Heading into WrestleMania 37 weekend, the match between Randy Orton and The Fiend had the most questions surrounding it. Based on everything that has happened since last December the bout seemed to be setting up more supernatural antics from Wyatt and Alexa Bliss, with some speculating that it might turn into another Firefly Fun House Match like when Wyatt took on John Cena at WrestleMania 36. But that didn’t happen, and other than a haunting transformation by Alexa Bliss and The Fiend returning to his original form there was very little tying back to the storyline involving the three....

After much teasing on the part of the Among Us team, the game made its expected appearance during Summer Game Fest’s opening day. Eternals decided to let everyone know where these heroes were during Avengers: Endgame during the final trailer. Marvel Studios had the whole Internet talking when it dropped the clip on social media this morning. Basically, the Celestials charged their group with only interfering with human life if the Deviants were involved. A lot of people probably weren’t expecting the first couple of seconds to lay out why Ikaris, Sersi, and others didn’t swoop in during the Avengers’ last two outings to help turn the tide....

Some Missouri residents were very confused when they got an alert about Batman and The Joker recently. On the 18th, The Highway Patrol for the state sent out a push notification that concerned a purple and green 1978 Dodge 3700 GT. Tim Burton fans will recognize that as the car that The Joker drove in the 1989 movie. Also curious was the mention of Gotham City in the alert. Twitter users began to Google and see if there really was a city with the same name as the DC Comics location....

Jeff Hardy took part in a special Supershow fan event for AdFreeShows during WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas and briefly spoke with members of the media. At one point, ComicBook asked the former WWE Champion if his time in AEW so far had matched his expectations. Hardy was released by the WWE back in December after walking out of the main event at a live show in Texas. He arrived on the March 9 episode of Dynamite and has since competed in AEW and various independent shows alongside Matt Hardy in a quest to prove the Hardy Boyz are the greatest tag team of all time via one last run....

When Jurassic World: Dominion hits screens next summer, the film will be introducing a new and more “brutish” take on Velociraptors. Unlike other new threats introduced in the Jurassic World trilogy, this will not be a specially-bred threat, but a dinosaur that occurred in nature. The Atrociraptor might sound like a cartoonish name for he creature, but it was discovered by Wayne Marshall in 1995, in layers of the Horseshoe Canyon Formation in southwestern Alberta, Canada....

Filmmaker Kevin Smith took to social media today to announce that the trailer for Clerks 3 will release in 7 days, giving fans their first look at many of Smith’s “View Askewniverse” characters since Clerks II in 2006. In spite of having a major studio distribute the film – something that Smith has not sought for his last few movies – the filmmaker is still doing a roadshow tour with the picture, and will put tickets on sale for the first handful of cities when the trailer drops....

The series is reaching a new climax now that the Pokemon anime franchise is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Ash Ketchum is now facing off against tougher battles than ever before, Goh is closer than ever to actually joining the Project Mew team, and the series has not forgotten about Chloe’s own journey throughout all of it as it seems like the series is getting ready for her next major challenge heading into the future episodes of the anime as well....

Pokemon Sword and Shield fans can grab a Shiny Toxtricity at participating game stores starting today. The Pokemon Company and select retail partners are distributing a Shiny Toxtricity to celebrate the release of the new “Shining Fates” expansion for The Pokemon Trading Card Game. ComicBook.com first reported on the giveaway earlier this month, but GameStop and other retailers only confirmed the giveaway this week. Fans in the United States can use the Pokemon Pass app while at their local GameStop store (either curbside or in-store) to obtain this free Pokemon via the Pokemon Pass mobile app....

Steamforged Games has announced plans to produce a board game set in the world of the original Resident Evil game. Resident Evil: The Board Game will launch on Kickstarter in October of this year. The new Kickstarter aims to complete a trilogy of games based on the first three installments of the Resident Evil franchise. Steamforged previously released Resident Evil 2: The Board Game back in 2019 and used the same engine to develop Resident Evil 3: The Board Game....

The world of theatrical blockbusters has been thrown into unprecedented territory over the past year, with the COVID-19 pandemic bringing much of the movie theater industry to a standstill. Even as films target new release dates and circumstances begin to improve, the financial toll of the past year has been felt on multiple levels, including the closure of certain theaters and theater chains. The Arclight Cinemas and Pacific Theaters are the latest to do so, announcing on Monday that they will be closing their doors permanently....

After Edge made his surprise return to Friday Night SmackDown last week, WWE quickly turned around and confirmed that the “Rated-R Superstar” would challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Since then both Reigns and Edge have commented on the match, which was originally supposed to take place at WrestleMania 37 before Daniel Bryan inserted himself into the equation and made it a triple threat....

David F. Sandberg, the director of Shazam!, has apparently never spoken with Zack Snyder about his take on the DC Films universe. That’s a revelation he made on social media today, as fans wondered what kind of relationship Sandberg has with the man who originated the verisons of Superman, Batman, and other heroes that Shazam! alluded to and featured. Sandberg’s film, tonally different from Snyder’s in a dramatic way and featuring characters who had not debuted (as almost every other DC Films character did) in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has always felt slightly at a remove from the rest of the movies....

During today’s Gamescom opening night live presentation, Dotemu and Tribute Games revealed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will offer a fifth playable character: April O’Neil! The famed reporter will be joining Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo when the game launches sometime in 2022. The game’s debut trailer seemed to imply that she and Splinter might be playable characters, but this is the first confirmation we’ve seen thus far. Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific release window for the game, so TMNT fans will just have to wait patiently to find out when the game will arrive next year....

When the gunslinger discovers the identity of the mystery killer who eluded him inside the Lawton settlement where Virginia (Colby Minifie) murdered the falsely accused Janis (Holly Curran), sentencing her to death-by-walker for the slaying of Ranger Cameron (Noah Khyle), John is gravely wounded when he’s gunned down by Dakota (Zoe Colletti) — Virginia’s younger sister....

Genshin Impact update 1.5 is live alongside patch notes, and now the game is also officially available on PS5, in addition to PS4, PC, and mobile devices. Most notably, the update adds two brand new characters: Eula and Yanfei, both of which we’ve known about for months thanks to various leaks. However, while the highlight of the update are the pair of new characters, the huge update also comes with the Serenitea Pot system, which adds an entire housing system to the game, plus new quests, events, monsters, and more....

Marvel stars Simu Liu and Jonathan Majors have both been announced as hosts of Saturday Night Live this November. Jonathan Majors (who plays Marvel Cinematic Universe Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man 3) will host SNL on November 13th, with Taylor Swift as the musical guest. Meanwhile, Simu Liu (who stars as the titular character in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) will host SNL the following week, November 20th, with rap star Saweetie as the musical guest....

Fans of the Mission: Impossible franchise have been waiting quite a while for the seventh installment, but this week finally featured some big news thanks to CinemaCon. The movie has been pushed back multiple times due to the pandemic. It was originally supposed to hit theaters last year, and now it’s not scheduled to be released until 2023. At CinemaCon’s Paramount Pictures panel, franchise star Tom Cruise revealed the title for the film, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds announced two events this week, one of this is live now with the other scheduled to get underway soon after. The first is a K-pop crossover with the supergroup Blackpink while the other is a free week that’s happening early next week. It’s also been suggested that this free week is meant to gauge interest in the game going completely free-to-play at some point in the future. Announcing the official collaboration of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and @BLACKPINK!...
