The former UFC Champion talked to the Dan LeBatard Show with Stugotz about his part in the Disney+ series. Despite being a minor villain in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Disney was really quick to get GSP back into the fold. He told the radio show that his return was locked down almost immediately....

Christopher Nolan’s biopic Oppenheimer continues to build an impressive cast. The latest reports state that Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy star Gary Oldman is joining the cast of Oppenheimer – albeit just for one scene. No official details about the role have been announced; the only reason we know that Gary Oldman is going to be in Oppenheimer is that Oldman himself revealed as much in an interview with the UK’s TalkSport radio show, revealing that he was working on Nolan’s latest movie and that his brief appearance would be “one scene, a page and a half....

Following the game’s formal unveiling at the start of this week, Sony San Diego Studio and PlayStation have now revealed the MVP Edition of MLB The Show 22 which boasts some unique, anime-inspired artwork. This season’s cover athlete, Shohei Ohtani, might not just be the biggest star in MLB at the moment, but he’s also someone who grew up in Japan and has a huge love for anime and manga. As such, PlayStation partnered with a famous Japanese artist to turn Ohtani himself into an anime character on the game’s MVP edition....

Moon Knight has landed at least one of its villains. Joining the series is Ethan Hawke, the four-time Oscar-nominated actor behind hits like Training Day and Sinister. As of now, Hawke’s role is being kept under wraps ahead of the production’s presumed March production date, and Hawke will act opposite Oscar Isaac and May Calamawy. The news was first reported by THR. I still can’t quite wake up from this dream I’m having, that we’re directing Oscar Isaac in a Marvel show....

Netflix revealed they have a new anime based on Grimm’s Fairy Tales coming our way with its first poster! Netflix has been greatly increasing their production and licensing of new anime projects in the last couple of years, and this last year especially saw a number of original projects produced by the streaming service. Not only do they have a number of new anime and anime-adjacent titles joining the service this month, they took some time to announce some of the new projects they have coming our way in the future....

I’m someone who didn’t get into the Persona series until Persona 5 was released back in 2017. I feel like this is pretty common for a lot of people in the West considering that P5 was arguably one of the first Persona games to really blow up in markets outside of Japan. Because I’m somewhat of a newcomer to the Persona franchise, though, some previous installments (especially spinoffs) went completely unnoticed by me when they were first released....

All Elite Wrestling’s first Blood & Guts Match will take place on tonight’s special edition of Dynamite. Hours before the show the company released a series of photos giving a glimpse of the monstrous steel cage that with surround both rings as The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle Collide. The match has been compared to the classic WarGames bouts of the 80s and 90s in Jim Crockett Promotions and WCW, though Chris Jericho has stated in various interviews that it won’t be exactly like those matches....

Congratulations are in order for Power Rangers Dino Fury, as the show has won a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming. The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community, and Dino Fury delivered a huge first for the franchise, introducing the first LGBTQ+ Ranger Izzy (played by Tessa Rao) across the show’s 28 seasons....

After WWE announced Knockouts Champion Mickie James would be competing in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, the possibility of WWE suddenly bringing in surprise wrestlers from other companies seemed like a real possibility. In The Suicide Squad, no character was safe with several meeting fairly gruesome ends. Others, however, had deaths that were no less jarring but were perhaps less gory, including The Thinker (Peter Capaldi). The sadistic scientist in charge of Project Starfish met his end at the hands - metaphorically speaking - of the alien creature he’d been experimenting on for decades and while it was by no means a clean death, according to filmmaker James Gunn, there was a much bloodier version and now, he explains why he cut that version from the film....

It seems like Call of Duty: Warzone is preparing for the arrival of the King of the Monsters himself: Godzilla. Call of Duty has crossed over with cinematic icons like John McClane, Rambo, Ghostface, and Jigsaw, but there’s never been anything quite like Godzilla. For many, having a giant monster is a bit out of place for a Call of Duty game, it’s a bit more up Fortnite’s alley, but it looks like the beloved military shooter is committed to the bit....

The fourth season of the HBO Max original series Titans has found its leading bad guy. Joseph Morgan, star of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, has been cast to play the DC villain Brother Blood in Titans. Joining Morgan is Claws’ Franka Potente in the role of Mother Mayhem, and The A List’s Lisa Ambalavanar in the recurring role as Jinx. Morgan and Potente are set as series regulars. Demon Slayer is one of the biggest franchises in Japan right now, and its popularity knows no bounds. Whether young or old, people of all ages overseas are flocking to the fantastical series. Of course, this means there are plenty of people rushing to capitalize on that success, and some of those opportunists will come as a surprise. After all, politicians are jumping on the bandwagon, and the team behind Demon Slayer would like them to stop....

Monsters at Work is coming back for Season 2 on Disney+. The Monsters Inc. follow-up series was a big hit with younger audiences on the platform. While Monsters University filled in some of the backstory for Mike and Sully, this series actually forges ahead. Now, with the main characters of the beloved Pixar movie on the sidelines, you might expect interest to taper a bit. But, this wasn’t the case for the Disney+ program....

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai’s manga is finally getting an official English language release! Riku Sanjo and Koji Inada’s original manga series based on Square Enix’s classic video game franchise ran in the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in the late 1980s and early ’90s, and fans have been wanting to check it out in an official capacity for quite some time. The series has been popular in Japan and international territories, enough to even get an official anime adaptation, but the series has found a whole new worldwide audience thanks to its recent anime reboot....

Edens Zero has revealed new character designs and cast additions coming to its upcoming anime adaptation! Hiro Mashima’s newest work will finally be getting its due in anime form this Spring, and fans of Fairy Tail and Rave Master are curious as to how Edens Zero will be turning out. Although we have yet to see too much of what the actual anime looks like for the series, it is steadily coming together with its central cast of characters....

The day has finally come! Avengers Campus has officially opened in Disneyland’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim, and there’s a whole lot to look forward to from the new Marvel attraction. The most exciting draw is WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, the new interactive screen ride that allows you to team up with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) to take down the out-of-control Spider-Bots he helped create. If you’re a fan of Marvel and theme parks, chances are you’re also familiar with The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, which is another ride located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando as well as Universal Studios Japan....

The first three episodes of Hawkeye are currently available to stream on Disney+ and there are plenty of nods to Marvel ranging from the obvious (like the fun details in Rogers: The Musical) to the hidden gems (like the comics deep cut that teased the West Coast Avengers). There was another little nod to the greater MCU that one eagle-eyed fan spotted.
