The Suicide Squad is being review-bombed and James Gunn decided to respond to the practice on Twitter. The process of lowering a film’s score on Rotten Tomatoes, or lowering a rating on Metacritic has become commonplace in fan reactions for a variety of reasons. It seems the latest DC Comics movie is the latest project to find itself in that situation. Gunn was quick not to assign blame when asked by a fan on Twitter about what’s going on....

Tony Khan promised a big free agent signing and reveal on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, and as those who tuned in learned, he more than delivered, revealing that Keith Lee is now All Elite. Lee had an impressive debut match against Kassidy of Private Party, but he wasn’t the only surprise, as New Japan’s Jay White also showed up during the show, helping out Adam Cole a bit before walking away. Khan took to Twitter after the episode to talk a bit about his original Forbidden Door tease and when they knew White would be involved, as well as how hearing fan feedback affected their plans....

WarnerMedia’s CEO thinks that change is coming to streaming no matter who might not like it. Jason Kilar spoke to the New York Times about HBO Max’s performance during the pandemic. During this period, Warner Bros’ streaming service has been a massive winner. There were people who wondered if HBO properties along with TCM and Cartoon Network offerings would be able to claw out their foothold. Over the last year and change, viewers have been delighted by both the quality and variety of their catalog....

The Suicide Squad’s Nathan Fillion had some time to dance on the set of the DC Comics film. James Gunn tweeted some fun footage of the actor getting down on his Twitter account. The Detachable Kid was a bit serious in the HBO Max smash hit, so it’s nice to see Fillion cutting loose here. As with most of the director’s films, the cast seemed to be absolutely loving their time on these sets....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness collaborated on the Darkhold design with WandaVision’s crew according to Marvel Studios’ prop master. Comicbook.com’s Phase Zero podcast had Russell Bobbitt on to talk about his time with the MCU. The prop guru has been with the company since the beginning of their run. When the time came to integrate the tome of forbidden knowledge into their universe, Bobbitt reached out to the other team on Multiverse of Madness for a hand....

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Unified Impact World Champion Rich Swann will clash in a Title vs. Title match at Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view on April 24. Omega hasn’t been on Impact Wrestling since he and The Good Brothers beat Swann, Moose and Chris Sabin in a six-man tag match at January’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view, but the Nashville-based promotion confirmed on Thursday that “The Cleaner” will be on next Tuesday’s (March 23) episode....

Loki Episode 3 actually includes a sly Portal Easter Egg. For those not aware, Portal is a puzzle video game created by Valve in 2007. The kind of dimensional hopping shenanigans in Loki pair quite well with that adventure from The Orange Box. Much has been made of our protagonist tumbling through the decidedly rectangular portals from the TVA. But, the credits for the episode show that this universe’s riff on instantaneous travel is a bit more drastic than the one from the late aughts....

New details and even some screenshots from a new Silent Hill game have reportedly leaked. There have been rumors of a new Silent Hill game for nearly a decade, largely because we came really close to one shortly after the PlayStation 4 was released. Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima was working on a brand new Silent Hill game and even released a playable teaser under the name “PT”. At the time, no one knew what it was beyond a free horror game on the PS4....

Pokemon is teasing Palkia and Dialga’s return to the anime franchise with the announcement of a new special episode! While fans outside of Japan are currently waiting to check out the next iteration of the series, Pokemon Master Journeys, with Netflix, the series is still airing new episodes in Japan on a weekly basis. Over the course of four seasons, the character Janine has become a fan-favorite figure on The Handmaid’s Tale, as she has not only proven her resiliency in the face of horrendous abuse and trauma, but actor Madeline Brewer has also managed to convey the experiences in which Janine has a harder time keeping her composure, becoming one of the most relatable components of the unsettling narrative. Of course, Elisabeth Moss’ performance in the Hulu series is another selling point of that series, which she is also demonstrating in the new Apple TV+ horror series Shining Girls....

West Side Story has an official trailer for the Steven Spielberg film. 20th Century Studios unveiled the new look today in anticipation of the holiday release. Fans got a glimpse of the movie during the 93rd Academy Awards, but there is a whole lot more footage to comb through this morning. Spielberg is taking on the iconic 1961 film and the beloved musical as well with this remake. A love story at heart, teenagers Tony (played by Ansel Elgort) and Maria (Rachel Zegler) fall for each other despite being affiliated with rival street gangs....

The CW has released the synopsis for “Hope for Tomorrow”, the fifteenth episode of Supergirl’s sixth and final season. Since returning from the Phantom Zone, Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) has been dealing with the threat of Nyxly (Peta Sergeant), a Fifth Dimensional Imp who is determined to gather magical totems that she needs in order to grant herself unlimited power, a power that she plans to use to get vengeance on those who have wronged her....

The past two years has brought some monumental things, particularly within the realm of fandom and Internet culture. To an extent, nothing made the Internet explode quite like the final season of Supernatural, with fans having a wide array of reactions to the final episodes — and particularly to the dynamic between Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins). The first significant details for the upcoming The Fairly OddParents live-action series on Paramount+ have been revealed as both the cast of the show and the synopsis for it have been released. The new live-action series was first announced earlier this year for the streaming service and was reportedly set to begin filming at the end of June. Nickelodeon has now confirmed that production has officially started. There had been some speculation that the new live-action series might closely follow the plot of the original Nickelodeon cartoon, but the synopsis indicates that the show will be going in an entirely different direction given that the show picks up years after the end of the original series and will follow Timmy Turner’s cousin, Vivian “Viv” Turner, and her new stepbrother, Roy Ragland, after the two of them are entrusted with Timmy’s fairy godparents, Wanda and Cosmo....

Universal Orlando Resort is raising their starting pay to $15 an hour. The announcement comes on the heels of increased calls for better wages across all types of service industry jobs. Pay bumps will apply to workers at both full-time and part-time status beginning June 27th. Universal is stepping out as the first resort in the wildly popular area of central Florida, Walt Disney World is implementing it’s own base pay increase set to take hold in October 2021 as well....

AEW Dynamite: St. Patrick’s Day Slam returns this Wednesday at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. The show is headlined by a pair of title matches, one of which takes place inside a Steel Cage, along with the continuation of a few storylines from the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. The main event will see Dr. Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The pair clashed at Revolution with Baker winning thanks to heavy interference from Rebel and Jamie Hayter....

The CW has released a preview for “Summer School: Chapter Eight”, the eighth episode of DC’s Stargirl’s second season. The episode is set to air on Tuesday, September 28th. This week, Yolanda Montez/Wildcat’s (Yvette Monreal) guilt finally became too much to bear, prompting her to not only admit to her teammates that she killed Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) but also walk away from the JSA entirely. In the upcoming episode, it will be Rick Tyler’s (Cameron Gellman) turn to open up about his own secret - that he’s been looking out for Solomon Grundy, but from the looks of things, that’s about to go sideways very quickly....

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord has revealed details for its new opening and ending themes for Season 2! Following the successful debut of the anime’s first season back in 2018, the anime adaptation of Yukiya Murasaki and Takahiro Tsurusaki’s original light novel series is making its big return for a second season this Spring.
