Dada, an alien named Garguax (Stephen Murphy) and the Brotherhood of Evil - complete with Monsieur Mallah - would be part of the landscape of the new season....

Hilary Duff and her co-stars are going to keep the CBS sequel running with 20 more episodes. Mario Golf: Super Rush version 2.0.0 is now live, adding a hefty amount of new content to the Nintendo Switch game! Officially revealed earlier today, the content update includes a new golfer in the form of Toadette, as well as a new course based on New Donk City from Super Mario Odyssey. Ranked Match mode will also be included. All in all, this seems like a nice bonus for those that picked up the game earlier this summer, and it should encourage players to stick with the title!...

The upcoming Marvel tabletop roleplaying game will give players the option of playing as an existing Marvel superhero or as a character they create themselves. Last week, Marvel announced that it would release Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game, a new tabletop roleplaying game set in the Marvel Universe. A playtest will be released next year with a full release planned for 2023. The writer of Marvel Multiverse, Matt Forbeck, posted a blogpost about the upcoming game, clarifying a few details about the game....

Pokemon Sword and Shield on Nintendo Switch introduced a number of exciting new Pokemon to the series, and soon, Pokemon Go fans will have the chance to find some of them in the mobile game! Pokemon Go developer Niantic announced today that several Pokemon first introduced in the Galar region will be added, including Skowvet, Wooloo, and Falinks which will now be found in the wild. Players will also be able to find these Pokemon thanks to Field Research Tasks from PokeStops....

Individual investors woke up to an unwelcome surprise as the popular trading app Robinhood restricted stock purchases of several “meme stocks” related to the surprise rally around GameStop. The trading platform Robinhood, a commission-free stock platform popular with casual stock traders, restricted trades of several stocks this morning, including GameStop, AMC, Nokia, and Naked Brand Group, Ltd. The platform provided no immediate explanation for halting their clients from buying the stocks, but it does follow on the heels of other major trading platforms, such as TD Ameritrade, placing restrictions on the same stocks....

A new PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds update has arrived on the PC test servers for players to try out before it goes live on that platform and comes to consoles at a later date. The update in question adds two new explosive weapons, the Mortar and the M79 launchers. The former shoots out explosive shells to hit enemies at great distances while the latter shoots smoke grenades instead to obscure the vision of all those affected by it....
