After a viral petition was launched to get LeVar Burton in as one of the upcoming guest hosts of Jeopardy!, the show has officially announced that the star known for Star Trek: The Next Generation and Reading Rainbow will be one of the many people to try out the hosting job, which was held by Alex Trebek for 37 years before his passing in November. The petition to get Burton on the line-up has been a hot topic on social media, and the actor made it clear that he wanted to give it a go....

Keith Lee had been absent from WWE television from February to July, with no official reason being given other than him not being cleared. “The Limitless One” repeatedly said on social media that, when the time was right, he would explain why he had to step away. That day finally arrived on Thursday, as Lee uploaded a six-minute YouTube video explaining everything. It started off with Lee stating that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19 back in January and that his fiancee Mia Yim also contracted the virus after insisting that she take care of him....

Tony-Nominated actor William “Biff” McGuire is dead at the age of 94. The star’s career lasted over seven decades and saw him work with countless other legends of the screen. The Tony’s nominated him for The Young Man From Atlanta in 1997 and Morning’s At Seven in 2002. In the world of movies, he worked with Steve McQueen in The Thomas Crown Affair and Al Pacino in Serpico. Hawaii Five-O star Al Harrington is dead at 85. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser received word from his family that the actor suffered a stroke last week. Born Tausau Ta’a, the American Samoan star moved to Honolulu at the age of 3 with his mother. After completing high school in 1954, he would studio at Menlo College and Stanford University to get his degree in history. Harrington would return to Hawaii after graduation to teach at the University go Hawaii....

Wednesday’s inauguration of Joseph Biden as the 46th President of the United States had plenty of noteworthy moments, many of which have already been immortalized or broken down on social media. Amid the pomp and circumstance, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders attracted attention in an unexpected way, after photos of him in a practical overcoat and handmade mittens began to surface online. One picture in particular - which showed Sanders sitting in his chair - quickly became a meme in its own right, with many able to photoshop the Senator into a wide array of amusing and pop culture-inspired situations....

Vince McMahon is currently under investigation by the WWE Board of Directors for allegedly paying millions of dollars to former employees to cover up misconduct, including an affair with a former paralegal. Back in 2019, Disney announced that the long-standing FastPass program utilized at Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks would be discontinued with the new Genie program taking its place. While the is described as a “complementary and convenient new digital service” that offers “personalized itinerary planning,” “restaurant wait list, check-in, and reservations,” a “virtual assistant,” “attraction virtual queues” and more, the premium features of the program come with additional costs that prompted backlash from Disney fans who see Genie as another way for the park to get more money from guests....

A new rumor suggests that one of Disneyland’s most iconic rides will receive a major re-theme based around the upcoming movie Lightyear. Walt Disney World News Today has word of a new rumor involving the upcoming renovation of Disneyland’s Tomorrowland and the upcoming Pixar movie Lightyear. The rumor suggests that Space Mountain will receive a permanent Lightyear re-theme, which will be announced at D23 this fall. The main basis of this rumor is the use of a structure that looks similar to Space Mountain’s silhouette in Lightyear, which has appeared in promotional trailers....

By the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, fans were demanding Marvel “Release The Bucky Sarah Cut.” Well, Adepero Oduye plays Sam Wilson’s sister in the series, but her real-life brother had some words for Sebastian Stan on Twitter. He was very playful, but didn’t want any funny business around his sister. (Kudos to him for being in on the joke!) Needless to say, we don’t know when we’ll see Sebastian Stan or Oduye in the MCU again....

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online won’t be launching this year as Rockstar Games originally intended, a delay which was confirmed during the recent PlayStation Showcase event. One HBO Max series was cancelled today and fans are disappointed. Cristin Milioti’s Made For Love will not be continuing at the streamer. Based on Alissa Nutting’s novel of the same name, the series followed a woman trying to navigate love after a divorce from a depraved tech executive. Viewers found the offbeat premise and cast very intriguing, but the company chose to go in a different direction. HBO Max has had a couple other series get the axe amid Warner Bros....

One of the biggest surprises of Disney’s 2020 Investor Day was definitely the presentation from Lucasfilm, which shed light on a number of the studio’s upcoming film and television projects. Among a number of Star Wars projects, as well as new installments for Indiana Jones and Willow, the studio announced plans to adapt Children of Blood and Bone, the best-selling young adult fantasy novel from Tomi Adeyemi. Since December of 2020, updates surrounding Lucasfilm’s plans for the franchise were essentially nonexistent — until earlier this month, when it was announced that the project had now found a home at Paramount....

When Syfy brought back Battlestar Galactica in the 21st century, it needed a visual refresh. As charming as those classic ships might be, the new series demanded a more modern aesthetic.
