My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission is getting ready for its big premiere in Japan this week! While Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga franchise is currently enjoying the fifth season of its TV anime series (and rounding out its second cour in just a few more weeks), but the franchise will be branching out with its third feature film very soon in Japan. This new film will see Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo work together with pro heroes from around the world to take on one of the biggest villain threats in the franchise yet....

A new Rockstar Games job listing has Red Dead Online and Red Dead Redemption 2 fans on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Google Stadia very excited. As an experience, Red Dead Redemption 2 is pretty perfect. What isn’t perfect is Red Dead Online. Not only does it have a substantial content problem, but it has an even bigger problem with hackers and modders. Since the beta of Red Dead Online, players have been complaining about hackers and modders ruining the game, and so far, Rockstar Games has done very little to address this, or at least what’s done so far hasn’t worked....

Yesterday brought the tragic news that character actor Lou Cutell had passed away at the age of 91. With over five decades of credits to his name, Cutell was best known to many for his appearances on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld (where he played the proctologist with the “ASSMAN” license plate), and Grey’s Anatomy. To a certain generation of film fan however, Cutell was instantly recognizable for his brief appearance in the 1985 hit comedy, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure....

Pokemon Go’s latest update contains code that indicates that Pokemon Go is finally ramping up a long-awaited feature. Yesterday, Pokemon Go released its newest update and dataminers quickly cracked the game code open to see what secrets it contained. This new update contains information about a major new feature and a brand new lure that will likely serve as a new evolutionary item. The update contains tons of new code related to a Route Maker, a new feature teased in previous updates....

Yesterday, Pokemon Home’s long-awaited 2.0 update was finally released, giving players the ability to import Pokemon from Pokemon Legends: Arceus, as well as Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The update also gives players the ability to move compatible Pokemon into those newer games. In fact, Serebii.net’s Joe Merrick has discovered a very cool Easter egg for players that import Pokemon from the original Diamond and Pearl to the 2021 remake....

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrived in theaters this past weekend, weaving new and familiar elements to tell an unprecedented story within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among the film’s cameos from existing MCU characters was Abomination (Tim Roth), who briefly appeared in the fight club sequence alongside Wong (Benedict Wong). This marked the first appearance from the Incredible Hulk villain in over a decade, and with the character already confirmed to appear in the upcoming She-Hulk Disney+ series, fans are curious to see what his status quo has in store....

Spy x Family’s creator is getting ready for a huge new year with a special New Year’s Day sketch to kick off 2022! Tatsuya Endo’s original manga series has been a huge hit with fans ever since it started its run with Shueisha’s Jump+ app (and through Viz Media’s digital Shonen Jump library outside of Japan), and the manga following has been so dedicated that many fans felt like an anime adaptation was pretty much guaranteed to happen someday....

Last week marked the 23rd anniversary of one of WWE’s most iconic moments of the Attitude Era. A taped episode of Monday Night Raw taking place in Worcester, Massachusetts, on Dec. 29, 1998 saw The Rock defend his world championship in a No Disqualification match against the lovable Mankind (better known as Mick Foley). The Suicide Squad director James Gunn says his DC movie will “make your f—ing eyeballs explode” in a behind-the-scenes look at a promo recorded for a Canadian movie theater chain. Officially Rated R for “strong violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual references, drug use and brief graphic nudity,” the gory and swear-filled The Suicide Squad assembles a new Task Force X when Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) squads up with Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), the armored assassin Bloodsport (Idris Elba), master of weapons Peacemaker (John Cena), ex-exterminator Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchior), the pessimistic Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian), and the man-eating King Shark (voice of Sylvester Stallone)....

Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.11.1 is now live on Nintendo Switch. As suspected, the game’s newest update is a pretty minor one, focused primarily on fixing a handful of issues players may have encountered. Fans have been eagerly awaiting some kind of substantial expansion over the last few months, but there just hasn’t been a whole lot of new things to do in the game. Nintendo has confirmed that a big update will release this year, but that likely won’t make anyone feel better in the meantime!...

Conor McGregor broke his ankle against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The highly-anticipated trilogy featured both fighters putting it all out there to settle who was the better man. Last time out, McGregor became an instant meme because of that wild knockout and his pose on the ground. This time, the story will be the gruesome injury he sustained early in the fight. Things were interesting to start out, but things quickly unraveled for the house favorite....

Masako Nozawa has been playing the part of Son Goku for decades now, starting when he was a child in the original series of Dragon Ball and well into his adult life as he learns transformations like Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct within Dragon Ball Super, and the voice actress has celebrated Goku Day via a giant golden ape. The Oozaru might not appear as often in the Saiyan race since the level of Super Saiyan was discovered, but the giant ape form has definitely left an impression on fans of Akira Toriyama’s Shonen series since the very beginning....

Dungeons & Dragons has announced a new organized play campaign set in Ravenloft. Wizards of the Coast has announced that Dungeons & Dragons’ next Adventurers League campaign will be Ravenloft: Mist Hunters and will launch on July 9th. The new adventure is inspired by the upcoming release of Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft, a new campaign setting book that fleshes out the various Demiplanes that comprise the world of Ravenloft. Ravenloft: Mist Hunters is composed of a total of 14 adventures, including two Epics, and will take players from Level 1 to Level 8....

The professional wrestling industry has grown quite a bit over the past few years with the addition of All Elite Wrestling to the landscape, but some former WWE stars have expanded the industry once again, revealing that they’ve started a new wrestling promotion of their own. EC3, Jedediah Koszewski, and Adam Scherr (formerly known as Braun Strowman in WWE) have launched a new wrestling company called Control Your Narrative (CYN), and according to the announcement, the new company will be announcing a TV deal soon and have announced that Killer Kross (formerly Karrion Kross) has also joined up, and they have their first 2 shows lined up....

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo has revealed two new playable characters that are set to join the roster of the popular free-to-play video game. More specifically, the Hydro-attuned Yelan and Electro-attuned Kuki Shinobu have been leaked or generally part of the video game previously, but this is the first official announcement that they will be playable at some point. Genshin Impact’s Version 2.6 update, “Zephyr of the Violet Garden,” is set to release later this week on March 30th, and the two new playable characters are expected to appear at some point after that....

Godzilla Singular Point has shared a close look at its new Godzilla and Jet Jaguar designs with some new toys! Although Netflix has experimented with the Godzilla franchise before, Godzilla Singular Point will be a completely different kind of project from that previous trilogy of anime films. Built from the ground up with a brand new creative team, one of the biggest drawing points for the new series is the updated designs for not only Godzilla itself but some of the other TOHO classic Kaiju making an appearance with this new take....

Jurassic World Dominion hit theatres this weekend and it’s having a lot of success at the box office despite mixed reviews. The new movie is currently up on Rotten Tomatoes with a 31% critics score and an 80% audience score. ComicBook.com gave the movie a 3.5 out of 5 and called it “overly long but full of heart.” One of the biggest draws of Dominion is the return of Jurassic Park’s Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Sam Neill (Alan Grant), and Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm)....

News broke last week via Wrestling Inc. that WWE was going to introduce a new version of their classic King of the Ring tournament, an all-women Queen of the Ring tournament, later this year. Andrew Zarian of The Mat Men Podcast followed up that report on Tuesday, stating that the tournament will begin on the Oct. 8 edition of Friday Night SmackDown and the Oct. 11 edition of Monday Night Raw....
