Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War got another update this week shortly after the Season One Reloaded update dropped. Included in the patch notes released on February 5th was a confirmation that the game’s movement and jumping systems in the Multiplayer mode had been nerfed, a change players were suspicious of when Season One Reloaded was released. Treyarch Studios said it’ll continue to monitor the change to the movement system to see if it needs to be adjusted in the future....

DC Pride 2022 was released wherever comics are sold earlier this month, providing the publisher’s wide-ranging and spirited celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. The 100-page anthology featured a wide array of stories and identities represented, ranging from newer members of the community to long-running LGBTQ+ characters. That included the first appearance of DC’s first canonically-transgender superhero in nearly two decades. Spoilers for “Super Pride” from Devin Grayson, Nick Robles, Triona Farrell, and Aditya Bidikar; and “Up at Bat” from Jadzia Axelrod, Lynne Yoshii, Tamra Bonvilllain, and Ariana Maher from DC Pride 2022 #1 below!...

This season on DC’s Stargirl, the heroes have found themselves dealing with not just the fallout from their defeat of the Injustice Society at the end of Season 1, but a terrifying new threat in the form of Eclipso (Nick Tarabay). As fans have seen in recent episodes, Eclipso is a truly terrifying foe, and dealing with him before tore the original JSA apart. However, the young heroes have been getting a bit of an assist of sorts from another presumed foe, The Shade, but this week, what seemed like a turning point in the fight against Eclipso ended in horrifying tragedy - a tragedy that may shape things between the JSA and The Shade going forward....

Evangelion has hit hard times thanks in part to the coronavirus pandemic, with the latest film of the franchise, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon A Time, being delayed more than a few times as a result, and it seems like the voice of Shinji Ikari, Megumi Ogata, has entered recovery following emergency surgery. Admitted to surgery as a result of a herniated disc, Ogata has still been making virtual appearances as well as recording new lines for her characters as Megumi has been a voice actor within the medium of anime for years....

Jaleel White is saying that the Family Matters cast wasn’t exactly welcoming him with open arms. The star talked to TVOne’s Uncensored about his part in the wildly popular sitcom. People might not remember, but the show actually existed before Urkel ever appeared. Family Matters ran for about 11 episodes before their dorky neighbor became a fixture of the series. Well, the other cast members had no way of knowing that Urkelmania would sweep the United States....

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has always been a treasure trove for fans that like to hunt for Easter eggs. References to the pages of Marvel Comics and previous MCU titles are packed into each movie and TV shows, and some are a lot easier to spot than others. In Hawkeye, the latest Marvel TV series on Disney+, there’s a really deep cut reference that ties to the West Coast Avengers, one that likely only the most eagle-eyed Marvel fans caught....

Kevin Smith is launching his own creator-owned line of comics, with Dark Horse Comics serving as the publisher. Titled Secret Stash Press, the publishing line is named after Smith’s New Jersey comic book shop. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Smith will write each title, with the eight-issue Masquerade kicking things off this fall. Next up is an anthology series titled Quick Stops, which takes place in Smith’s View Askewniverse and features characters from Clerks, Mallrats and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back....

Marvel: Crisis Protocol has revealed the character stats and abilities for its new Captain America and the classic Spider-Man villain Lizard. Earlier this week, Atomic Mass Games revealed the character cards for Sam Wilson’s Captain America and the Lizard, showing what each of the upcoming characters can do in Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Captain America is a agile movement specialist with the ability to move allies around the battlefield and use his shield to block extra damage and hit multiple foes with a single attack....

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to his Facebook page earlier this week and wrote a lengthy post arguing in favor of NXT’s Rhea Ripley winning the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble this Sunday. One Piece has debuted the first poster art for its next big feature film, One Piece: Red! Toei Animation and Shueisha have been celebrating One Piece’s massive new milestone in some pretty big ways. In the weeks and days leading up to the 1000th episode of the anime, One Piece fans have been taken down memory lane with highlights of the series’ biggest moments. One of the most peculiar promotions counting down to the major milestone was a series of mysterious teaser images depicting each of the Straw Hats with a letter of their name highlighted in red....

The eagerly anticipated new Scream movie won’t slash its way into theaters until January, but fans don’t have to wait any longer for the film’s first poster - and it features none other than the iconic Ghostface. On Sunday, the official Twitter account for the Scream franchise released the new poster that features Ghostface wielding a knife. Spider-Man: No Way Home is hitting theaters in two weeks, and the year leading up to the film has been filled with casting rumors. Last month, a new trailer for the Marvel movie was released and confirmed the return of some past franchise villains. We know for sure that the new film will feature Alfred Molina in his role of Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2, Jamie Foxx as Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin from the 2002 Spider-Man....

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is heading into production soon and will feature a lot of returning stars from the first film, including the younger and older versions of the Shazamily. The younger cast is set to include Billy (Asher Angel), Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer), Eugene (Ian Chen), Pedro (Jovan Armand), Darla (Faithe Herman), and Mary (Grace Fulton). It’s finally almost time for the release of The Suicide Squad, which is officially hitting theatres and HBO Max on Friday. The James Gunn movie is set to feature a star-studded cast, including a few returning actors from the 2016 Suicide Squad. One such person is Margot Robbie, who will be reprising the role of Harley Quinn, which she also portrayed last year in Birds of Prey. While promoting The Suicide Squad, Gunn has told some great stories about Robbie on set and teased her big action scene....

Larry King, the legendary television and radio host, has passed away at the age of 87 in Los Angeles, California. The famous talk show host has interviewed virtually every significant figure in American culture over the last several decades, including many from the world of professional wrestling. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has clarified if his Morpheus is the “real” Morpheus. The Matrix star sat down with EW to talk about the upcoming blockbuster. Abdul-Mateen says that this version of the beloved character is “definitely a different iteration of the character.” A lot of fans lost it when he was announced as Morpheus after the trailer dropped. An appropriate reaction after Lawrence Fishburne was curiously absent from the marketing push while Warner Brothers positioned Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss front and center for The Matrix Resurrections....

Yu Yu Hakusho is celebrating its milestone 30th Anniversary of its first jumping off the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and becoming an anime of its own, and has started marking this occasion with some special new art for the series! While much of the current attention from fans is focusing on Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter series as it readies for its next major comeback, the series that really put the creator on the map for many fans around the world was Yu Yu Hakusho....

This week’s AEW Dynamite closed out with Darby Allin successfully defending his TNT Championship against John Silver, followed by an all-out brawl involving Allin, Sting, Matt Hardy’s faction and the rest of The Dark Order. Once the fight was over Allin gave a send-off promo to the crowd and briefly mentioned Silver had injured his shoulder at some point during the match. Silver then popped up on Twitter after the show and confirmed it....

Yesterday there was quite a bit of buzz around Brian Kendrick, who had been part of WEW for quite some time but hadn’t actually been wrestling the past few years. He was released from his WWE contract, which came to light yesterday, and then not too much later it was announced that Kendrick would be making his All Elite Wrestling debut on tonight’s AEW Dynamite. There’s been a change of plans however after past comments made by Kendrick resurfaced, and Tony Khan announced on Twitter that he is being pulled from the card until they can gather more information....
