Monster Hunter Rise is set to release its Ver. 2.0.0 update later today, and based on what Capcom has said about the new Nintendo Switch game patch, it should be a doozy. The update will add Elder Dragons, Chameleos, and Apex Monsters for folks to go about hunting alongside new quests, items, skills, and more. As expected of a major update, there will be plenty more of what Monster Hunter Rise players already love about the video game when the patch drops later tonight....

A new Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate update has disappointing news for subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC. Right now, Xbox Game Pass is available in two forms. The base form runs at $10 a month. In addition to this, there’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $15 a month. For an extra five dollars a month, this version comes with Xbox Live Gold, EA Play, and a variety of other perks and limited-time offers....

Clifford The Big Red Dog has a brand new poster ahead of the film’s release in theaters and Paramount+. It’s been a long road to this point for the PBS Kids favorite. There were surreal relations to the models used to bring the titular dog to life. After that was social media backlash to the first footage of the dog when it appeared. Finally, some COVID-19 postponements just for good measure....

Just a few short days ago, developer Kinetic Games released a substantial new update for its co-op horror title Phasmophobia. This patch primarily brought about a massive overhaul to the game’s VR system, which is something that had been promised for a long time. Perhaps as expected, though, this patch ended up bringing about a number of new bugs into Phasmophobia which Kinetic Games is now trying to iron out with a new update....

After 177 episodes filmed across 12 years and 11 seasons, production on the long-running zombie drama ended this week on set at Riverwood Studios in Senoia, Georgia. In a video captured moments after the series wrap on The Walking Dead, Reedus gives his speech as an emotional Melissa McBride hugs executive producer and series finale director Greg Nicotero (via TMZ)....

UFC 4 has added two new fighters to the game: Jiri Prochazka, and a Legacy version of Conor McGregor from UFC 178. UFC 178 featured a featherweight bout between McGregor and Dustin Poirier, in which McGregor earned the Performance of the Night, defeating the other fighter 1:46 into the first round. This weekend, the two fighters will have a rematch in UFC 257, so the timing of this release should be perfect for fans of McGregor!...

Riffing on his long-standing reputation for spoiling Marvel movies, Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo took to social media to share a clip from this week’s episode of What If…?, which introduces the Marvel Zombies. What starts as a familiar enough scene centering on a confrontation between Bruce Banner (Ruffalo) and members of the Black Order quickly gets weird when Iron Man shows up to “help,” but goes a little overboard when dealing with Thanos’s minions....

Bam Margera says that he was cut out of Jackass 4 because of substance use on set. The Viva La Bam star told his fans about his feelings on social media. In two now-deleted videos, the Jackass staple talked about his struggles with Jeff Tremaine and implored the people still around to Venmo him a dollar if they go to see the film. Dead Island 2 is not only reportedly still happening, but its release date is apparently not very far away. The sequel to 2011’s Dead Island was announced back in 2014. Unlike its predecessor – which was developed by Techland, the Polish studio that would go on to make Dying Light and Dying Light 2 – Dead Island 2 was being made by Spec Ops: The Line developer Yager Development. However, in 2016, after development issues, the studio was yanked from the game and replaced with Sumo Digital, a team perhaps best known for Crackdown 3, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Team Sonic Racing....

GameStop will give away a special promotional Pokemon card to customers who spend $15 or more on Pokemon cards. Starting tomorrow, GameStop will give out a special Hisuian Typhlosion card to anyone who spends $15 or more on Pokemon card packs or boxed sets. While the Hisuian Typhlosion card features the same artwork and foil treatment as the card found in Astral Radiance, the new Pokemon Trading Card Game set being released tomorrow, this particular card features a stamp with the Astral Radiance logo on it....

Both Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw have been fun additions to the cast and look to loom large as the series continues. Brooklyn Nine-Nine just referenced The Snyder Cut of Justice League on the latest episode. During an argument in the precinct, Jake Peralta tries to convince Captain Holt that Aquaman’s trident is supposed to have five prongs. The leader of the 99th Precinct doesn’t agree and cites the fact that the prefix “tri” would indicate that there should be three prongs and no more. But, Jake retorts that Jason Momoa’s weapon has five points on the business end in both the original theatrical release and Zack Snyder’s Justice League....
