Sony has released a new clip from the upcoming film, Morbius. The film is expected to open in theaters on January 28, 2022. The film had previously been set for release back in 2020 but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The new clip comes just over a month after Sony released a new trailer for the film which is the latest Spider-Man-adjacent characters to get the big screen treatment from the studio following two successful Venom movies....
The Oscars incident between Chris Rock and Will Smith during Sunday night’s ceremony continues to be a topic of conversation and controversy, and now The Batman star Zoe Kravitz is weighing in, calling out Smith in a pair of Instagram posts, though she didn’t mention Smith or Rock by name and instead described the events at the ceremony. We’re gradually getting closer to the Season 3 premiere of The Boys, Prime Video’s violent and action-packed take on the tropes of superhero storytelling. The new batch of episodes are expected to weave in a number of comic-accurate elements, including the arrival of Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), a Captain America-esque superhero with a key role in the universe’s lore. In honor of Thursday’s National Superhero Day, the show’s official Vought International Twitter account took to social media to share a throwback photo of Ackles as Soldier Boy, and to reveal that he might have a key role with the creation of National Superhero Day....
The Flash is back for its eighth season on The CW with last week’s season premiere kicking off a five-episode event, “Armageddon”. The event sees an alien threat coming to Central City with word of the end of the world and that The Flash/Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is the reason for it. The event will see several familiar faces return to the Arrowverse as Barry and Team Flash try to deal with the situation and presumably prevent the end of the world and among those familiar faces is Mia Queen....
Yesterday brought the tragic news that beloved actor George Segal, best known for appearing in films like Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and shows like Just Shoot Me! and The Goldbergs had passed away. Just one day after his passing was confirmed a new episode of the hit ABC series premiered, featuring quite a bit of Segal as “Pops.” As the episode wrapped up an “In Memoriam” title card appeared on screen with an image of Segal in character and a brief tribute to his life (which you can find below)....
DC fans are only three months away from finally getting to see The Suicide Squad, the highly-anticipated movie from director James Gunn. The film is expected to feature some returning DCEU characters, including Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), and Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman). However, there are also many new characters to look forward to, including Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian). The Suicide Squad may not be out yet, but Polka-Dot Man is already a hit cosplay idea....

Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania reportedly will see the return of Corey Stoll. The actor played Yellowjacket in the first Ant-Man film and his curious defeat in that movie has been debated in fan circles for a while. Vanity Fair’s Still Watching podcast mentioned that the actor would be back in some capacity for the third installment. Disney Cruise Line will be requiring COVID-19 vaccinations for all Guests above the age of 5. January of 2022 will bring in the new policy, and the company is giving Guests time to account for these changes. After the slower business of 2020, Disney has people chomping at the bit to travel on these cruises. But, the virus is still a thing people are learning to plan around. A lot of these journeys head out to locations outside of United States waters....
Plans for a season 2 to Jupiter’s Legacy have unfortuntely been shelved, at least or the moment, as the next Millarworld Netflix project will be Supercrooks, a spinoff that focuses on the villains in the Jupiter’s Legacy world. Millar teased that some characters are likely to show up again, but just not in a traditional season 2. That means it might be a long time before we see some of the threads from season 1 picked up on, if they are at all, and that includes the character of Raikou....
One Marvel fan imagined what it would be like for Deadpool to be plunged into the Multiverse of Madness. Doctor Strange’s long-awaited sequel is in theaters, and some fans thought they would see Ryan Reynolds’ hero in the movie. But, alas, it was never to be. However, on Twitter, @VozifySus decided to bless us with a crass image of Deadpool using the same sort of “Souls of the Dammed” illusion that Strange employs in the movie....
Ozark’s Season 4 trailer is here and fans are excited online. January 21 will see Jason Bateman and Laura Linney back in the first seven episodes of the critically beloved crime drama. The Byrde family is back and they’re going to be busy. Bateman’s Marty is working with Linney’s Wendy to work out an immunity deal between a drug lord and the FBI. Earlier this week, The Pokemon Company announced that they would distribute Shiny versions of Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres as rewards for participating in the next three International Challenges. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has some newly unearthed concept art that reveals a very different death scene for Leia. Concept artist Phil Saunders posted the artwork of Carrie Fisher’s character in a bed on the Tantive IV. In a movie wrapped up in legacy, it makes a lot of sense for J.J. Abrams and co-writer Chris Terrio to try and bring her journey full circle. For those who don’t know, Leia Organa made her Star Wars debut on Tantive IV, which was the first starship to appear in the entire franchise....
