The DC Extended Universe is about to get some new heroes later this year, when Black Adam makes its debut in theaters. Among the film’s ensemble will be Carter Hall / Hawkman, who will be portrayed by Underground and The Invisible Man star Aldis Hodge, and will be one of several members of the Justice Society of America introduced in the film. On Wednesday, it was revealed that the canon of the Black Adam movie is set to be explored in a Black Adam — Justice Society Secret Files series, which will include a number of one-shots about the film’s characters....

Christopher Pennock, star of the 1970s Dark Shadows TV and the soap opera series General Hospital has died at age 76. Pennock was briefly hospitalized on February 12th, before his passing; he had apparently been diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer) last summer. Though his list of acting credits runs long, Pennock will best be remembered for his role as Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde characters Cyrus Longworth/John Yaeger in the original Dark Shadows series....

A producer for a popular Disney+ series has apologized to a YouTube creator after the latter’s work was used without his consent. Behind the Attraction is a Disney+ series about how certain Disney theme park rides were conceived and operate and is director by Brian Volk-Weiss, the co-creator of the Netflix series The Toys That Made Us. While that show is intended to give a lighthearted look at the history behind some of Disney’s biggest hits, Behind the Attraction became mired in unexpected controversary last week when YouTuber James St....

Former Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston has revealed one condition that would help draw him back into television series. Eccleston left the show after leading the revival’s first season. The circumstances around his departure created a rift between him the folks running the show, with Eccleston unhappy with how the producers chose to announce and frame his exit. Still, Steven Moffat had hoped to get Eccleston back for the show’s 50th-anniversary special....

Facebook is changing its name to “Meta.” The social media company revealed its official new name today, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg making an official announcement about the new brand mission for Meta: “The next platform will be even more immersive — an embodied internet where you’re in the experience, not just looking at it. Fallout 76 players who’ve been eager to try out the game’s next update can now do so through the Public Test Servers that have gone live as of Friday. The test servers reopened for players to test out the “Locked and Loaded” update teased back in January which adds two notable features to the game: Extra C.A.M.P. Slots and more S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Loadouts. To prep players for what’s inside the update, the Fallout 76 team also released a set of patch notes for the PTS changes detailing what’s new....

Universal Pictures has released an all-new official poster for the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion and with it announced that the world premiere first look for the upcoming film will debut exclusively in IMAX theaters ahead of the new Fast and Furious movie, F9. Justice League Snyder Cut concept art reveals the first look at Zack Snyder’s John Stewart Green Lantern, who would have made his DC Extended Universe debut in the epilogue of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Production and concept designer Jojo Aguilar, the Creative Director of Snyder collaborator Jay Oliva’s animation studio Lex + Otis, shared the concept art on Twitter, revealing fresh looks at the Apokoliptian Granny Goodness, the Martian Manhunter (Harry Lennix), and the Joker (Jared Leto)....

The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game is set to launch its extensive public playtest later this week. Last year, Marvel surprised the gaming community by announcing plans to develop its own tabletop roleplaying game, that would allow players to either play as one of Marvel’s many superheroes or create their own character to face off against a legion of Marvel villains. Instead of licensing the rights to an established tabletop roleplaying game company, Marvel instead hired veteran RPG designer Matt Forbeck to build a new game engine crafted specifically for the Marvel Universe....

New Women’s Tag Team Champions have been crowed on WWE Monday Night Raw! While the Survivor Series pay-per-view involved a number of the champions in the event, the Women’s Tag Team Championships were unfortunately absent given that the titles are shared between the two brands. The newest episode of Monday Night Raw changed that as it saw defending champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley taking on the team of Queen Zelina and Carmella, who have been working as a duo since their time with the Friday Night SmackDown brand....

It’s been 2022 for all but a matter of hours, and one of the year’s biggest rumors is already spreading across the internet. Jon Moxley hasn’t been on AEW television since Double or Nothing and it looks like the former AEW World Champion has changed up his look. Mox was recently at an autograph signing in Vegas and a fan video from the event shows Moxley briefly removing his hat to reveal he had shaved the top of his head. It’s hard to tell if he’s kept some hair in the back, but many fans are already assuming he’s gone fully bald....

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom is coming up fast and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is getting ready to get back into the water. The star posted a moment of calm on Instagram this week. He’s on a bed with a binder open and the caption says Aquaman 2. Fans have been waiting to see Abdul-Mateen don the helmet again after being so much fun in the first film.
