Former UFC fighter Jessamyn Duke was one of six wrestlers released by the WWE on Wednesday. Duke first signed with WWE in 2018 alongside Marina Shafir and started working alongside Shayna Baszler in NXT as three of the Four Horsewomen of MMA, but she stopped competing in matches in late 2019. Outside of a random appearance on Raw Underground in mid-2020 she hadn’t been appearing on WWE television at all, opting instead to help with WWE’s digital team and work on Xavier Woods’ UpUpDownDown YouTube channel....

Exactly one week after Lost Ark got its big March update that added Abyss Raids and more, the MMO from Smilegate RPG has gotten another update this week to change a couple more things. It’s not nearly as big as the previous update and deals with some very specific issues like how events are affected by Daylight Savings Time as well as problems with the Arkesia Grand Prix event. Some good news for players is that because of some of the issues they faced in the past week or so, the community is getting compensated with various resources and currencies via this update....

The CW has released a preview for “Chapter One Hundred and Eight: Ex-Libris:, the thirteenth episode of Riverdale’s sixth season. The episode is scheduled to air on Sunday, May 8th. To say that things have been working against Archie and the gang on Riverdale this season would be something of an understatement. The arrival of Percival Pickens (Chris O’Shea), seemingly a descendant of one of Riverdale’s founders with his own ideas for the town, set off a power struggle for the town’s future — and Percival seemed to win at every turn....

The Walking Dead returns tonight with a tribute to cinematographer Stephen F. Campbell, who died during the show’s winter hiatus in November at the age of 65. Airing at 9 pm ET/8c on AMC, Sunday’s “No Other Way” ends on a title card dedicating the episode “in loving memory” of the former Walking Dead director of photography. Campbell, who joined the zombie drama as a camera operator during the show’s fourth season in 2013, shot 36 episodes as Walking Dead DP, beginning with Season 4 episode “Claimed” in 2014....

WWE 2K22 is set for release on March 11, and in the meantime, 2K has been teasing fans with little pieces of content to build up hype for the game. That includes slowly releasing the ratings for some of the game’s top wrestlers, indicating how well they’ll play in the ring. So far five wrestlers have been assigned their ratings, including the four members of the New World Order available via the nWo 4-Life edition in Hulk Hogan (92), Kevin Nash (90), Scott Hall (90) and Syxx (aka X-Pac and Sean Waltman) 88....

A Disney theme park goer has gone viral for her “traumatizing” experience on one of the theme park’s classic rides. TikTok user “@creatingafairytale” (aka “Leslie” according to her bio) posted about getting stuck on the Who Framed Roger Rabbit ride “Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin” on the social media platform; at the time of writing this, the video has 1.2 million views (and counting). The supposed “trauma” in question is a 5-second clip that shows the Roger Rabbit ride broken down on the tracks at a particularly creepy spot, where two animatronic clowns are lurking ominously in the distance....

Between Aquaman and Khal Drogo, Jason Momoa has already embodied a number of epic and memorable characters. Last spring, it was confirmed that the actor would be lending his talents to Slumberland, the upcoming Netflix adaptation of the iconic story Little Nemo in Slumberland. Details surrounding the upcoming film have been relatively slim ever since — but thankfully, we now have our first look at what that will entail. Netflix has released two photos for Slumberland, which showcase Momoa’s unconventional costume, complete with a set of horns on his head....

When Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released earlier this year, it gave DC the filmmaker’s true vision for Justice League, one that was remarkably different than the theatrical version of the film released after Joss Whedon stepped in and made major changes following Snyder’s departure. Among those differences was Steppenwolf. Played by Ciaran Hinds, the version that made it to theaters was very different from what had been teased in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League remedied that, much to fan delight....

One of Loki’s producers had some behind-the-scenes photos of Alligator Loki during those fight sequences. “Journey Into Mystery” is the latest episode of the Disney+ show to hit the service, and the Internet fell in love with the reptile Loki variant. All over Twitter and Facebook, you can find posts about the adorable little menace. Eric Martin posted about the alligator of mischief and persuaded fans that he really did mix it up during some of those fight sequences....

Kids are playing Squid Game at school and schools are now warning parents about instances of fighting. Now, this is by all means not every school. But, there are instances of some Netflix-flavored dustups at Communal d’Erquelinnes Centre in Belgium and other schools like it. A Facebook post from there warns the parents to pay attention to what their kids are doing. (As with most of these stories, a TikTok trend had a large hand in spreading it around....

Marc Wilmore, a writer-producer known for his work on The Simpsons, In Living Color, and F Is for Family, has passed away. The brother of comedian Larry Wilmore, news of his death was confirmed by the former The Daily Show correspondent on Twitter. Wilmore tweeted on Sunday afternoon: “My sweet sweet brother, Marc Edward Wilmore, passed away last night while battling COVID and other conditions that have had him in pain for many years....

My Hero Academia Season 5 has revealed new details for its opening and ending themes! The fifth season of the series is finally making its big return to screens later this March, and it’s one of the most anticipated new anime releases of the year overall. The fifth season of the series will be kicking off with an action packed arc as the students of both Class 1-A and 1-B take on one another in a major joint training exercise to test how far each of them have come since they started school....

James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is hitting theatres and HBO Max in August, and it will soon be followed by Peacemaker. Gunn and John Cena have been busy filming the spin-off for HBO Max and DC in Canada and it looks like it’s going to be a bloody, good time. Gunn recently had a chat with Den of Geek where he talked about The Suicide Squad and its fun cast of characters as well as Peacemaker....

Lucasfilm has reportedly been renewed for three more years. Collider has the news, and this all comes just days after other murmurs of creative differences with Patty Jenkins over Rogue Squadron’s direction. Star Wars has become even bigger than ever in the last half-decade. While the Sequel Trilogy has been much discussed by fans, it undoubtedly kept people coming to the theater. Some spectators thought that the fan reaction to the trio of projects would lead to a switch up of the creative leads for the series....

The Flash returns to The CW on Tuesday night with the first part of the five-episode “Armageddon” event kicking off the Arrowverse series’ eighth season. The event will see several familiar faces coming to Central City and while many of them are heroes - such as Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) and Black Lightning (Cress Williams) - there are some familiar villains as well. Both Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) will appear in the event as well, but when it comes to what role these foes may play in “Armageddon”, series showrunner Eric Wallace says fans will see a side to both of them they’ve never seen before....

The Rising of the Shield Hero has shared how many episodes season 2 will be sticking around for! The debut season for Aneko Yusagi’s original light novel series was one of the biggest anime releases a couple of years ago. It was such a success with fans that it was announced following the end of that season that the series would be returning for a second and even a third. Originally slated to debut last year before it was delayed due to complications from the ongoing COVID pandemic, The Rising of the Shield Hero is finally ready to return for season 2 as part of the Spring 2022 anime schedule....

The highly anticipated trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder was released on Monday and it was quite a site to see. The trailer gave us a good look at what’s to come in the fourth Thor film, including Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor, Thor’s weight loss, and some excellent comic easter eggs. One of those comic call-backs happens to be the use of Thor’s goat chariot, but it as it turns out, the vehicle was originally supposed to show up in the first film....

WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page announced over the weekend that he and girlfriend Payge McMahon officially tied the knot back on Dec. 9. The wedding, according to a press release, was a surprise orchestrated by the 65-year-old former WCW World Heavyweight Champion and his daughter, Brittany Page, and took place at a boutique hotel known as The Dwell in Chattanooga, TN. The release explained, “WWE Hall of Famer, Diamond Dallas Page, 65, surprised his girlfriend of two years, retired adventure athlete, Payge McMahon, 47 with a wedding on Thursday, December 9, 2021....

Yesterday, League Play went live in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and some are unhappy with the game’s Skill Divisions. One player shared an experience on Twitter where they won the majority of the initial qualifying matches, but still ended up in the Competitor division. Another stated that he lost three and was placed in Elite. Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar replied that it could be a configuration issue, but fans started to air their overall frustrations with the way that League Play is being run....

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Captain America: The First Avenger, the writers of the film, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely revealed some interesting new tidbits about the making of the film that introduced us to Chris Evans’ take on the Super Soldier, including concept art that was created focusing on none other than Jake Gyllenhaal wielding the shield. Though Gyllenhaal would eventually get a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Spider-Man antagonist, Mysterio, it’s interesting to think of how different the Avengers would have been had he scored the role of their leader....
