It’s not often that WWE fans get hear one of the company’s top stars praise the work of somebody completely outside of the company. But that’s exactly what happened when Daniel Bryan sat down with Barstool Sports’ Robbie Fox earlier this week. Fox was walking Bryan through some of his most memorable pre-WWE matches when the conversation eventually turned to his bout with Kenny Omega in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. That bout is most famously known for the pair’s hilarious rendition of “John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt,” which Omega apparently came up with and had to convince Bryan to do....

A new Dungeons & Dragons competitive board game is coming soon to WizKids. Game designer Nicholas Yu revealed on Twitter that he was a designer of a new Dungeons & Dragons-themed board game titled Dungeons & Dragons: Onslaught. The game was shown off at GAMA Expo over the weekend, and will be a “competitive skirmish game” in which players battle rival adventurers and monsters in a quest for glory. The game will include 21 miniatures and feature the Harpers and Zhentarim factions from the Forgotten Realms....

Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch could not believe that Harry Styles was in Eternals. The Marvel actor talked to ET Online about his general surprise at the reveal. Chloe Zhao and her cast worked very hard to keep a lid on the pop star’s inclusion throughout filming. But, the public would have to learn about it sometime. It sounds as if Doctor Strange ended up finding out at the same time as everyone else....

Achievements for a heavily leaked, but unannounced remaster of GoldenEye 007 are continuing to leak ahead of the Xbox E3 showcase. The story of Rare’s remaster of GoldenEye 007 dates back many, many years, all the way back to the Xbox 360. The developer was looking to bring its beloved James Bond video game adaptation to Xbox 360 as a downloadable arcade game, but due to licensing issues and miscommunication, the game was not allowed to be released....

Subway is joining legions of fans in calling for a restoration of the Snyderverse. Following Justice League’s Snyder Cut getting that big debut on HBO Max, some people have been wondering if Warner Media would be willing to go back to the well again. The response was mostly positive, and there seemed to be some hope for more. But, last week brought comments from Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff that would seem to put a damper on all that talk....

Atomic Mass Games has announced plans to release a new Marvel: Crisis Protocol character pack containing two new X-Men characters. The X-23 and Honey Badger Character Pack will continue to grow the X-Men roster within Marvel: Crisis Protocol by adding “sisters” Laura and Gabrielle Kinney, both of whom are clones of Wolverine. While both possess Wolverine’s healing factors, there are subtle differences between the two. X-23 has only two retractible claws per hand and a foot claw, while Honey Badger is impervious to pain thanks to a controversial nanite treatment....

Marvel has released an Eternals poster for Harry Styles’ Eros character. Now, the inclusion of Starfox was a massive surprise for audiences in the first post-credits scene for the film. A lot of fans were wondering what introducing him at this juncture would mean for the Eternals and other stories moving forward. Styles brings an innate charisma to the character from the moment he steps into frame. Eros is a bit of an interesting pick for Marvel to introduce and it seems likely that he will have a role in the cosmic side of the MCU going forward....

McDonald’s is undeniably a household name in the world of fast food, delivering menu items that have delighted people for generations. According to a new series of trademarks filed by the company, it is about to bring its unique quirks into a whole new domain — the metaverse. As trademark attorney Josh Gerben tweeted on Wednesday, McDonald’s filed ten trademarks, which would cover both McDonald’s and McCafe, to the United States Patent and Trademark Office on February 4th....

My Hero Academia has shared some cool new posters for Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki to celebrate the return of Season 5! Following a short break last week, both the fifth season of the anime and Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga series are both returning this week for new entries. Fans have been excited to see the anime make its return because the fifth season has finally kicked off its second cour for the Summer 2021 anime season, and the first arc focuses on Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto’s new work study under Endeavor....

James Gunn confirmed that Peacemaker would be getting a second season on HBO Max today. Over the course of the first season, fans really grew to like John Cena’s boisterous vigilante. Clearly that strong fan reaction did something for the HBO brass as they signaled their intent to keep rocking with the band of misfits in a second season. On Twitter, the creator announced the news to almost universal applause. When Peacemaker was announced, a lot of people wondered why Cena’s character would be the one from The Suicide Squad that got a miniseries....

Resident Evil Village is set to release in just a few short weeks, but some information about the game may have leaked early! According to leaker AestheticGamer1 (who also goes by Dusk Golem), the game’s developers were working on an extremely difficult mode. This mode is apparently a follow-up to the “Ethan Must Die” mode that appeared as part of the DLC for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Readers should take this with a grain of salt, as AestheticGamer1 notes he is unsure whether or not the mode will actually release in the game....

Ryan Reynolds had a pretty hysterical response to a Deadpool fan letter just five years too late. A fan named Hunter decided to write up “Mr. Deadpool” for a class assignment and proceeded to gush about how cool the hero was. Reynolds was touched by how much passion there was in the piece. But, unfortunately, he discovered that his response to Hunter never got mailed. Well, the Deadpool star is getting that sorted out right now, and posted the letter on his Instagram for all the fans to see....

This week, Capcom debuted a brief teaser for Street Fighter 6. The trailer didn’t give fans much to go on, but it did feature a surprising new logo. Past Street Fighter games have all shared a distinctive, colorful style, but the new logo abandoned tradition for a minimalistic black-and-white design with the letters “SF” and a small “6.” Most fans seem to absolutely hate the design, and many have compared it to bad clipart....

A new Subway restaurant lawsuit argues that the chain’s tuna isn’t actually tuna. Two Bay Area residents, Karen Dhanowa and Nilima Amin, are plaintiffs in the complaint according to The Washington Post. Basically, their representation is claiming that the fish is more of “a mixture of various concoctions that do not constitute tuna, yet have been blended together by defendants to imitate the appearance of tuna,” according to the complaint. They’ve gone so far as to have independent lab tests on “multiple samples” taken from select Subways in California....

The showrunner for Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier says that the series builds upon what Black Panther started. Malcolm Spellman is the man leading the Disney+ show. He talked to TV Line about the upcoming MCU project and pointed out how much diversity came into play when crafting this narrative. It is no secret that for a lot of viewers, T’Challa’s story was a major moment of seeing themselves represented on screen....

The Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie had a pretty wild story about her friend John Cena. James Gunn appeared with his two stars to promote the film on Jimmy Kimmel Live. During the show, the Harley Quinn star said that she used to sleep in a room with a life-size poster of John Cena. But, if you let her explain, it’s because the man she was dating loved the WWE Superstar....

The Wheel of Time’s showrunner has confirmed the fate of one fan-favorite character from the first season. Last week, Prime Video posted the finale of The Wheel of Time’s first season, which saw several big moments and more than a few big questions about the fate of several characters. One such character was Loial, the helpful and talkative Ogier who guided Rand, Moiraine, and their friends through the dangerous Ways. In the finale, Loial and Perrin helped uncover the fabled Horn of Valere, a powerful artifact capable of summoning heroes from the past for the Final Battle against the Dark One....
