This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with what was supposed to be a seven-team tag team turmoil gauntlet match to determine who would get the next shot at RK-Bro’s Raw Tag Team Championships. But after a war of words between the champs and Bobby Lashley, “The All Mighty” and MVP were added into the bout as an eighth team. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods quickly established themselves as the iron men of the match, taking down the Viking Raiders, Jinder Mahal & Veer, the Lucha House Party and T-Bar and Mace....

The first season of Bel-Air is an unequivocal hit for Peacock, as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot has quickly become the streamer’s most-streamed original series. Bel-Air has broken a number of Peacock records, including new subscribers, usage, and upgrades, along with reaching eight million accounts on the service. Peacock made the announcement during its NewFront presentation. The streamer has more than 28 million monthly active accounts and 13 million paid subscribers....

Regal Movies wants you to see Black Widow in ScreenX. The company showed off the unique 270 degree panoramic picture on Twitter today ahead of the Marvel movie’s big premiere. Film fans have waited for a year for Scarlet Johansson’s feature-length solo movie, and it’s finally here. Some people will be opting to see Black Widow on the biggest screen possible. That means ScreenX has to be in the mix with IMAX too....

Blink-182 singer and bassist Mark Hoppus revealed on Wednesday that he is cancer free. Hoppus made the announcement on social media, sharing that while he still has regular scans ahead and a bit of time to go before he gets back to normal, it’s an “amazing day” and he feels “blessed” by the good news. Hoppus had previously announced his cancer diagnosis back in June as well as offered updates on his progress since that time, generally taking a positive outlook on his condition in his updates....

Nostalgia is a fickle thing in the entertainment world nowadays. People enjoy looking back on the things they loved during their childhood, and taking a chance to revisit some of those things decades later can sometimes be fun. That’s rarely what actually happens, though. Film and TV studios have gone all-in on rebooting and reimagining old properties in order to try and get the attention of audiences, oftentimes completely ignoring story and character development in the process....

While Comic-Con will have plenty of panels dedicated to upcoming projects that will hit North America via Hollywood, the convention will also be diving into a number of projects from the East, with a panel highlighting the latest spooky entry from Junji Ito being recently announced. With fans waiting until next fall to dive into the anime adaptation of Uzumaki, one of Ito’s biggest stories that will be making its way to the small screen thanks to a partnership between Adult Swim and Production IG, it’s clear that the horror mangaka isn’t resting on his laurels when it comes to creating new creatures....

If there are two things that Marvel fans want, it’s for the Fantastic Four to join the MCU and for Reed Richards and Sue Storm to be played by real-life husband and wife John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. Fans got a partial taste of things when Krasinski appeared as the Earth-838 Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but now a Disney+ poll is oddly taking the fan casting to an interesting new level....

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson reveals the first poster for Universal Pictures and Blumhouse horror movie The Black Phone. Directed by Derrickson from his adapted screenplay co-written by Doctor Strange scribe C. Robert Cargill, The Black Phone reunites Derrickson with his Sinister star Ethan Hawke in an adaptation of the 2004 short story by author Joe Hill (NOS4A2, Locke & Key). “Never talk to strangers,” warns the poster for the horror-thriller from producer Jason Blum (The Forever Purge, Halloween Kills) that features Hawke (The Purge, Marvel’s Moon Knight) as a costumed creep who kidnaps young victim Finney Shaw (For All Mankind’s Mason Thames)....

Five law firms have announced via press releases in the past week that they have launched investigations into the WWE over potentially violating federal security laws, engaging in unlawful business practices, breaching fiduciary duties and allegedly harming their investors by producing misleading information. The announcements all came days after The Wall Street Journal broke the news that the WWE Board of Directors was investigating Vince McMahon for allegedly paying millions of dollars to a former WWE employee to keep their affair from becoming public....

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 15 will premiere on December 1st on FXX, and will start streaming on FX on Hulu the next day, December 2nd. The season 15 premiere will officially make It’s Always Sunny the longest-running live-action sitcom in the history of TV, breaking the record set by The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. While Halloween might typically be the holiday most horror fans look forward to, there’s some excitement in store for Shudder subscribers, as Joe Bob Briggs will be hosting an all-new special just a few days ahead of Valentine’s Day. The new special, Joe Bob’s Heartbreak Trailer Park, will be showcasing a double feature of unannounced films that will seemingly channel the spirit of the holiday, with Briggs also noting that he will be featuring four special guests on the program, joining himself and Darcy the Mail Girl....

There’s been a lot of buzz about where current wrestling free agents Keith Lee and Mia Yim will end up now that they are no longer with WWE, especially after Tony Khan teased that big free agent signing for next week’s AEW Dynamite. That very well could happen, but until then, there is still a lot to celebrate, as today Lee and Yim were married in a beautiful ceremony. The couple got engaged in February of 2021, and now more and more photos of the event have hit social media thanks to guests at the wedding, including Nixon Newell, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Riddle, Damian Priest, Shane Taylor, and more....

AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday night saw Lio Rush make a surprise appearance as the 21st entrant into the Casino Battle Royale. The former WWE NXT Champion didn’t last long in the match (getting eliminated by Matt Hardy and Private Party) but it looks like his time in the Jacksonville promotion is far from over. Tony Khan talked about his status in the event’s post-show media scrum, saying (via Cageside Seats), “I haven’t got pen to paper but Lio and I have a handshake where he can work here and New Japan....

LEGO Mario is acting weird and fans are freaked out by a new glitch that’s causing the character to call out for Luigi. Eurogamer ended up reporting about this phenomenon, but you can see countless videos on social media of the tiny plumber trying to find his brother. Now, Luigi hasn’t made his official appearance in LEGO format yet, but this seems to indicate that the Super Mario Bros. will be reunited at some point soon....

The Marvel’s Avengers in-game store has been updated, and it’s been updated with a special Thor: Ragnarok surprise for Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X users still playing the Avengers game in 2022. In addition to teasing what players can expect from the game’s next update and beyond, developer Crystal Dynamics, today, released a new Thor MCU skin. At this point in the game’s lifespan, an MCU DLC skin isn’t all that noteworthy....

Marvel’s Shang-Chi has been projected to set a Labor Day Weekend opening box office record. Deadline is reporting that the Marvel feature could be headed for a $90 million launch. That would eclipse Halloween’s wild $30 million opening back in 2007. Typically studios try to avoid the Labor Day holiday because people are so preoccupied with outdoor activities. Obviously, 2021 poses some different challenges. But, Disney and Marvel Studios are confident that Simu Liu’s MCU debut can overcome whatever is standing in its way....

My Dress-Up Darling has brought its first season to an end, and one animator has honored the season finale with some special new art of Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo. Shinichi Fukuda’s original manga series had a small following in the years since its debut, but now it’s gotten the attention of a whole new audience thanks to the success of its debut anime adaptation. Premiering with the Winter 2022 anime schedule, this new series managed to take over many fans’ conversations thanks to the strength of that central pairing as they grew closer with one another as the series continued....

The next League of Legends update is scheduled to arrive on April 13th, and with it will come a shakeup of the game’s meta just before the Mid-Season Invitational. That’s at least the plan according to Riot Games with a patch preview offered to players this week ahead of the finalized patch notes to show what the plans are. That shakeup consists of buffs for some particularly divisive champions including Gwen, Yasuo, and Yone as well as some nerfs for some of the more popular picks seen in competitive play....
