When the company announced that the subscription rate for their streaming service was going up, a lot of people were upset. Disney+ is still relatively young in the world of streaming content. $7.99 doesn’t seem like a large step, but all of these little increases add up over time. Chapek tried to address some of those concerns during Disney’s Investor Day Presentation....
Fortnite’s latest update dropped this week right on scheduled which means that players have a whole new set of patch notes to look over including changes to various systems, new features, and limited-time events. One of those events includes a mini Spider-Man-themed week with extra quests to be completed while those still playing the game’s Imposters mode will now hear other players chatting via proximity chat. The game’s Creative mode also received its own separate changes as players have come to expect by now....
Funko, the company behind the popular Pop Vinyl line of collectible figures and other similar collectible lines, announced on Monday that it has purchased Mondo, a purveyor of high-end pop culture collectibles including vinyl records, posters, toys, and apparel, from Alamo Drafthouse. Rob Jones and Tim League founded Mondo in 2004 to cater to collectors of movie posters and similar memorabilia, hiring popular artists – including giants of the comics industry like Francesco Francavilla and Jock – to create highly sought-after limited pieces of artwork based on fan-favorite properties and those with a cult following....

Disney is bringing out the stars for their adaptation and Variety caught up with the Wonder Woman star on the red carpet for Red Notice. Kevin Feige had a pretty hilarious response to Jamie Foxx spoiling his return in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In an interview with CinemaBlend, the Marvel Studios head was asked about that fateful Instagram post from the beloved actor. The executive deadpanned, “I’m numb to it now. I’m numb to anybody tweeting anything about anything. Politics, movies, Marvel, just numb.” It’s probably good practice for the man with the final say over at the massive company....
At least one Pokemon was cut from New Pokemon Snap over the last year. New Pokemon Snap is out now and some players have already figured out which Pokemon appear throughout the Lental region. But while the mix of 200 or so Pokemon is a pretty good smattering from across the various games, players have discovered one Pokemon that disappeared between the announcement trailer and the game’s release. Although Shroomish appears in the initial trailer for New Pokemon Snap in what we appears to be an early version of the Florio Nature Park, the Pokemon is not anywhere in the final game....
Back in 1992, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past received a novelization in Japan as part of the Futabasha fantasy novel series. Information on the novel was recently discovered and shared online by the unofficial Zelda website History of Hyrule, and there are some interesting things to be seen. Notably, the novel featured stunning art for some of the main characters that has never been uploaded online. Under each character is a brief description, along with their name in English....
The CW has released a synopsis for “Death Rises”, the twelfth episode of The Flash’s eighth season. The episode is set to air on Wednesday, April 27th. Thus far this season on The Flash, the team has been dealing with the emergence of a terrifying metahuman threat in the Black Flame, an entity that has been killing people with flames literally so cold they burn. This week’s episode teased that the Black Flame could somehow be Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), formerly half of Firestorm and Caitlin Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) deceased husband—though it’s not clear if that’s real or just another manipulation of Black Flame....
Disney’s 1988 classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit has finally arrived on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray / Digital, and you can grab it in a standard edition or an exclusive SteelBook edition. As you can see from the image above, the SteelBook design features Jessica and Roger Rabbit front and center with Eddie Valiant and Jessica Rabbit on the back. Shane McMahon was suddenly let go by the WWE last week and his departure has forced WWE to shake up plans for WrestleMania 38. Various reports about who McMahon was potentially going to face have popped up over the last week (Seth Rollins or Austin Theory), and @WrestleVotes reported on Tuesday that WWE viewed McMahon’s match as one of the higher bouts on the WrestleMania card. Young Rock’s second season is set to premiere on NBC on March 15, once again covering three time periods of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s life. As hinted in the season finale, the mid-90s era will include Johnson (played by Uli Latukefu) pivoting away from his football career and into the world of professional wrestling. The latest trailer for the series shows Latukefu telling his parents Rocky Johnson (Joseph Lee Anderson) and Ata Johnson (Stacey Leilua) that he wants to get into the family business....
DC fans got a pretty pleasant surprise on Wednesday, when the first set photos from Warner Bros.’ Blue Beetle movie made their way online. The photos provided the long-awaited first look at Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle, complete with a pretty stellar comic-accurate superhero suit. The photos and the costume have already become a bonafide hit with fans online, and now Jaime co-creator Cully Hamner is reacting to them — and revealing a surprising connection along the way....

Buffy Revamped is a one-person stage show performed by actor Brendan Murphy, who previously put on the show Friend, retelling the entirety of beloved sitcom Friends from the perspective of Central Perk barista Gunther. Here, he’s inhabiting the role of Spike, the vampire who started as one of Buffy’s greatest foes before becoming an ally....
With Season Five of Call of Duty: Warzone now underway, players have plenty to look forward to including the release of two different weapons: The EM2 and the TEC-9. Each of these weapons can be utilized in both Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but only after players have reached the weapons’ corresponding battle pass levels to unlock them. Raven Software also teased two more weapons that’ll come to Warzone, too, though those aren’t available just yet and will instead be released at some point during Season Five....
Ghostbusters: Afterlife director Jason Reitman pays tribute to his “hero” and father, Ivan Reitman, who died on Saturday at age 75. The elder Reitman, who directed the original Ghostbusters films of the 1980s and produced the legacy sequel Afterlife, died peacefully in his sleep over the weekend at his home in Montecito, California, the filmmaker’s family told The Associated Press. In a statement, Reitman’s children Jason, Catherine, and Caroline remembered their father as a husband and grandfather who “taught us to always seek the magic in life,” saying in a statement, “We take comfort that his work as a filmmaker brought laughter and happiness to countless others around the world....
GTA 5 players of the campaign, not GTA Online, can look forward to an important feature with the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game, or at least that’s what a new leak has seemingly revealed. The next-gen versions of Grand Theft Auto V are set to release on November 11, and are set to “expand” and “enhance” the game. For now, it remains to be seen what exactly will be done to the game to fit this bill, but according to a new leak, Rockstar Games is working on a character transfer so that players can import their progress from older versions to this newer version of the game....
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn just dropped a set photo of Adam Warlock from Volume 3. Because today is April Fool’s Day, the filmmaker didn’t get a clean look at Will Poulter’s highly-anticipated Marvel character. It’s a bunch of colors swirling, but some enterprising photo editor is trying to work their magic right now. Fans just want to see any shred of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. But, at this point, the hype will have to linger as the Holiday Special looms later this year....
