Braun Strowman is back in bulking season! The former WWE Universal Champion was shockingly released by the WWE three weeks ago but took to Twitter on Wednesday to show he’s been hard at work in the gym ever since. “The Monster Among Men” wrote, “357lbs on my way to 370/375 then turning in granite!!!!” Strowman showed off his impressive two-year transformation back in December, writing on Instagram at the time, “Man it’s amazing what you can do when you believe in yourself the pic on the right was about 2 or so years ago when I was battling bad depression drinking all the time not sleeping and going half ass through the motions in the gym....

Popular video games streamer Ben “DrLupo” Lupo is officially leaving Twitch to exclusively stream on YouTube Gaming, it was announced today. DrLupo already has a fairly significant presence on YouTube with 1.74 million followers on the platform, but that is still less than have the 4.5 million followers he will be leaving behind on Twitch. DrLupo’s first exclusive stream on YouTube Gaming is set for tomorrow, August 31st. I want to give a warm welcome to @DrLupo, who, as of today, will be streaming exclusively on @YouTubeGaming!...

The new Dungeons & Dragons/Magic: The Gathering crossover book is a decidedly mixed bag that struggles to show what makes the magical university of Strixhaven unique from other magic schools. Earlier this year, Wizards of the Coast introduced Strixhaven to its multiverse via a card set of the same name. The school was built around five colleges, each of which represents two of Magic: The Gathering’s five mana colors. To the surprise of just about everyone, Wizards of the Coast then announced that their D&D design studio would finish its publication year with a book detailing how Strixhaven could be used as a D&D campaign setting....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now playing in theatres, and it’s had a successful first week at the box office. The movie currently has a 75% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 87% audience score. ComicBook.com’s Jenna Anderson gave the movie a 4 out of 5 and called it “an inventive, outrageous turning point for the MCU.” The sequel sees the return of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, and more....

Eternals is the lowest-rated Marvel Studios movie on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing. A quick browse of the Tomatometer shows the upcoming film at 65% right now. That would be one percentage point lower than Thor: The Dark World. (Chris Hemsworth’s second outing as Thor is contentious in its own right, so that makes a ton of sense.) Reviews are all over the map with most agreeing that this is a massive swing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

An unfinished Dune video game is getting a second chance at life thanks to The Retro Room Games. Frank Herbert’s Dune: Ornithopter Assault was an officially-licensed Game Boy Advance game that began life in 2001. Originally developed by Soft Brigade, the game was basically completed in 2002, but was cancelled as a result of financial difficulties for publisher Cryo Interactive. It’s been 20 years, but The Retro Room Games has secured the rights to the title, without the Dune license....

Tom Cruise has spent the better part of this year and some of last year filming Mission: Impossible 7, but there have been many setbacks due to the pandemic. The last update was reported in June when the production came to a halt yet again after another positive COVID test was discovered on-set. Cruise may be struggling to complete the new film, which will also see the return of director Christopher McQuarrie, but the actor does seem to be enjoying the company of his new castmates....

Just hours after the very first look at the long-awaited film adaptation of The Flash, Marvel’s Moon Knight joined in the fun, with the first set photos emerging from the shoot for the Disney+ series. They have reportedly been shooting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest for a couple of days, but nobody could confirm it until today. That likely suggests that the Egyptian mythology that informs Moon Knight’s mythology will have at least some of its roots in scenes shot at the museum, since multiple days on location are unlikely to be a minor story beat....

In the pages of its manga, the next story arc following My Hero Academia’s Joint Training Exercise Arc was the Meta Liberation Army saga, aka My Villain Academia, but it seems as if the 101st episode of the anime adapted by Studio Bones shows that the franchise is shaking things up. With the Endeavor Agency Arc now beginning, the series has released a new key visual that shows off the likes of Midoriya, Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki as they attempt to learn as much as they can within their new work-study, as they train beneath the number one hero....

Nintendo has pulled back the curtain on five new games headed to Nintendo Switch Online later this month! In a new trailer, the company revealed that Super Nintendo games Super Baseball Simulator 1.000, Caveman Ninja (better known as Joe and Mac), Magical Drop2, and Spanky’s Quest are coming alongside NES title Ninja JaJaMaru-kun. The five games will be added on May 26th, bolstering the already large number of games currently available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers....

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway’s premiere is getting delayed again. Now, according to Sony, the film will open the curtain on July 2, 2021. The Runaway was originally slated for a big release on May 14 of this year. Things have been sliding around with release schedules for more than a year now. with the coronavirus pandemic pushing movies all over the calendar. For family films like Peter Rabbit 2, this has been especially tricky due to the release windows that these projects usually occupy....

Spy x Family is nearing the end of its debut cour of episodes in a little over a month from this point, and it has celebrated the release of its newest episode with a special new poster! The anime is now well over the halfway point of its debut slate of episodes, and that means that the series is setting the stage for its final arc as it readies for the first cour to come to an end....

The CW has released a preview for the two-hour series finale of Supergirl which will air on Tuesday, November 9th beginning at 8/7c. The finale event is set as two episodes, “The Last Gauntlet” and “Kara”, and will see both a major showdown between Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) and Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) as well as the wedding between Alex Danvers and (Chyler Leigh) and Kelly Olsen (Azie Tesfai). The event will also see the return of several familiar faces from the series, including Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, and Chris Wood as Mon-El....

DC is giving fans early access to The Batman by hosting IMAX Fan First Premieres on March 1. Presented in the premium format, the ticketed event brings the Matt Reeves reboot to more than 100 cities for a special preview ahead of The Batman’s wide release on March 4. “Be some of the first fans in the world to experience The Batman on the biggest screens possible,” touts IMAX of the exclusive event set for 7:00 PM on March 1....

Fandango just released the opening scene for The Last Duel. Ridley Scott’s latest movie is a star-studded affair. Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Adam Driver star in the film alongside Jodie Comer. Damon and Affleck shared the writing duties with Nicole Holofcener on this picture as well. Eric Jager’s The Last Duel novel serves as the source material. In 14th-century France, two knights, Jean de Carrouges and Jacques Le Gris are set to duel to the death after a conflict concerning Le Gris’ wife....

WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen revealed her new superpowers as Scarlet Witch. It’s no secret that the character is due for a bit of bolstering in the Disney+ series. A new interview in TV Guide Magazine has the actress spilling about some of the comics-based powers being brought to the forefront in WandaVision. Her reality-bending powers have been on full display during the trailers that Marvel has dropped so far. But, as some fans noticed, things seem to be leaning even further towards magic in the series....

WWE is going all out for WrestleMania 37, the first event in front of live fans in more than over a year. Fans and superstars are both excited to be back in a live venue for the biggest show of the year, and now thanks to some photos taken during event prep, we know that WWE is introducing another slick element to their presentation tonight. Some photos made their way to social media that showed several drones presentations themed around superstar entrances (via @TheNextBIGThing, though original source is unknown), and the ones we’ve seen so far include Bianca Belair, The Fiend, and Sasha Banks (via WrestleTalk)....

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega returned to Impact Wrestling this week to hype up his upcoming Title vs. Title match with Rich Swann. Don Callis kicked off the pair’s promo, saying he had reminded Swann of how inevitable Omega’s One-Winged Angel finisher is, and that there’s nothing the Unified Impact World Champion can do once “The Cleaner” hits it. “Bigger than Hackenschmidt. Bigger than Gotch. Bigger than Thesz. Bigger than Flair....

A group of Animporphs fans recreated one of the series’ iconic covers for an amazing group Halloween costume. Milkael Milkelson and their friends decided to take on Rachel turning into that bear and the entire Internet approved. K.A. Applegate herself chimed in after being tagged in the post. The author was as amazed as the rest of social media by the attention to detail. Most children of the Scholastic book fair generation will remember Animorphs for the wild covers and that’s about it....

With a few days left before Army of the Dead premieres globally on Netflix, the new film from Zack Snyder is currently playing in US theaters in a bigger run than any other original from the streamer. The filmmaker took to Twitter earlier today to confirm that anyone watching the film later today at the Paris Theater in New York City will get the chance to see the film with him as he and his wife/producing partner Deborah Snyder will be in attendance to intro the film....
