Japan’s most famous cosplayer has taken on a rather NSFW look from Beastars! Paru Itagaki’s Beastars might have ended its original run in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine last year, but the franchise is still going strong as series creator Itagaki has launched a new series branching off of the original series, Beast Complex. This new series has officially begun with the newest issue of Weekly Shonen Champion magazine, and Akita Shoten has tapped Japan’s most famous cosplayer, Enako, to help celebrate the new series and the second season of Beastars launching in Japan....

Jeopardy! fans decided to have some fun with LeVar Burton this week on Twitter. The Star Trek actor was delighted by some quick-witted word substitution. @Meggfaced took a quick white rectangle and made Jeopardy into Jeordy in a meme. Her reaction caught the eye of Burton who said he would allow the substitution. (The star played Geordi La Forge on the hit television series, for those who didn’t know.) All of this year has been one big love affair between fans of the game show and the prospective host....

Logan Paul is pushing for a fight with Marvel star Chris Hemsworth. The mercurial influencer posted that he would be down to fight Thor on Twitter. Batman Boxing posted a video of Hemsworth getting some work in with a trainer and Paul thinks he’d be up to the challenge. Now, the responses to the tweet are about what you would expect. People clamoring to be his sparring partner, fans of the Paul brothers, and others who despise them both....

Loki writer Eric Martin debunks a social media “spoiler” that appeared to identify a character as another variant of Loki (Tom Hiddleston), seemingly ruining a surprise from Episode 6. Spoiler warning for Marvel’s Loki. A since-deleted tweet from Marvel Studios Canada, reading “Ladies and gentlemen… The Lokis,” included an image of Time Variance Authority soldier Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) alongside photos of Loki variants Alligator Loki and Boastful Loki (DeObia Oparei)....

Now or Never, the sequel to the popular board game Near and Far, has been announced by Red Raven Games. The new asymmetrical board game is the third in the Arzium Storybook Series by Ryan Laukat and Red Raven Games and takes place hundreds of years after Near and Far. In Now or Never, players will attempt to rebuild their ancestral home after a twenty-year exile due to strange monsters emerging from a crystal meteorite that crashed nearby....

This year will see the release of two very different Pinocchio films. In January, Netflix unveiled the first look at Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, which will mark the director’s first animated movie. The Netflix version of Pinocchio is expected to be a darker take on the story while Disney will be releasing their own live-action version featuring Tom Hanks as Geppetto. The new movie is expected to debut on Disney+ in the Fall....

Richard Arnold – formerly Gene Roddenberry’s assistant who became a consultant and archivist for Star Trek – has died at the age of 66. The official Star Trek Twitter account confirmed the news, tweeting out, “We are saddened to report the passing of Richard Arnold. Arnold made his mark on the #StarTrekUniverse as Gene Roddenberry’s assistant and the Star Trek archivist. He will be greatly missed. #StarTrekFamily #StarTrek” Arnold met Roddenberry at a convention in 1972....

Star Trek: Picard star Patrick Stewart has received the COVID-19 vaccine. Stewart, the 80-year-old actor who returned to his character from Star Trek: The Next Generation for a new series on CBS All Access that debuted in 2020, shared a video in which he gets the vaccine shot into his arm after waiting four hours in line. Stewart is English but lives in the United States. Receiving the vaccine will help protect him from contracting the coronavirus as he begins filming Star Trek: Picard’s second season in February....

The sixth episode of The Book of Boba Fett, “From the Desert Comes a Stranger,” was a big one for fans of the Star Wars Disney+ shows. Not only did we get the long-awaited return of Grogu, but Clone Wars’ Cad Bane made his live-action debut. Another character fans didn’t expect to see on The Book of Boba Fett is Luke Skywalker, who also appeared in the Season 2 finale of Star Wars: The Mandalorian....

While The Batman is still months away from release, fans can get a glimpse at the black-and-red version of Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit courtesy of McFarlane toys. Todd McFarlane shared a look at the McFarlane Toys work office via his Instagram page. Perhaps by accident, McFarlane’s tour offered a shot of the black-and-red Batsuit Batman action figure standing atop what appears to be a base resembling a rooftop with a gargoyle. Whether this figure represents an actual moment in Matt Reeves’ movie or is a particular variant inspired by early posters for the film remains unclear....

Waterworld is getting a TV series according to some recent reports. Collider says that producers John Davis are working on a show that charts the universe’s evolution over the time since the first film. Dan Trachtenberg is aboard to direct the project as well. Davis said, “We’re going to do the streaming version of that movie, the continuation of that movie.” Kevin Costner played the mysterious protagonist The Mariner in the original feature....

When Seth Rollins returned from his hiatus earlier this year he dropped his “Monday Night Messiah” entrance theme and revived the classic “Burn It Down” theme he’s had in one shape or form from when he turned heel on The Shield all the way up to his second heel turn in late 2019. However, when Rollins arrived at WrestleMania 37 on Saturday night for his match with Cesaro, he had a brand new theme accompany him to the ring (though the phrase “Burn It Down” was still shouted a few times)....

News broke last week that, due to his skin cancer diagnosis and the radiation treatments he’d had to undergo, Jim Ross would not be on commentary for AEW programming until the end of the year. This week’s AEW Dynamite marked the first episode with the WWE Hall of Famer serving as play-by-play commentator and he provided another update while on his Grillin’ JR podcast. He explained that he’ll have to undergo radiation treatment for 22 straight days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) but said he’s still confident he’ll be back on his target date of Dec....

AEW confirmed via a press release on Tuesday that it will be releasing a compilation album titled Who We Are: A Celebration of Excellence, Vol. 1 on Feb. 18. The Inner Circle finally got some payback on The Pinnacle during this week’s AEW Dynamite, jumping the new faction in their dressing room and brawling throughout the backstage areas of Daily’s Place. Shawn Spears wound up getting his head slammed in a door, Wardlow was powerbombed through a table, Cash Wheeler was tossed into an ice bath and MJF got a swirly and was thrown into a Pepsi fridge. But Dax Wheeler seemingly took the worst of it, getting a bloody gash on the side of his head....

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been on WWE television since dropping the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36. And in the time since then, he’s shown off a number of different looks while taking photos with fans (mostly with some sort of beard). But on Monday “The Beast” was shown with something fans had never seen before — a ponytail! The Bearded Butchers’ social media accounts shared photos and a video of Lesnar (who was also sporting a goatee) cutting up slabs of meat....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War routinely gets playlist updates each week to cycle out the available limited-time game modes with new ones, but the schedule that governs when those updates are released is changing slightly. These playlist updates will be released on Thursdays from now on with the next one releasing on January 7th.
