While Resident Evil Village isn’t set to release until May, it seems that Capcom might already be working on the next installment of the survival-horror franchise. That rumor comes from @AestheticGamer1, who also goes by “Dusk Golem.” The leaker discussed Capcom’s current progress on the game, but was careful to point out that he does not expect it to release before 2024. The Resident Evil franchise is easily one of Capcom’s most important, so it doesn’t seem implausible....

Roman Reigns returned from hiatus at the 2020 SummerSlam and in the weeks that followed he unveiled his new heel persona as “The Tribal Chief.” He’s ruled Friday Night SmackDown with an iron fist ever since with the Universal Championship over his shoulder and Paul Heyman by his side. Many fans have praised Reigns for this transformation, particularly for the personality he’s now able to show on the microphone and in the ring (often shouting at his opponents during matches)....

DC’s Stargirl ended its second season Tuesday night and to say that it was an intense showdown between Blue Valley’s heroes and Eclipso would be an understatement. The season closer was not only action-packed, but delivered some game-changing surprises that not only set up for new series regulars in Season 3 - Joel McHale, Joy Osmanski, and Neil Hopkins were all previously announced in that capacity next season - but may have also just revealed the big bad for Season 3, as well as the season’s title and some unexpected allies as well....

On Tuesday night’s episode of Supergirl, “Blind Spots”, Kelly Olsen officially became the superhero Guardian, picking up the mantle left behind by her brother, James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) after he left National City. The episode, co-written by Azie Tesfai who plays Kelly on Supergirl, saw the newly-minted hero step up for the people most in need of one: the underserved and largely minority community left devastated when Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) caused the collapse of the Ormfell building....

Beginning this Friday, Star Trek fans can dive into the franchise’s history with the Brian Volk-Weiss-directed ten-part docuseries The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek on The History Channel. Featuring Star Trek: The Next Generation star Gates McFadden as narrator and executive producer, The Center Seat promises to reveal rare details about Star Trek’s beginnings, where it has gone over the course of the past 55 years, and where it could be headed in the future....

Ever since Kenny Omega dropped the AEW World Championship to Hangman Page at Full Gear reports have been popping up about just how injured “The Cleaner” has been over the past year. The latest reports from the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer stated Omega was expected to undergo surgeries for an injured shoulder and knee as well as an abdominal hernia. Omega announced on last week’s AEW Dynamite that he would be stepping away from AEW programming while he recovers, then on Monday it was confirmed that he would be relinquishing the AAA Mega Championship for the Lucha Libre AAA promotion....

Last week AEW President Tony Khan teased a massive announcement in the coming weeks, and while we didn’t get the actual announcement just yet, Khan did offer up some additional details and clarification on the announcement. In an interview with Tony Schiavone during tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Khan talked about the reveal and how he can’t talk about what it is yet because of NDAs, but that he has high hopes for it....

We’re gradually getting closer to the debut of DC’s Blue Beetle movie, which will finally bring the story of Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle (Xolo Maridueña) to life on the big screen. One of the biggest lingering questions surrounding the film, which recently began production, has been the possible presence of Ted Kord, Jaime’s predecessor as Blue Beetle in the comics. A now-deleted casting call, which requested a “Ted Body Double” for the film, seemed to suggest that Ted Lasso and Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis might have been cast in the role — but it now appears that that isn’t the case....

Captain America (Anthony Mackie) soars into action alongside a web-swinging Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in a fan’s edit of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s finale. In Episode 6, “One World, One People,” Sam Wilson suits up as a star-spangled Captain America for the first time when the Super Soldier Karli Morgenthau (Erin Kellyman) and the Flag Smashers plot an attack against the Global Repatriation Council headquarters in New York City to prevent a vote on the controversial Patch Act....

PlayStation has released a number of excellent first-party titles since first launching the PlayStation 5 in late 2020. One Florida man now holds the record for the most cinema productions attended of the same film. Ramiro Alanis has seen Spider-Man: No Way Home 292 times. According to the Guinness Book Of World Records, that’s 30 days of seeing the movie when you add it all up. It’s a staggering feat, but with the movie proving to be so popular, this stunt makes a bit of sense. Ramiro previously held the record for watching Avengers: Endgame 191 times....

The world of live-action anime adaptations can sometimes be tough to nail down, with Netflix recently unable to make it work via the canceled series of Cowboy Bebop, but Japan is attempting to create two new films in the universe of Fullmetal Alchemist this year. With the two movies slated to arrive this summer with The Avenging Scar and Final Transmutation, the Fullmetal Alchemist sequels have released new images of some of the big characters that are a part of the next two movies that aren’t Edward and Alphonse Elric....

Ghostbusters: Afterlife hit theaters this weekend and it’s on track to have a successful opening at the box office. The movie has been met with mixed reactions, earning a 61% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes after 201 reviews. ComicBook.com’s Spencer Perry gave the movie a 2 out of 5, saying it has “abysmally forced references” and while “it’s not poorly made on the whole, it’s just exhausting.” However, audiences seem to be more forgiving of the film, which has a 95% audience score after 1,000+ reviews....

Aquaman star Jason Momoa explained his stance on these celebrities not showering with the perfect comment. In the last few days, fans have been confused by numerous celebrities coming out and saying they don’t bathe daily. Momoa wanted to make it absolutely clear that he’s bathing every day and that he couldn’t avoid water even if he wanted to. Square Enix finally revealed Kingdom Hearts 4 to kick off this week, but in reality, the longtime Japanese video game publisher had previously teased weeks ago that it was already working on the project. Although this tease in question wouldn’t really have been noticed by fans until yesterday, longtime director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura, had dropped a pretty major hint at the end of March that the next mainline entry in the franchise would be revealed soon....

Konami’s eFootball 2022 previously had an early autumn release window, but the publisher has now narrowed it down to a set date: September 30th! For those unfamiliar with the game, eFootball 2022 represents a new direction for Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series. The free-to-play game will debut on consoles, mobile, and PC in a format that will be “basically a demo,” with more modes and features being added in the months following the game’s initial release....

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation ended up being one of the more unexpected hits of the Winter 2021 anime season. While the original novel series from Rifujin na Magonote is credited for planting many of the seeds the Isekai subgenre currently enjoys today, the anime adaptation took the recognition and popularity of the franchise to a whole new level. Thanks to the work of Studio Bind, which was formed to produce this series first and foremost, the first eleven episodes of the series had fans hooked to see what was to come in the rest of the anime’s first season....

The DC Films universe is expanding out in some major ways in the next few years, and nowhere is that the case quite like in Black Adam. The upcoming film will introduce a lot of DC Comics canon to the big screen, from the series’ titular character (played by Dwayne Johnson) to multiple members of the Justice Society of America. With filming on the project set to begin in the coming weeks, fans have been eagerly anticipating more updates surrounding it — and luckily, a new series of set photos are here to add to the hype....
