Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball has been one of the most successful franchises to ever come out of the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and thus the publisher is gearing up to celebrate the manga’s next major milestone in an appropriately huge way. With the manga reaching its milestone 40th Anniversary in a couple of years, the publisher is getting off the ground early in terms of celebrating it by tapping into their roster of prominent manga creators and artists....

Dragon Ball Super is teasing Granolah’s new form post-wish! Dragon Ball Super’s Granolah the Survivor arc is now moving full speed ahead after introducing the mysterious Granolah as a fighter with ties to the Saiyans’ destructive past. The series had previously teased that fans would soon be introduced to the “strongest warrior in the universe,” and upon the cliffhanger from the previous chapter, we learn that this warrior will potentially be Granolah himself as he made a wish on a new set of Dragon Balls to become the strongest warrior....

Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno’s Shin Kamen Rider has revealed the first two very important cast additions for the new movie! While the franchise has yet to get much worldwide recognition outside of a dedicated cult following, Toei’s Kamen Rider is an incredibly popular Tokusatsu franchise in Japan. The franchise will be celebrating its monumental 50th Anniversary in a number of cool ways that include a new anime series, a reboot series taking on the popular Kamen Rider Black iteration, and most prominently, a movie reboot written, directed, and produced by Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno....

When it comes to DC content, HBO Max is filled with exciting content. The streaming service’s newest show is Peacemaker, which dropped its first three episodes earlier this week. The new series is a spin-off of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and follows John Cena in the titular role. Currently, the show is up on Rotten Tomatoes with a 94% critics score and an 86% audience score. ComicBook.com’s own Jenna Anderson gave the series a 4 out of 5 and called it an “action-packed, profane, and bizarre story that perfectly suits its protagonists....

Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner confirmed that the Disney+ series takes cues from the comics. A lot has been made of the influence Matt Fraction and David Aja’s run with Clint Barton had on this show. Renner himself explained how the Hawkeye comics come into play on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. The Avenger said, “We use the comics a lot as a basis for the look and format of the show....

Zack Snyder’s Justice League star Ray Fisher is reminding fans that the job is not yet done when it comes to holding those accountable for the film’s troubled and controversial production. In a new tweet, Fisher states that “Folks will be anxious to let Kevin Tsujihara and Joss Whedon take the fall for everything to do with Justice League. Both have been publicly disgraced and make for easy targets. Please don’t be fooled....

Marvel’s Eternals crossed $300 million at the global box office. The movie continues to rack up those ticket sales across the world, and the movies have basically roared back in recent months. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Venom both helped open the door. No Time To Die continues to absolutely crush across the board as well. Earlier this year, F9 and Godzilla vs Kong helped prime audiences for theaters again too....

Mickie James was released by the WWE back on April 15, and on Wednesday she spoke out on all of the frustrations she had with the company on her Grown Ass Women podcast. The six-time Women’s Champion was originally brought back to the company in 2016, but was used increasingly less as time went on. She described how after she tore her ACL she was slowly being pushed into retirement or a backstage agent role, but repeatedly pushed against it....

Among Us is adding an anti-Imposter task in the game’s next update that’ll stop the Imposters from using vents, if only for a little while. The task itself does so by making Crewmates clean out the vents which would naturally expose and remove any Imposter who was hiding inside of the maps’ innerworkings. The update in question that’s adding this task is scheduled to release on July 7th alongside some bug fixes to resolve a bunch of different problems players have been experiencing....

Riverdale’s sixth season is underway with the series two episodes deep into its five-episode “Rivervale” event and as for what those two episodes have delivered to fans, to say things have been wild would be an understatement. The season premiere saw the death of Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) as part of some strange ritual while the second episode saw Toni Topaz (Vanessa Morgan) become the new La Llorona, trading places with the entity and entrusting the care of her baby son to Betty (Lili Reinhart)....

Ronda Rousey kicked off the main event segment of this week’s Monday Night Raw by running down both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, her two possible opponents at WrestleMania 38 thanks to her Royal Rumble win. She argued that “Rebecca” didn’t deserve her attention and that her stale Raw Women’s Championship reign wasn’t her problem. She then noted that if she challenged Flair it would bump Lynch down to the undercard....

Twitch has revealed that it will be testing a new form of advertisements called Stream Display Ads. Essentially, these will appear on-screen without stopping the stream, allowing viewers to continue seeing and hearing the streamer. This will be an optional feature that content creators can choose, and they will receive ad revenue for those that are shown during streams. All in all, this seems like it could be a very welcome way for streamers to offer ads in a way that doesn’t prove disruptive to the overall experience....

The new trailer for Yellowstone prequel 1883 has been released by Paramount+, and you can watch it below! 1883 stars iconic actor Sam Elliott (The Ranch) alongside country music power couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, with Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan at the helm, and stars like Billy Bob Thorton set to show up. It’s easy to see from this trailer why 1883 will not only be a successful extension of the already successful Yellowstone franchise but a potential huge breakout hit of its own....

When you hear the name “Ming-Na Wen,” there are many characters who might come to mind. Whether it’s voicing the animated Mulan, playing Agent Melinda May on Agents of SHIELD or Fennec Shand on The Mandalorian, Wen has been an important staple in so many franchises. Last year, Wen completed her days playing May on Agents of SHIELD (hopefully not forever) and also made a cameo in the live-action Mulan. However, you may have missed that SHIELD’s final season also had a special Mulan connection....

DC’s middle-grade line of graphic novels is truly one of the gems of the publisher’s lineup and one of the brightest new gems among them is Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld. A reimagining of the young hero’s story for a new generation from writers Shannon and Dean Hale with art by Asiah Fulmore, the new original graphic novel sees young Princess Amaya take a magical prank a little too far, prompting her parents to ground her to Earth for a bit of perspective....

The streaming giant is in the midst of their big TADUM event, which showcases all the biggest things on the app. Romance fans had been waiting for another season of Bridgerton for a little while now. A bunch of Call of Duty games have seemingly appeared on Xbox Game Pass. Earlier this year, Microsoft announced its intent to purchase Activision Blizzard, the publisher and owner of franchises like Call of Duty. Once this happens, Microsoft will have total ownership of the beloved FPS series and be allowed to do as it pleases. It could make Call of Duty exclusive to Xbox, but Microsoft has suggested it will keep the series on PlayStation, at least for the foreseeable future....

The creator of popular drow character Drizzt Do’Urden has spoken about changes to Dungeons & Dragons lore made to move the elf subrace away from racist tropes. Earlier today, Polygon posted an interview with novelist R.A. Salvatore about his upcoming novel Starlight Enclave. As ComicBook.com reported earlier this year, Starlight Enclave will introduce two new cultures of drow that have firmly rejected the teachings and influence of the spider demon goddess Lolth, thus reversing the drow’s past depiction of being innately evil....

Eternals director Chloe Zhao shouted out all the fans who ship Druig and Makkari on social media this week. She identified them as the big fan fiction pairing coming out of the movie with some cool artwork to accompany it.
