Infinity Ward has opened a new branch in Austin, Texas. The announcement was made this morning via the studio’s official Twitter account, which notes the Texas-based team joins Infinity Ward studios in Los Angeles, Mexico, and Poland, but doesn’t say what game they will be working on. This summer, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will release on Nintendo Switch, and the game will be accompanied by an all-new amiibo figure! Releasing the same day as the game, the Zelda and Loftwing amiibo features both characters on one base. It also allows players to call the Loftwing at any point in the game. Horror comics, like any horror genre format, can be tricky. You have to introduce something with sufficient darkness and intrigue to make it worth following, pace it just right to keep readers hooked, and offer a bit of terror as well - that’s what horror does, after all. And with all that, you still need originality and a real sense of stakes to give the story that perfect punch. The upcoming Pokemon games are getting a day one patch that will add some multiplayer functionality and open up the post-game content to players. Yesterday, The Pokemon Company announced that a day one patch for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl would be available to download starting tomorrow. The patch will add communication features for several features, including in the Grand Underground and Super Contest Shows. Players will also need the update to receive special items via Mystery Gift, and visit Ramanas Park after entering the Hall of Fame....

Netflix just dropped a trailer for the Tiger King spinoff, The Doc Antle Story. Viewers last saw him in the original run of the streaming sensation. He got a confessional-style interview at his own zoo in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Joe Exotic lobbed accusations at Antle including some that he killed tigers to free up space for more animals in the enclosures. Tiger breeding is one of those core elements of this franchise and one that horrified viewers the most....

Fans might think that Daisy Ridley, star of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and Spider-Man star Tom Holland had similar experiences fronting billion-dollar film franchises, but Ridley suggests that’s not the case. Ridley, who played Rey in the Star Wars films, and Holland, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Peter Parker, co-star in the new dystopian action movie Chaos Walking. When Yahoo Entertainment host Kevin Polowy asked Ridley if she and Holland bonded over their shared career trajectories, Ridley explained that what she did on Star Wars is different from what Holland is doing Spider-Man....

PlayStation finally revealed the first real look at the upcoming video game God of War Ragnarok during its recent PlayStation Showcase 2021, and that includes a number of new details and characters like Thor, Angrboda, and more.
