Evil is preparing to rise from the grave once again. After a trilogy, a reboot, and a wild TV series, the Evil Dead franchise is on its way back to screens in 2022. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players who have the game on PlayStation and Xbox consoles just recently got an update that made some helpful updates to the game’s inventory system. While PC players benefit from the point-and-click method of managing inventories, console players occasionally find themselves taking a few more steps to get things exactly as they want them when moving around attachments and other items. The changes made to the console version’s inventory system should help alleviate some of those frustrations that come with it by adding shortcuts like a “Quick Pick-Up” feature among other changes....
Facepunch Studios has released a new update for Rust, and players should be pretty happy with the results. The developer revealed that the game’s January 7th update will add new Twitch drops, a Blueprint wipe, server save backups, increased server capacity, and more. Additionally, the update includes a number of fixes, changes to the game’s weather patterns, and the disabling of the Christmas event. While some of these additions won’t be terribly exciting for players, they should be helpful for the overall game, and make for a better experience....

A truck carrying 100 monkeys crashed and some of them are now on the loose in Pennsylvania. The Associated Press reported that state police is searching for at least three of the primates that managed to get free. A dump truck collided with the truck carrying the animals Friday in Montour County. LG debuted a rollable phone teaser and a transparent TV at the CES 2021 virtual experience. The manufacturer has been angling for this kind of technology for years. DC Comics is making Static Shock: Rebirth of the Cool available to read for free on DC Universe Infinite. All fans would have to do is register and they can read the first issue without paying a penny. Static has only become more popular over time. Just last year at DC FanDome, the company announced a big initiative to get Milestone Media back rolling. Any plans to bring back those iconic characters had to have Static front and center....
Bethesda put up some new Fallout 76 content this week for players to test that comes from the game’s next big update: Steel Reign. Pokemon Sword and Shield is set to unleash another wave of bans on players, which will also impact their ability to access Pokemon Home. The Pokemon Company has announced that they will be banning players who engage in “troublesome behavior” that either impairs the function of Pokemon Sword and Shield or cause problems for others. The ban notice states that those users found to be using altered data or engaging in troublesome behavior may receive penalties that include the restriction of online play in Pokemon Sword and Shield, the restriction of trading features in the mobile version of Pokemon Home, and the suspension of both the Nintendo Switch version and mobile version of Pokemon Home....
Star Trek star William Shatner will be heading to space with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket. TMZ reports that the actor will be heading into the stars aboard the New Shepard capsule. If he follows through, he would be the oldest person launched into space. It’s being billed as a 15-minute civilian flight. So, the same as last time the Blue Origin crew managed to get into the lower atmosphere. There’s also talk of the Star Strek actor filming a documentary of some kind with the hopes to sell it to some sort of distributor....
