AEW’s Battle of the Belts on Saturday night closed out with Dr. Britt Baker successfully retaining the AEW Women’s World Champion against former champ Riho. Kenny Omega, who oversees AEW’s Women’s Division, tweeted out after the match, “A great #aew main event tonight! (Riho)’s combination of technique, heart, and natural ability are unparalleled. Can she dethrone the DMD megastar @RealBrittBaker? (No spoilers). Excited now for the next barn burner between (Serena Deeb) and (Hikaru Shida) in their ongoing feud....

Alongside adding a new Ms. Marvel outfit, Crystal Dynamics has surprised Marvel’s Avengers fans on Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X with a new Ms. Marvel freebie or, more specifically, a set of new Ms. Marvel freebies, presumably to accompany the new Disney+ show. Unfortunately, the freebie isn’t anything major, but it’s more than what Ms. Marvel fans have received previously, which is a whole lot of nothing....

While many fans consider Star Wars: The Last Jedi to be the most divisive entry into the Star Wars franchise, there are quite a few things all fans agree on. One widely held belief is that the film took the saga in unexpected directions, with some audiences appreciating the fresh perspective for the series while others were disappointed that they were deprived of things they had hoped to see. Another commonality is that, more than three years after the release of the film, fans are still passionately talking about it, as some fans continue to praise its accomplishments as others continue to personally attack Johnson for “ruining” the series....

Earlier this year, the “War of the Bounty Hunters” event in the pages of Star Wars comics brought with it a number of exciting reveals, not only for underexplored elements of the franchise, but also bringing with it new ramifications for what we thought we knew about the narrative. A key component of the narrative was establishing that the criminal organization of the Crimson Dawn was alive and well during the events of the original trilogy, thanks to the leadership of Qi’ra, with the upcoming “Crimson Reign” event set to explore the next chapter in the organization’s history....

Valorant’s latest update was detailed this week with the reveal of the patch notes for Patch 3.09. This same update comes with the start of the new Act III battle pass as well as a refresh of the game’s competitive scene. It would normally be accompanied by the release of a new Agent as well, but as Riot Games and the Valorant team indicated previously, we’ll have to wait a bit longer until that new character is released....

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss and singer Ryan Cabrera had their wedding this Saturday in California and some famous figures from the world of music popped up at the reception. That included three members of the iconic boy band NSYNC, and videos from their performance at the reception quickly spread online on Sunday. Bliss tweeted out afterward, “AMAZING WEDDING!! Ryan surprised me with performances by *NSYNC , bowling for soup, yellow card, Nash from hot chelle Rae, travis Clark from We the kings – Steve who wrote ‘say you won’t let go’ & an amazing rock number by Stephanie Beatriz – we have the coolest friends....

Some new concept art from Justice League’s Snyder Cut shows off what Kilowog the Green Lantern could have looked like in the movie. DC Comics artist favorite Jerad Marantz posted a look on his Instagram account. From the moment the trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League dropped, people were immediately wondering about how these Lanterns would fit into the larger narrative. That short presence in the film could have been beefed up with Kilowog for sure....

WWE’s WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view was sponsored by the new zombie action movie Army of the Dead, and the company found a few interesting ways to tie that sponsorship into the show. The event began with narration from Dave Bautista, star of the film and former WWE Champion. Then when Damian Priest and The Miz were scheduled to have their Lumberjack Match, the ring was instead surrounded by a horde of the undead....

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Charlie Haas made his surprise return to the national stage during the latest edition of Impact Wrestling tapings in Dallas this past weekend. Unfortunately, Haas had to be stretchered out of his match with Josh Alexander. He took to Twitter on Thursday with an update, confirming he had suffered a concussion but that he would be taking nationwide bookings going forward. Back to the Future star, Christopher Lloyd is going hunting for DeLoreans in the new series Expedition: Back to the Future. The series will see Lloyd team up with Expedition Unknown host Josh Gates, for a mission to track down existing versions of the DeLorean DMC-12, the unique 1980s car model that served as the iconic time machine for the Back to the Future trilogy. Expedition: Back to the Future will stream as a four-part series on Discovery+, starting on March 15th....

Disneyland is heading for a mini-reopening in March. The news comes courtesy of the Disneyland Legacy Passholders account and Disney Parks blog. Touch of Disney will open from noon to 8 pm Thursday through Mondays at the California resort. Tickets to the event will cost you $75 and that includes parking and some other surprises. Disneyland.com is advertising the ticket sales there and they go on sale March 4th. This is welcome news for people who have been jonesing for a trip to the park since the coronavirus pandemic began about a year ago....

DJ Jazzy Jeff says that Will Smith’s viral moment from The Oscars was a lapse in judgement. During the Closed Sessions Legend Conversation series this week, the actor’s friend addressed the social media topic that refuses to die. Chris Rock has basically moved on this week, quipping to the media that he’s not going to talk about it, “unless I’m getting paid.” Now, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star was asked about the entire situation....

Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff has had one of the most exciting journeys in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character first appeared in the post-credit scene of Captain America: The Winter Solider and went on to be a huge part of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. However, it wasn’t until last year’s WandaVision that Olsen was able to dive deeper into her character and officially become the Scarlet Witch....

Techland has today released the third major update for its open-world action game Dying Light 2. This patch in question is actually one of the most notable since DL2 launched back in February of this year. The Fast & Furious franchise was met with a surprising piece of news on Tuesday, when it was revealed that Justin Lin has stepped down from directing Fast X. The film, which is poised to be the first installment in a two-part finale for the franchise, had just begun filming days prior, and the search for a replacement director is reportedly already underway. Fortnite may finally be getting a crossover with Among Us at some point in the future, a collaboration which feels like one that should’ve happened long ago considering the popularity of both games. Words and phrases datamined from the game’s files appear to be direct references to Among Us with mentions of different things pertaining to the game, but it’s unclear at this time exactly what Epic Games might have planned....

Infinity Train Book 4 is about to pull into the station and the series dropped a look at the key art for this season. HBO Max and series creator Owen Dennis have announced that this will be the last batch of episodes of the beloved animated series. Johnny Gargano is officially a free agent, and he’s kicking off his post-WWE career with several announcements. First is the relaunching of his Pro Wrestling Tees shop, which at this point features five new shirts. Those Include Johnny Wrestling Is Back, Johnny Spider (a personal fave), Johnny Wrestling, and two named Believe In Yourself and Bet On Yourself. Gargano also announced that he is starting up a Twitch channel and a YouTube channel, so hopefully, we’ll see him jump into some gaming down the line....

Marvel is giving Ultron a Sentai makeover, as part of the ongoing series Avengers: Tech-On. Like every other character in the anime-style of Avengers: Tech-On, Ultron’s design has been re-imagined in the Sentai genre style of Power Rangers and other famous series. That’s especially fun in this case since Ultron - an evil A.I. with multiple robotic bodies - is one of the more anime-esque characters in the Marvel Universe. So what does it look like when one of Marvel’s robotic figures gets the Sentai treatment?...

While the Wii U was a massive commercial failure, the Nintendo console played host to a number of beloved games, including Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water.
