DC FanDome took place yesterday and the whole event kicked off with Dwayne Johnson introducing the first look at some Black Adam footage. DC fans were excited to get a glimpse of The Rock as the titular character as well as Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Since the virtual event, we’ve seen some fun posts from Johnson, including him sharing which scene in the movie he shot first. A big theme of the Black Adam segment was “the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe will change,” so it’s no surprise that Johnson has taken to Twitter to explain why his character could beat Superman....

Goldberg cranked up the intensity for his latest match as he took on Bobby Lashley in a No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere Match at Crown Jewel. The WWE Hall of Famer challenged “The All Mighty” to a rematch after SummerSlam due to Lashley putting his hands on Goldberg’s teenage son, and after enduring an early offensive flurry from Lashley the 54-year-old legend proceeded to take out his frustration. The match eventually spilled its way up the entrance ramp, where the rest of The Hurt Business arrived to try and help Lashley....

Things don’t go swimmingly when Aquaman ascends to the throne in a special sneak peek from the HBO Max Original Series Premiere of Aquaman: King of Atlantis. In the three-part animated mini-series, King Aquaman (voice of Shazam’s Cooper Andrews) must prove himself worthy to wield the trident — and the throne — of Atlantis with help from water-controlling Princess Mera (Community’s Gillian Jacobs) and his trusted advisor Vulko (Reno 911’s Thomas Lennon)....

Today, fans will finally get a chance to check out Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1, the first in a comic crossover miniseries involving the two cultural phenomenons. As the name would suggest, the game sees Batman being thrown head-first into the world of Fortnite’s Battle Royale, and having to resort to using his skills as the World’s Greatest Detective to explore his new status quo and figure out how to escape. Given that this is Fortnite’s biggest entry into comics yet, fans of the game were eager to see exactly how elements of the game’s mechanics translate into another medium, something that also posed an interesting challenge for the comics’ creative team....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is hitting theaters in May, and Marvel fans are eager to find out who will be popping up in the movie. This month, Marvel released a new trailer for the upcoming film, and the new footage caused quite a stir on social media. Not only did the trailer feature some big moments for both Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), but the biggest surprise was a mysterious voice that sounded an awful lot like Patrick Stewart....

Godzilla Singular Point has released a new poster ahead of its big release on Netflix! Godzilla is gearing up to have quite a huge March as not only will Godzilla vs. Kong be hitting theaters and HBO Max, but a new Godzilla anime series will be launching with Netflix as well. This new Godzilla anime series, known as Godzilla Singular Point, will be completely different from the divisive anime film trilogy that released with the streaming service some time before....

Jujutsu Kaisen has taken home yet another major award for the anime! Gege Akutami’s original manga franchise has exploded to a whole new world of recognition and popularity among fans thanks to the successful debut of its TV anime. Wrapping up its run last year, it was then announced that the franchise would be continuing with a new feature film. This movie has gone on to all kinds of success of its own, and is readying for its full release around the world as well....

Knockout City Season 2 is set to debut next week, and EA has released an all-new launch trailer to get fans pumped up in the meantime! The new season will feature a new theme, “Fight at the Movies.” Season 2 will feature the Holowood Drive-In map, which includes areas like the Cathedral of Horror and the Bridge of Love, both inspired by classic movies. Players can also look forward to movie-inspired gear, and the new Soda Ball, which blinds players with syrup....

This was a big week for Marvel fans as Netflix’s Marvel series Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders and moved over to Disney+ along with ABC’s Agents of SHIELD. This is a big move for Disney+, especially considering it’s the first time the streaming service has had some extremely adult content. The addition of these shows has led to a lot of rumors as speculation. We know for sure that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will be coming back in some capacity, and many are hoping that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones will also return....

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will get three new games through the SNES app later this month! On July 28th, fans will have the chance to play Claymates, Jelly Boy, and Bombuzal. Even fans that grew up in the Super Nintendo era can be forgiven for not knowing these games, but perhaps they’ll find a new audience on Switch! A trailer showcasing the three games can be found at the top of this post....

The Marvel Comics series Star Wars: Bounty Hunters has been exploring beloved characters like Beilert Valance, Boba Fett, Bossk, and more as they show off their deadly skills around the galaxy, with the upcoming “War of the Bounty Hunters” event set to take the excitement to an all-new level, which includes Jabba the Hutt joining the fray. In addition to Bounty Hunters delivering riveting adventures, fans can expect a series of one-shot comics, which includes Jabba getting his own standalone issue....

Thanks to films like Saw and Insidious, horror fans were well aware of director James Wan’s mastery of the horror genre, yet when he debuted The Conjuring in 2013, no one was prepared for the impact that film would have on general audiences, as it kicked off not only a multi-movie franchise, but also inspired countless imitators. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It marks the first film in the proper series that Wan didn’t direct, instead handing the reins over to Michael Chaves, who previously directed The Curse of La Llorona, itself being a spinoff from the proper Conjuring series....

The Rock’s doppelgänger actually spoke out since getting the spotlight on social media this week. Morgan County Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields say down with Alabama.com to talk about the entire spectacle. The Great One himself caught wind of the police officer on Twitter and thanked him for the job he’s done. For Fields, he’s just happy to have people smiling at his looks. The policeman has drawn comparisons between The Rock and Vin Diesel....

Willy Wonka actor Timothee Chalamet is rolling through the streets in a brand new set photo from the film. The Internet had a bit of a meltdown when the first images of the actor in the iconic costume surfaced on social media. He looked about standard for Wonka, a new version of the popular film being produced by Netflix. In this latest set video from ARTSARTSARTS, fans will get a taste of how the actor’s vocal chops are going....

In the new film Wolf, George MacKay plays a man named Jacob who believes that he is a wolf trapped in a human body. That condition, a real prompts him to eat, sleep, live, and at times move like a wolf would. The film also stars Lily-Rose Depp as a woman, Wildcat, who believes herself to be exactly what her name suggests and given the animal natures of their characters, both MacKay and Depp had to spend quite a bit of time on all fours during filming and according to the actors, it was a bit of a challenge....

A Star Wars fan favorite is back for the first chapter of The Book of Boba Fett. Spoilers to follow for the Disney+ show’s premiere episode. “Stranger in a Strange Land” brings back Max Rebo, who fans will remember from Return of the Jedi. The leader of the Max Rebo Band is hanging out on Tatooine still. The Sanctuary is the name of Garsa Fwip’s cantina in Mos Espa. However, that isn’t the only bit of the past that comes into play during “Stranger in a Strange Land....

AEW executive vice president Cody Rhodes has a busy first week of 2022 lined up. Not only will he defend his TNT Championship against Sammy Guevara at AEW’s Battle of the Belts event on Saturday, but he’ll also star as a judge on the second season of TBS’ Go-Big Show, set to premiere on Thursday night. Rhodes sat down with ComicBook on Monday to promote the show, while also addressing some of AEW’s biggest stories heading into 2022....

The world of DC films has gone through some significant evolutions over the past few years, with projects going through a wide array of incarnations just within the past half-decade.
