Ric Flair has been on the offensive on social media lately. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter on Monday to call out Becky Lynch for her recent comments about Charlotte Flair. Lynch opted to not respond, but when asked about it on The MMA Hour she told Ariel Helwani, “Look, I saw that tweet. The one that you’re referring to. The one that I’m kind of referring to and I looked at it and I wrote out a response that would have been quite biting and I deleted it and I let it go because I think it’s really sad because this is a legend at one point....

Mark Hamill is remembering Star Wars actor Alec Guinness on his birthday. The Obi-Wan Kenobi actor was born on April 2 1914 and helped the Jedi become one of the most beloved characters in popular culture. Hamill likes to shine a light on the people he’s worked alongside during his career. Guinness is an interesting case because he was an older presence on the Star Wars set. It seems like both the Luke Skywalker actor and his co-stars leaned a lot at the feet of this tenured performer....

WWE will return to Madison Square Garden for the Sept. 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, but if fans want to attend they’ll need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In an announcement posted on the venue’s official website, “Guests will need to be fully vaccinated for WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown at The Garden, meaning the event must be at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose. The only exception is for children under the age of 16, who may provide proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test or full vaccination and are accompanied by a vaccinated adult....

A war of factions between All Elite Wrestling’s The Elite and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Bullet Club could be one of the biggest storylines in all of pro wrestling. Over the past year there have been plenty of teases for it — Tama Tonga’s comments about the group’s former members, Jay White showing up in Impact to tell Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows they’re not allowed back in Bullet Club, Kenta popping up in AEW but rebuking Kenny Omega’s offer for an alliance — but for one reason or another the two companies haven’t fully pulled the trigger on the idea yet....

Saturday’s DC FanDome virtual convention brought a slew of updates for upcoming movies and television shows, including HBO Max’s Batgirl. The film will finally bring Barbara Gordon / Batgirl (Leslie Grace) to life in a modern cinematic context, something that fans have been wanting to see for quite some time. While the film is still in the pre-production stage, FanDome did deliver a piece of concept art, and it happened to tease a meaningful location in Barbara’s world....

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will hit its milestone 100th episode in the Arrowverse series’ upcoming seventh season and a beloved star is returning for the occasion. According to TVLine, Wentworth Miller will reprise his role as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold for the upcoming episode. The episode, which is directed by series star Caity Lotz, is set to air on Wednesday, October 27th, and will be something of a look back through the eyes of the one member of the Legends who has truly seen it all: Waverider A....

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is currently being told in the second season of the anime adaptation, giving us a look into the story of Tanjiro and his friends as they encounter the nefarious Enmu and an even more powerful demon waiting in the shadows, and while the movie itself has shattered records in theaters, a music video by LiSA is doing the same. LiSA is the musician/singer responsible for the opening theme song for the wildly popular Shonen series, which has seen its own fair share of records broken, but perhaps none as fast as her new song Akeboshi....

The Disney Princess Concert Tour has been postponed due to COVID-19. On Twitter they posted a message to let the fans know what was going on. But, for those who thought they would be heading to an arena to see all of their favorites, it’s a sad moment. Last week saw Disney’s Aladdin also have to push things back as some cases were detected among those in the production company. The Princess Tour is a massive undertaking with 85 cities on the list, and a lot of those dates will have to wait now....

The PlayStation Store is being updated with a long-overdue feature, and a feature so basic many are surprised it’s only being added now. According to the official PlayStation Twitter account, any game can now be added to a Wishlist feature on the PlayStation Store. This isn’t what’s new though. This has been a feature for a while. What’s new is what’s bolstering functionality which is the ability to enable push notifications for Wishlist Updates on the PS App or PS4/PS5 console....

PUBG: New State now has amassed over 20 million pre-registrations from mobile gamers looking forward to the game, an impressive figure considering the game was only announced just a few months ago. The announcement of this milestone came alongside news that the game would soon open its pre-orders up on Apple’s App Store, too, with it only being available through Google Play since it was announced. To celebrate both of those announcements, Krafton also released a launch teaser which hopefully means that the game itself isn’t too far off from releasing for mobile devices....

Former Iron Man and Marvel Cinematic Universe star Robert Downey Jr. has taken to social media to pay tribute to Jimmy Rich, his longtime personal assistant that tragically passed away in a car accident yesterday, May 5. Rich was the Oscar nominee’s personal assistant for almost two decades, credited with being his right hand man on every Marvel Studios movie in which Downey appeared in addition to other films like Zodiac, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and The Singing Detective....

The Misfit of Demon King Academy has announced Season 2 is in the works! While 2020’s slate of new anime releases were impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there were still quite a few notable new series premieres that really struck a chord with fans. Upon its initial debut of the first season last Summer, fans quickly grew to love Anos Voldigoad’s overpowered self completely dominating this Demon Academy world. That first season came to an end on a cliffhanger teasing what’s to come, and thankfully that cliffhanger will be followed up with a brand new season!...

Last September brought word that Ryan Reynolds, ever the intrepid businessman with companies like Mint Mobile and Aviation American Gin among his owned properties, was eager to buy a football club and was engaged in talks to invest in the Welsh football club Wrexham AFC with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator and star Rob McElhenney. The deal was made official in November and as of today has been finalized, with “RR McReynolds Company LLC” taking over 100% control of Wrexham AFC Limited from the Wrexham Supporters Trust and each of the new owners contributing a £2 million equity investment into the club....

Edens Zero has announced a new ending theme and cast addition coming to the anime series! Premiering earlier this April in Japan as part of the Spring 2021 anime season, the anime debut of Hiro Mashima’s Edens Zero series will be continuing straight through the Summer 2021 slate of new anime releases. This means some major changes will be made to the anime for this second cour of episodes, and not only will there be a new major addition to the main crew of the titular Edens Zero, but a new ending theme for the occasion as well....

Genshin Impact has been expanding its borders since the game launched last year, and with parts of the game’s map still untraveled, there’s naturally more to come in the future. Developer miHoYo talked about its plans for Genshin Impact recently during a Game Developers Conference panel and said that the developer plans to expand the game further by releasing additional regions over the next four years until all seven of Genshin Impact’s Teyvat regions are playable....

To say that Bill Murray is a legend is a bit of an understatement. The actor has had a long career of noteworthy roles including as one in the original Ghostbusters film and it seems like everyone who works with Murray has a funny or charming story about the actor to share. That’s certainly true for the cast of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The latest film in the franchise opens in theaters on Friday, November 19th, and four of the film’s young stars shared with ComicBook....

The developer of Gotham Knights has revised the backstory for Batgirl after fans criticized the game for using harmful disability tropes. In the comics, Batgirl is shot in the spine by Joker and is then largely seen in a wheelchair. Depending on the version of the character, she becomes Oracle, Batman’s eyes and ears while he’s in the field. She is able to use her technical wiz to be a major asset to Batman without getting into combat....

Veep star Sam Richardson is joining HBO Max’s Harley Quinn in its third season. Richardson is making a name in the comic book television space. Richardson plays Gary on Marvel’s new Hulu animated series MODOK. He also has a specific X-Men character in mind that he’d like to play. In the meantime, Richardson will enter the DC Comics universe by voicing an unrevealed character in Harley Quinn. That’s according to co-showrunner Patrick Schumacker, who shared the news after seeing the story about Richardson’s preferred X-Man....
