Vin Diesel is addressing the feud with his Fast & Furious franchise co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It was a subject that was inevitably going to come up as Diesel does pres for the latest Fast & Furious movie, F9; when the last film in the series hit theaters in 2017 (The Fate of the Furious) Diesel and The Rock were not on friendly terms. Social media posts from Rock hinted at major on-set beef between him and Diesel, but the two action stars managed to play nice by the time TFotF was out....

On Friday, The CW officially announced that they would not be moving forward with Green Arrow and the Canaries, the Arrow spinoff that aired a backdoor pilot as part of that series’ eighth and final season nearly one year ago. The series would have followed Katherine McNamara’s Mia Queen/Green Arrow alongside Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance/Black Siren and Juliana Harkavy as Dinah Drake/Black Canary in the year 2040. Now, McNamara is speaking out about the news, sharing that she is “heartbroken” Mia’s journey will not continue....

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has dropped a new promo that’s teasing a major Naruto Kage summit, as well as a big turnaround for Kawaki, the Kara “vessel” that Boruto and Team 7 are now bringing back to Hidden Leaf. The promo teases the storyline for the upcoming Boruto episode 193, which is titled “Cohabitation”. As the title implies, clearly Boruto and Team 7 make it back to Hidden Leaf with Kawaki in tow, but there will have to be a much larger debate and a decision within the top powers of the shinobi world about what should actually be done with Kawaki, in the larger sense....

Chaosium has announced plans to publish a collection of classic Call of Cthulhu rulebooks and supplements as part of a new boxed set to celebrate the game’s 40th anniversary. Last week, Chaosium launched the Kickstarter for the Call of Cthulhu Classic box set collection. Backers of the campaign can choose between two different boxed sets that contain reprints of the popular Second Edition Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG rulebooks and supplements....

This week’s episode of DC’s Stargirl, “Summer School: Chapter Eight”, not only find the Justice Society of America in its most vulnerable position as a team yet in the aftermath of Yolanda (Yvette Monreal) quitting as Wildcat last week, but also takes the team further down an already dark path as Eclipso (Nick Tarabay) remains free and a threat. Doctor Who is set to reach the end of an era in the very near future, when series star Jodie Whittaker and showrunner Chris Chibnall will depart from the beloved BBC series. While the billionaire space race increasingly crowds the stars with tech moguls and celebrities, NASA continues its scientific work. On Christmas morning, NASA launched its most powerful telescope ever. The James Webb Space Telescope launched aboard an Ariane 5 rocket into space. The telescope will serve as NASA’s primary observation point for the next decade. NASA announced the successful launch on Twitter, tweeting, “We have LIFTOFF of the @NASAWebb Space Telescope!...

Asked by Yahoo Entertainment about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Star Trek legend simply replied, “Who is Doctor Strange?” It’s a smart play as to not reveal anything else about the upcoming project. However, the Internet clearly doesn’t believe him at all. The trailer that premiered during the Super Bowl ended up being a major point of discussion on social media....

Space Jam: A New Legacy is back on HBO Max after being removed earlier this year. The LeBron James-led feature was a hit with families upon release and actually won the box office on its opening weekend. However, there has been a lot of discussion about the film on social media that leads to a bit of a mixed reaction. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a 25% freshness rating, while over on the audience side of things it remains at 79%....

Star Trek: Discovery has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Single Episode. Discovery won the award for the episode “Su’Kal,” which sees Saru (Doug Jones), Dr. Hugh Culber (Wilson Cruz), and Adira Tal (Blu del Barrio) entering a space station consumed by the holographic nightmares of Su’Kal (Bill Irwin), a Kelpien who’d lived on the station alone since watching the rest of its crew, including his mother, die....
