Dungeons & Dragons is starting to ramp up its marketing campaign for its next adventure book, and that means we’re starting to get a deeper look at what lurks within the strange Netherdeep. Next month, Wizards of the Coast will publish Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep, a new full-length D&D adventure book set in the Critical Role world of Exandria. Not only is this the first full-length adventure published for the Exandria campaign setting, it also promises to reveal more hints and teases about the various mysteries of that world....

The actress who plays Sarah Wilson on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had some questions about playing the title character’s sister. Adepero Oduye brings the grounding presence for the Wilson family to life in the Disney+ series. Halo Infinite looks to be making some big changes to its in-game shop here in the new future and will specifically be “reducing pricing across the board” starting this coming Tuesday, January 18th, according to Jerry Hook, head of design at Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries. Jungle Cruise had its long-awaited big premiere at Disneyland last night and many folks were in attendance, including stars Dwyane Johnson and Emily Blunt. The new movie, which is based on the Disneyland ride of the same name, was produced by many folks who often work with Johnson, including the star’s former wife and current business partner, Dany Garcia. Garcia co-founded Seven Bucks Productions with Johnson back in 2012 and continues to play a major role in his career....

Even though we’re still waiting for the premiere of The Suicide Squad, filmmaker James Gunn has already been hard at work for his DC Comics followup coming to HBO Max with the John Cena-starring series Peacemaker. Cena will reprise his superhero role in the upcoming film in the title role, and it looks like filming is now underway on the HBO Max series according to Gunn himself. In a new post on social media, Gunn reflected on his time during the coronavirus pandemic and writing the series “for fun” while quarantining, and now it’s becoming a reality....

Roman Reigns broke the news hours before the Day 1 pay-per-view on Saturday that he had tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, his Universal Championship match with Brock Lesnar had to be scrapped, forcing WWE to quickly change plans and add “The Beast” to the four-way WWE Championship match (which he won). Lesnar’s had his first challenger for his ninth world championship reign — Bobby Lashley — determined in the main event of this week’s Raw, but Lesnar still had his sights set on antagonizing Reigns on this week’s SmackDown....
