Call of Duty: Black ops Cold War got another update this week shortly after the launch of the much anticipated League Play. The update is relevant to the release of that gameplay environment in that it affects it directly by imposing restrictions on different parts of League Play ranging from attachments players can use as well as several kinds of other weaponry like Scorestreaks and Lethals. This same update also continues to tune the Firebase Z content released not long ago....

Chrono Cross had the unenviable task in 1999 of continuing the story of Chrono Trigger, which remains, to this day, one of the most celebrated RPGs of all time. As if that wasn’t challenging enough, the game had to do without Chrono Trigger’s famous “dream team” of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii, and Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama at the helm. Instead, the development of Chrono Cross fell to Chrono Trigger writer/story planner Masato Kato....

DC Comics is reportedly going to raise prices on Batman and other comics in its lineup to the price of $6 per issue. New solicits for the upcoming DC Infinite Frontier books are apparently showing a price increase for the Batman books and few key other titles, such as the new Joker series from James Tynion IV and Guillem March. According to Bleeding Cool, Batman #109 (June) and The Joker #3 and #4, are all now listed as costing $5....

The next-gen update for DOOM Eternal has officially arrived. The free upgrade includes three new graphics modes for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S as well as several specific additions to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller and its adaptive triggers. In one given example for the new DualSense additions, developer id Software notes that going full auto with the combat shotgun will cause the adaptive trigger to actually kick back while firing....

Edens Zero has expanded its anime roster with new cast additions and character designs! Hiro Mashima’s newest series is currently living a new life through anime in Japan as part of the Spring 2021 anime schedule, and the first few episodes have been spent putting the crew of the titular Edens Zero together while slowly introducing the rest of the world. The newest episode of the series brought about a major turning point with the debut of the infamous space pirate Elsie Crimson (who should feel familiar to Fairy Tail fans), and now the cast is expanding even further as a result....

Fairy Tail’s creator is teasing a new announcement amidst their already tightly packed workload. Hiro Mashima might have brought Fairy Tail to an end some time ago, but these days the creator is busier than ever. Not only does he have a new weekly series running in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, Edens Zero (which is currently airing its debut anime in Japan), but he is also contribution the original story to Fairy Tail’s official sequel manga, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest....

The Season 5 finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was packed with memorable moments as the team saves Charlie, destroys the Loom of Fate, and saves reality once again complete with a fight scene set to Sisqo’s “Thong Song”. The episode also saw both Charlie and Zari 1.0 say goodbye – both characters departed the team entirely – and earlier this week, co-showrunner Keto Shimizu revealed that a kiss between the two characters was cut from the episode....

The voice actress behind My Dress-Up Darling’s Marin Kitagawa has revealed her own cosplay of Marin’s take on Shizuku-tan seen in the anime! Shinichi Fukuda’s original manga series had made its official anime adaptation debut as part of the Winter 2022 anime schedule, and had quickly gotten the attention of fans thanks to the draw of its main heroine, Marin Kitagawa. Introduced to fans with the dream of becoming a cosplayer, she wanted to bring life to her favorite character (who she had nicknamed “Shizuku-tan”) that was actually from an erotic visual novel that she had played a ton....

My Hero Academia is teasing its massive 100th episode milestone with a promo giving us a look at what’s to come next! The Joint Training arc from Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga series officially came to an end with the newest episode as Izuku and his group were able to defeat Shinso’s Class 1-B group to end the training exercise. Before the fifth season can properly move onto its next big story for the final half of the episodes, there are still some lingering plot threads and developments that need cleaning up like Izuku Midoriya’s sudden new One For All power....

New Pokemon Snap has revealed the official game artwork for the heavily anticipated title. Last week, the Pokemon Company decided to shake the table and give fans an extended trailer for the upcoming Switch game. Shortly after, the floodgates really opened and pre-orders were live. But, in the fervor, Nintendo also showed people what the game would look like on their shelves as well. Starters like Scorbunny and Grookey are front and center along with Pikachu....

SpongeBob SquarePants fans better be ready for some more new episodes as Nickelodeon just announced a whole bunch of content. There will be 50 new adventures with the yellow sponge who lives under the sea. As an added bonus, Kamp Koral will be getting a Season 2 on Paramount+ as the SpongeBob SquarePants Universe continues to balloon. Fans of The Patrick Star Show should also be ecstatic about 13 more episodes of that series as well....

Red Lobster is bringing their Cheddar Bay Biscuits to the frozen food aisle. The company announced that they would be making ready-to-bake versions of the restaurant favorite this week. It’s not uncommon to read about people going to pick up just the biscuits from a Red Lobster on social media. But, now they can get things cracking in just 15 minutes at home. Red Lobster already sold a mix that you could assemble and toss in the oven....

On Tuesday night, Supergirl ended after six seasons bringing to a close this chapter of The CW’s Arrowverse. It also saw an end to the enduring battles between Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). Heading into the two-episode finale event, the stakes were higher than ever, with Lex poised to gain ultimate power as the pursuit of the All Stone neared its end, but the finale hour, “Kara”, saw a resolution to not only this latest challenge, but may have settled things for good....

Capcom’s Resident Evil Showcase mostly focused on Resident Evil Village, but viewers were also shown new content coming to Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. While it might seem odd given that Ubisoft publishes that game, The Division 2 will be getting new content based on the Resident Evil universe! The crossover was announced during the Showcase by Massive Entertainment’s Yannick Banchereau. Running from February 2nd through the 15th, the event is meant as part of the celebration for Resident Evil’s 25th anniversary....

Vincent D’Onofrio addressed some of those Marvel fan criticisms of Kingpin’s enhanced strength in Hawkeye. His character Wilson Fisk made quite an entrance into the Disney+ series near the end, but Daredevil fans had some skepticism about seeing their old favorite again. During an appearance on Comicbook.com’s ComicBook Nation podcast, the star explained that his fight with Kate Bishop really wasn’t all that different than his numerous scrapes with Charlie Cox in the Netflix series....

It’s been thirty long years since Yu Yu Hakusho’s anime first premiered in Japan, and even longer since Yoshihiro Togashi’s original manga series kicked off in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and the franchise is celebrating with some special new art for each of the characters. Ask many anime fans of a certain age, and it’s likely that they will hold Yu Yu Hakusho in high regard as one of the most notable action anime releases of all time....

Chris Rock didn’t actually get to tell most of his planned jokes while presenting the award for Best Documentary at The Oscars. Good Morning America sat down with producer Will Packer to speak about the wild social media moment. While a lot of outlets are still dragging out postmortems on the entire scene, audiences still seem to be hungry for more details. During the interview, Packer explains that he thought that Rock and Will Smith were doing a bit when the King Richard star strolled up on stage....

After a leak yesterday, Square Enix has now confirmed that Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion is set to release later this year. A remaster of the 2008 game for the PlayStation Portable, Reunion will feature all-new content, including “updated 3D models, full voiceovers and new music arrangements.” The game will also be available to a much broader audience than it was previously, as it will be available this winter on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC....

Friends fans might be disappointed to learn that David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston are not dating. Rumors swirled about the two actors rekindling their flame on social media following the show’s reunion special. However, one of Schwimmer’s representatives told Elle magazine that these claims were untrue.
