Simone Ledward Boseman has accepted the Gotham Award on behalf of her late husband, Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick received a posthumous Actor Tribute at Monday’s Gotham Awards ceremony, and Simone Boseman gave the acceptance speech in honor of her late husband. The Gotham Awards had previously announced the tribute for Chadwick Boseman and actress Viola Davis, who co-starred in the acclaimed Netflix film, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The Gotham Awards said in a statement that, “Chadwick Boseman was an incredibly talented actor whose significance and impact onscreen and kindness offscreen will never be forgotten… we are proud to honor him and all of his historical and groundbreaking contributions with this tribute....

The Season 7 finale of The Flash didn’t just bring Barry and Iris’ son and daughter from the future to help with the fight against Godspeed, it also saw another beloved speedster arrive to lend a hand as well with the return of John Wesley Shipp’s Jay Garrick. While getting to see the classic Flash return to the series - especially after his fate seemed grim after the events of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” - was a delight for fans, it turned out that Jay had a larger significance to the story than just a bit of extra speed....

The Walking Dead Miniatures Game is coming to an end. Mantic Games has announced that they will cease publication and sale of its popular miniatures game as of March 31, 2022. Mantic Games has produced the game since 2016 beginning with a successful Kickstarter that raised over $685,000 centered around the “All Out War” arc. Mantic would go on to release seven separate story arcs that covered the bulk of The Walking Dead comics story....

Top Gun: Maverick star Tom Cruise had some thoughtful words about Val Kilmer. In the sequel to the first film, Iceman is back and producers are teasing some emotional moments with Maverick. Cruise talked to Metro about working with his old friend again. The star reiterated his admiration for Kilmer and said that it was “incredibly unique.” The Iceman actor has been adamant about his desire to be in the follow-up before it was announced....

Wrestlemania 38 had something for everyone, including a subtle reference to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. On Saturday, Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE after a 6-year absence, including a 3-year stint founding rival company AEW. Rhodes returned to a hero’s welcoming, facing off against Seth Rollins in one of the best matches of the weekend. Veteran actor C. Thomas Howell is saddling up to “stomp out a few zombies” on The Walking Dead. The Hitcher and Outsiders star made a single cameo appearance as an unnamed Hilltop guard in Season 9 episode “Stradivarius,” the first episode of The Walking Dead directed by Howell’s friend and former Southland co-star Michael Cudlitz. In the Season 9 episode set six years after the disappearance of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Howell’s character approaches Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Siddiq (Avi Nash) to report the whereabouts of an injured Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos)....

Charleston’s The Post and Courier brings word of the local fan that had his dreams come true more than once this year before tragedy ultimately ended his story. A viral Pokemon Sword and Shield video shows one player’s goofy antics go from hilarious to horrifying to exceptional in 20 seconds. A video posted earlier today by the Twitter user @XdoreamuX is a 20-second clip of pure chaos and confusion that features everything from an adorable Pikachu and Yamper to a Shiny Grimmsnarl. The clip opens with a player character in the Wild Area calling out to a Yamper and a Pikachu during a thunderstorm....

A violent scene broke out over the weekend at the World Class Revolution “Christmas Star Wars” event in Irving, Texas, resulting in referee Lando Deltoro being hospitalized after being repeatedly stabbed by “Hannibal” Devon Nicholson, wrestling at the show as “The Blood Hunter.” The plan for the match between Nicholson and Carly Colon (Carlito) was always planned to have Nicholson attack the referee, but according to a referee who was ringside and wrestlers who have spoken with various news outlets, Nicholson took the spot too far and wound up stabbing the referee multiple times in the head with a spike....
